    Turn Your FINGERS & HANDS into IRON Using a Tree | REAL IRON PALM #kungfu #martialarts #ironfist #ironbone #karate #ironshin #shaolin #taekwondo
    I have been training Iron Bone, Iron Shin, and Iron Fist Kung Fu since I was 18 years old. In that time I often use trees and other things in nature to make my bones stronger! In this video I am in Madrid, Spain and I show you how to use a tree and the city to condition your fingers, palms, and hands! Be safe, train hard, be humble, train everyday, and enjoy the process!

    Throughout my school life I was bullied. They mocked me because of my dark skin. And they use to beat me up. No one helped me. I made friends with some of my classmates thinking that they will help me. But when the bullies came they left me and joined the bullies to beat me up with them.
    Then I started learning karate. And I worked day and night to train myself. And then all my bullies avoided any conflict with me.
    Now I'm a black belt in karate and I know how it feels to be weak. But the truth is we are not weak its just a state to mind. So I thought of teaching everyone martial arts and rise above bullies. And started a UA-cam channel last week. Always remember YOU ARE NOT WEAK. YOU ARE MORE THAN WHAT YOU THINK YOURSELF TO BE. NEVER EVER GIVE UP.

    Tree training is nice, but smacking everything on your way while walking is a bad idea: first - you might break smth if you get carried away; second - there are many brick walls out there and they can easily cut through your skin; and finally - these objects are outright dirty and you can pick up all kind of illnesses though damaged skin.

    Actually this method does work. It strengthen the bones through a process called remodeling. If you exercise (especially the weight-bearing kind), then that will stimulate the bone to remodel positively (with more new bone than it replaced). Whenever you do lots of extreme exercise or fighting, you get microcalluses or microfractures and these can stimulate remodeling. These (under the age of 30) should remodel stronger. If you're over the age of 30 and you want stronger bones, you can't count on the default balance of remodeling to be positive, so you can't stop stimulating the bone to be stronger. Therefore you should keep constantly exercising. If you practice this moderately and safely, you will get stronger and stronger everyday.

    Thank you! I am from Austria and i live in Vienna so i apologize my bad English. You are a Inspiration for me because the Iron Fist/ Iron Monk is one of my favorite style and it is very difficult to find some good Lessons on UA-cam. You remind on my Wing-Tsung Teacher he explain everything so simple, everyone understand what he want to say, like you. But i haven't enough money so i must quit my training. Now my situation is a little bit better and in 2011 open a official Shaolin Kung Fu School ( it's so many more than that ) in Vienna with very good and fair offers for normal people. How ever. I would thank you for the motivation, thumb up. Youre training will be a good preperation for that. Thank you Peacemaker

    I do like one thing here.
    That is encouraging the overall idea that training is not limited to a class or time set aside to "train" consciously.
    It is everywhere at all times. Chances to train are infinite if you just look at the world that way.
    I like that you show this concept here somewhat.
    And that you didn't title this "Win ANY STREET FIGHT with these IRON BONE TRAINING techniques!" or something.

      "humble", because humble people buy their ranks, and pass off "amazing" secrets on the internet that you can learn from a damn book, while dodging/ignoring all criticism, and putting peoples lives in danger for his own money by claiming that what he shows somehow works at speed, all while waxing lyrical about how much effort and dedication it takes to reach his level, through various different types of humblebrags.

    The direct method. Risky at best. Better to strike something that distorts on impact and increase medium being struck as adaptation occurs, e.g., the mung beans, sand/pebbles, iron shot. Should use some "hit wine" as well.

    It's funny but I have been doing this for years at least since my 11 years of age I'm now in my late 40s. My wife thinks I'm nuts still hitting on wood. Most people believe that you get arthritis after years of practice. I'm here to say it's not true. If you do nothing trust that you will get arthritis. I use to have pain on my feet until I started doing toes excersize where you use you both feet on ground and move forward and back like crawling from my toes and heals. It's an old traditional Japanese toe Gripping. Just thought I share this with you all. Great job with the hand and palm training . I really enjoy your videos.

I learn in order to be successful you have to think about what you want. Listening to people say or what they want you will never be successful.

    I used a phone book nailed to a tree. That still hurt like hell when i first started my Iron fist. I studied Hung Gar for 27 years .Now I hit iron hand bags with steal ball barrings . Took me only a few years to master iron fist. You need to soak your hands in alcohol for 5 to ten minutes after that kind of conditioning. Sifu used alcohol and a combination of herbs helps the pain and healing process if you don’t you can develop arthritis or worse later in life. Good luck all don’t forget to soak your hands after. Alcohol will work find until you can find the herbs to mix with it. Go to a china town herbalist and tell him what your doing he should give you the correct stuff to mix in with the alcohol.

    My master always tells me to NOT bounce back after touching the target immediately. Stick on the surface of your choice for a second (like you do @2:35).
    And on each hit think of punching through the target not only on the target. This way you get used to not only snapping, but punching with more impact. This also strengthens your bones to become better / harder.
    What do you think about that?

    • @RealKungFu
      @RealKungFu  6 років тому +1

      bedengler Is your master talking about delivering power to an opponent or Iron Bone training?

    • @bedengler
      @bedengler 6 років тому

      Both! I think that can or should go hand in hand. If you're doing a lot of snapping (or is it called slapping?) and you get into a real fight situation you will keep up your training habits...

    I've been doing this for the last past 2 years before I just seen your video learning how to use a bow staff for self-control but on the other hand I know you're not lying about this technique because in my garage when I got angry or upset I always used to hit the wall with my bare hands and Knuckles and then when I shadow box I did the same things without gloves hitting the wall hard just enough to know I wanted to crack the cylinder block my Knuckles are super strong like iron and can pretty much can go through anything without feeling pain but this was a really cool video and technique I liked it

    I used to do this whenbI was In the Marine Corps. Walked down a specific hallway and would punch the wall as I walked down it everyday with my right fist only. A few months later, I has one hard fist, and the other was a brick.. it works. Also saw this in "Budo". Really works with a little pain😎

    • @curvingfyre6810
      @curvingfyre6810 6 років тому +2

      yeah, but only if your bones are weak. otherwise, your body will stop itself from hitting too hard. just start out light, and work up to get a feel. so long as your wrist is stable, youll be fine.
      also, find a new channel to learn from. if oyur set on kung fu instead of something more widely established in the west like MMA, then look for master wongs channel.

    I made the mistake of teaching this backhand technique to a pimp. Jokes aside, I use a ping pong paddle on my hand to train the fingers etc. Same thing you are doing to the tree etc but instead of being outside. I simply hold the paddle up with the other hand and strike it for my repetition. Works quite well and can be done literally anywhere at any time.

    Hey Jake, what do you think about completely barefoot running on pavement? Do you think it strengthens well your feet and leg bones for fighting conditioning?

    • @curvingfyre6810
      @curvingfyre6810 6 років тому

      DONT. pavement is too unnatural. thats why people get shin splints. if your running on concrete, get running shoes, end of story. if oyu want to condition your feet in the same way, practice kicks in the same way.
      also, find a better channel, this guys a notorious fake in the martial arts community.

    As the pain absorbs into the body. It circulates like energy. Which it is energy. And the body absorbs. Let it absorb. Then come back. And you do it more. Lol. It builds a tolerance. Not just the bones. But the skin. Nerves. And joints. Pain can be our friend. In training. Or in life.
