Thanks for the vid it helped being an 8th grader from a small school who decided to do high school all region a grade early
I'm so happy it helped you!! Congratulations!!!
Yeh
How do you keep your cool when performing these technical pieces? I get overwhelmed while I’m playing because there’s so many notes and my brain is trying to keep track of where I am
Just try to breathe deep and slowly as you get nervous, and remember to perform to "impress the audience" and not to only "play it right." I'm sure you'll do great!! Best of luck!
Just wondering, what was the temp on this
My guess is somewhere around 110ish
Also ours ends on the C A at the end
Yep, I play it at 110 bpm
I was looking in the music and you used a different at 0:44 I found the original sticking to be challenging, is that was preferred or easier?
I always recommend working up the stinkings listed in the music first, then, if you would like to explore other stickings that may work for you better, then do so
@@OdieDrumsthis is so fast, I have all region in a month and this concerns me. It only says 88bpm
@@humanperson-ef5gm I believe that ATSSB has marked the tempo range for the auctions as quarter-note = 110-116. I hope that helps, and best of luck on your preparation!!
On my music sheet it says quarter note 90-110
@@tylerwiseman453 Correct, but if you go to the ATSSB audition etude page, it says they want it at 110-116: www.atssb.org/files/execsec/PercEtudes.pdf
