  • I never had, nor slept in a Hammock, so I want to see what it was all about. Everything in this video is a first for me. No packages were pre opened or setup till the making of this video. Field assembly and building knowledge was my goal. I was totally relying on the companies packaged products. Was everything up to their quality and standards. There were a few hiccups along the way, (factory made assembly issues, like linelocks improperly installed on the shock cords, zero instructions and so on). Yes this was basic faults, but, all played with my mind just the same. LOL. One has to learn as they go and troubleshoot problems on the fly. You got to ask yourself, is testing your equipment important before heading out for its maiden journey. Yes it is! You never know if your product is fit for what it's designed for, or, whether or not all the pieces that are part of the products are actually with the products when shipped, and so on. Test Drive Everything!
    Personal Note:
Yes on completion of my setup, and with a little tweaking here and there. I could of easily spent a full night sleeping comfortably in this Onewind Hammock setup.

Looks like a great setup. I should get something like that. I’ve never tried a hammock before as well. 👍👍

Thanks Don. Yeah after a few nights sleeping on the ground my bones start complaining. LOL So I figured that this winter I'd give a hammock a go.

If yours was like mine the cord kept slipping because the tensioners were strung backwards. Untie the knots and install them correctly to tension the underquilt.

Yep they were are done up wrong from factory. I did think it was me that was getting it wrong. LOL Once I brought it back home to have a closer look I changed around the tensioners and re strung the shock cords. All works fine now. And this is why I always go out and test my gear before heading out for an over nighter and depending on my setups. Thanks for dropping by and leaving your comment.
