Just spent last 5 days in the woods in my onewind hammock. I have the small lightweight one and the two person one. Granddaughter loves to climb in with me. I have top quilt , under quilt, mosquito net, and tarp. Tested the backpackers screen house this time. Was dubious but it worked great. Have been using their products about 4 years now and am happy with everything I've bought so far. Safe journeys God bless

almost all users miss one important detail: the buttons at the upper corners. Snap them together, put them around your neck and with your feet inside the foot box the quilt will always stay on top of your body!
I love my Onewind Top Quilt!

Velcro. Who doesn’t have kit now with the loop patches on to put the “moral” patch on.

Velcro patches. You can move them where you want from pack to hat to coat as you please.

Here in the States, OneWind is outstanding in its pricing and the quality of their products. Definitely for the common man. Great overview. Best Regards

One Wind is a good company to deal with directly. Early 2022 I got top quilt with underquilt for like $86 and free shipping.

It also clips to their underquilt with the poppers.

, plus I have one of their tarps, ground sheet it's really really light material and packs away so small it can go in your hand so yes this company seems to be really good but if you want to really good ground sheet I would go with hike man

    I have a One Wind backpacking sack/footprint.
It's basically a small waterproof tarp with a zip around it so it can be closed up like a sack.
It's brilliant for storing your pack and boots etc, if you don't have room in your tent or bivvy.
It can also be used as a small shelter as it has tabs on each corner also.
    Packs down very very small.
I can highly recommended it. Great quality.

I've had one for a while and can attest to the 5 degrees celsius rating. I did however use it in combination with a really old summer sleeping bag and slept out in my hammock in minus 4 celsius and was very toasty, almost too warm. An excellent addition to a modular outdoors sleeping system.

Hi Neil great video as always .
Either Velcro and or maybe iron on patch would be great. I’d buy both

As my health deteriorates with age my trips out are limited. I like these but for my needs are just a bit too bulky and expensive. I still use an old 1970's "moon bag" envelope style bag opened up as a quilt, with the bottom zipped, it forms a footbox. It packs up and squashes small. I contacted hammock makers about them making a zip in top quilt (like the midge nets are) but no one seems interested. Shame. Good video. Thanks.

I’ve had my OneWind underquilt & top quilt for just over a year. The underquilt is the 4 season, more like Canadian 🇨🇦 3 season. I purchased the version with the snap in blanket which works pretty good, gives you the option of using the blanket with the underquilt or in the hammock as normal blanket. The top quilt works great but my only issue is that if you’re wearing it as a poncho & moving around I find that the cut of the head hole & the back of the quilt being longer it creeps backwards & rub on your throat, so you end up pulling it forward often.

Velco patches please, more usable if you have multiple tops allows for easier change over.

I prefer the duvet feel to a sleeping bag as well, earlier this month I bought a One Tigris down quilt, the warmth rating is down to 5 degrees C, but combined with my One Tigris poncho liner it should do me well for my wild camp on Dartmoor next month…
Sew on or Velcro? Do both!

Hi long term subscriber here... that's a similar pack size to My buffalo systems 4s outer.... sleeping bag... which is far,....far superior... but ,to be fair the buffalo is over £ 200.00
So not really a pound for pound ,fair comparison... ..
But my buffalo has the same thermal insulation performance wet or dry ...
And is bug proof due to the zipped face hood ... .. uk mountain rescue also use the buffalo for hypothermia casualties ...
I suppose it comes down to money ... the buffalo requires zero loft as it's aquatherm extreme pile ...lined meaning it can be fully compressed for years with zero loss of performance. ..
The pertex outer skin is phenomenal btw... I'd like to see you review the whole buffalo sleep system ( rated to minus 100 degrees COMFORT with The SPECIAL 6 wearables included )
I have the entire system and I can tell you it even out performs wiggys from Canada...BY A COUNTRY MILE . ...
Nothing comes close ... buy once ,cry once ...lol
