The Early Development of BioShock (2007)
This is the first time I’ve ever made a video this long. It was surreal, mentally draining, and fun once I completed the project. Of course, because this was the first time I’ve made something this long, there might be some problems here and there with the editing, audio, and maybe even the info presented. It’s not perfect, but I hope to improve the next time I embark on something this long again. I want to do more projects like this, especially for Games, movies or TV; I need time to figure out what. I will also need an editor at some point because this took a long time. Many sources used to make this video, music, and gameplay are present below, so check them out if you want to dive deeper into the game's development history. I would never expect you to make a BioShock video yet it suits your channel a lot, because most of your videos have a dark and mysterious feeling which BioShock also has
Looking back at alot of the art design and overall mood of Rapture, I wouldn't be surprised if Batman Arkham Asylum was inspired by BioShock to some degree

Bioshock was one of the first two games to really hook me, the other being resident evil 4
For me, it was Jak & Daxter and the Spider-Man 2 movie game

There was always something I loved with Bioshock, some certain charm, idk.
Really hope some of the early demos surface online someday. The development of this game is so interesting but some aspects are undocumented. There’s also a few pre release screenshots on the wiki for fort frolic, few other websites have pre release photos for Xbox and weirdly more for ps3 despite it releasing later. I suggest watching the Idle thumbs dev commentary livestream episode for bioshock from around 2013

The Nazi Lab post WW2 version of BioShock is genuinely intriguing, and something I would have loved to have seen and played (either as a BioShock game or as it’s own thing). I never knew that was something they originally had in mind at one point. Honestly, I could see something like this being in a Wolfenstein game or again as it’s own thing. Where did you find the Nazi lab demo video?
Really awesome video, I learned a lot about one of my favorite games of all time. I really enjoy the way in which your videos are made (or the vibe if you will). I think someone else made a comment about how the games you cover match the tone of your videos (mysterious, dark and intriguing). Have you thought about making a video on BioShock 2/infinite or maybe Wolfenstein or any other game franchise?

@@WarpingFist I'm just playing through all the arkham games, I'm gonna start bioshock after, and hopefully get through them all, have heard the third is the weaker link, but I don't tend to judge til I've played it myself, I'm sure it's fine,
