This post season has a chance to be the true arrival of Austin Wells and/or Jasson Dominguez (provided he's eligible for postseason play). Lets say Juan Soto is just his average self, they walk Judge. Then they've got to deal with two young kids with just tons of offensive talent. And those kids are gonna have a lot of RBI opportunities. Plus we would still have Stanton, a tried and tested postseason stud. Jazz in the mix, maybe Volpe gets hot. If the pitching holds up, I think we've got the bats to get a ring. Should be a fun playoffs though with the way the AL has shaped up.
Wtfreaking headline question is that? Of course the Yankees are more then good enough to go deep in the playoff and I'm not even a Yankees fan😂 judge and soto will give them 2 runs per game, all they have to do is keep the other teams to 1 run.
Until proven otherwise, still believe the Houston Astros are the best team in the American League. They are the only AL post-season bound team, whose current roster has a championship pedigree. In the NL, looks like the Padres and Diamondbacks have set themselves up in solid wildcard position. Third spot is up for grabs with the Braves leading the way right now. Speaking of the Braves, they are currently having their alumni weekend. Lots of great players appearing including Hall of Famer Mr. John Smoltz.
@@Adrian-zw6sc Not ditching anybody. Just going according to what I am seeing at the present time. Things in this game change very rapidly as you know. If it is matter of what I would like to see happen, of course being a Rays fan, I would love to see them win the championship. But that does not look like it is going to happen this year.
Dodgers benefited the most by the deadline. They got Flaherty who is a great SP rental, Edman who is great defensive SS/CF/perfect bottom of the order bat being a career .725 OPS hitter, Kopech 10.1 IP with 1 H and 1 BB since arriving, Kiermaier who has been great defensively, and 2 high ceiling low floor prospects for one fringe top 100 prospect, 2 200+ prospects, Trey Sweeney, Miguel Vargas, Michael Flynn, and Ryan Yarbrough. The Dodgers made off like bandits. They got 4 players that can help them win not and 2 prospects that could be something for 1 good prospect, 3 ok prospects, and not a whole lot.
Are the New York Yankees good enough?
Walk off grand slam 40-40!
Shohei!

Teams don't exactly need to pitch to Judge or Soto and the pitching has been suspect.

Weren't you the 🐘 that was on the Guardians / Phils bandwagon... it looks like you've already ditched them before the late summer stretch.
