    Got to love the over exaggerated demo’s 😊 On a rainy day should get your associates to discuss golf methods and teaching pros and cons-probably would be over very quickly. But would love to hear your insights with others who teach, or play at high level, just not “buying in”… noticed one of the fitters is a scratch but has technique vastly different from set up to release. Certainly can be capable with many different approaches. Guess if one is scratch ,one might care less about other methods…????

      Thanks for the kind words Randal - yeh biggest influence on my life were the Australian Institute of Sport, who gave me a different way of looking at the golf swing and performance. From there, it’s been 30 years of discovery making sure I steered clear of disciples and go to the main source. Spent time with all the household names of coaching. Best wishes Stu 😊

    One of your comments that resonated with me was the one about Jason Day and his back problems. As an idea that might be worth thinking about for a future video, are there any other moves that are sometimes promoted in golf teaching that in your opinion increase the chance of injury ( to back, hips, wrists .....) ?

    Thanks for sharing Stuart ... I appreciate you breaking this down into terms of "cause and effect" rather than "forced movements" ... I/m not deflecting from the topic but you mentioned the Faldo era ... Who was longer off the tee with drives .. Faldo or Norman ?

    • @GoodGolfCoaching
      @GoodGolfCoaching  10 місяців тому +1

      No problem at all!! Norman was comfortably longer than Norman, Faldo was very long before the Leadbetter changes. By todays standard, Faldo’s build, akin to a beefed up Bryson, compared to the leaned out version. Make up your own decisions. Different style of golf back then of course; it wasn’t a Faldo bashing remark, just what we were trying to do back then. Hope that helps 😊

    I get the toe to heel heel to to pressure, but does pressure ever go to the outside of either feet or does it stay on the insidepart of the feet in both back down and troughswing? Cant't find any info with you about this and i am not subscribed to anyone else anymore so i hope you understand my question and will clarify😅

    Leave it to Stuart to call out all of the horrible advice we golfers get from coaches who don’t really know what they’re talking about whether in person lessons or on UA-cam. What’s even worse than screwing up your swing are the myriad injuries that occur from the bad advice we receive from these misinformed coaches, regardless of their intent. The secret is finding a coach, like Stuart , which is hard to do, who really knows what he or she is talking about and not some nonsense that is not based on science, biomechanics, and natural kinematic sequence. Thanks for exposing the misinformation that we golfer get and recognize

    • @GoodGolfCoaching

      Thanks bud - I certainly dont want to be a renagade to golf instruction, but I do want to start calling out information that is by far and a way useless to 99% of the golfing population. Our sport is joyous and gives back so much, with the increase in participation, our job is to keep people playing, improving and enjoying. Standby this Friday, I have video coming out from a 2 x 1 hour session with a new client to show whats possible, for everyone. Hope you enjoy. Thanks as ever for your support buddy.

      Guess we all want to get transformational insight for free and no self search to understand and figure out? He seems pretty generous with sharing and showing. He probably learns each day from our comments and wishful thinking. You might be surprised to lean how much you can spend at an extended golf school and how little you actually learn or improve.
