Thats awesome, what kayak did you get ?? Stay safe on the water and good luck out there.
Another great Vid. Can I ask with the sleeper jig how far do you let the jig sink.
It sits right on the bottom.
How many oz jig heads did you use with this 3 inch keitechs?
1/12 and 1/8
With that kind dept, what weight you're using for jighead?
1/8 and 1/12
Hi,
I do land based fishing with bait and want to start learning soft plastics and lures after watching your videos. One thing im confused on is the depth that you should aim to fish. Currently with bait i drop to the bottom and wait, not sure if this is right?
With lures and soft plastics does it need to also hit the bottom before you start the retrieve? Or you dont need to go to the bottom?
It does depend on which species that your targeting but for the most part its the same you let it sink to the bottom then start working it. This vid might be helpful for you ua-cam.com/video/T2zq7GxmngA/v-deo.html Cheers
