Your videos are such a blessing to me. I actually grew 8 corns and watched them grown into a plants. I was so excited to watch them. Your videos helped me to this this process. Thank you for sharing.
I agree with others who say they could watch you for hours. I like your calm energy☺️ And I enjoy how organized and clean you are and how all your plants always look so healthy and well cared for just like your kitties who are absolutely adorable!
WOW Melissa your like a super woman doing all that you do! Responding to messages, watering, propping, and packing plants, being a wife and cat mom, maintaining your household and everything else I didn't mention.😮 Your a real go getter!😊
You didn't continue using your DIY pon mix with "zeolite" Eco Traction and pumice? I commented on your DIY Lechuza Pon video saying that I'm curious how you were going to pull that off or if your going to use the "zeolite" that Amazon sells and mix it into your DIY. By the way ECO traction is a useful substrate but it's not zeolite. I was curious because I really wanted to know where you'll be able to get a good amount (a lot for personal use or in bulk for your shop) of pumice because that has long been difficult to get in the U.S. Yes you can get a 2 lb. bag of pumice here or there but for the most part Perlite is the substitute used for pumice here in the states. And zeolite, well for a while now I've been hunting zeolite (any amount at this point) down and asked many growers (mostly hydro herbalist and food growers) store owners/employees both garden and small home hardware stores that have gardening isles in their stores and they say they've never heard of zeolite and they would mention other ingredients I might be referring to like vermiculite. I told them that I don't know what color zeolite is or what form because I mostly have seen it as a powder or fine grind and I mentioned that it is sometimes used in cat litter but also used for human consumption for health purposes I'm not sure if there are any health benefits. Zeolite for healthy living seems like a scam. I can't remember this one ingredient that I've haven't seen mentioned I think it started with a "G" but two different sources mentioned it (I think I need to go back and ask again). How are your plants doing in your DIY Lechuza Pon? @@plantsbymelissa
They probably haven’t heard of zeolite (one of many forms of volcanic rock) because traditionally it is used in bonsai amendments which has been replacing Akadama because of Akadama’s high cost.
Thank you Melissa for making all your videos! I love love love watching you like everyone else for every reason they’ve already listed! I learn from you and can then care for my plants. Plus, you are so calming to watch. 😊 I too get highly anxious on storms or even rain it’s definitely PTSD. Once you lose power and feel completely helpless and powerless, it changes everything. 😢
Have you considered getting one or two 3" core multi roll tape dispensers? You'd no longer have to keep picking the tape rolls up, over and over again when prepping the cup plants. I see use Uline. They have them. "Uline Multi-Roll Tape Dispensers" Love the double cup method. Oft used in the pepper growing community. Once the roots show you can add a pebble or marble to the bottom of the cup to increase the reservoir size. Dollar store marbles are the best cost ratio. Your plants are packed so amazingly well. I bet they show up to the destination looking great!
I love how much care and attention to detail you put into packing your orders :) Regarding your aroid mix, how did you come up with the idea? Trial & error? It's a great substrate btws! Last, will you be posting an update video on your black velvet pink variegated corm(s)?
Can you share where I might find the clear U shaped trellises for my small leafed hoyas? I can only find clear stakes but really want the U shake to be able to wrap them around several times. As always, I love your videos and can't wait until I can place a plant order!!
For your heating mat for the props/corms, I remember you saying that you put something on top of it bc it was drying them out to much. I cannot for the life of me find the video where you showed it lol could you tell me what you put on top? Thank you and love love love your videos!!
Hey there! yeah I'm not sure which video that was. I might have mentioned it on instagram but it's hard to remember lol. I just put a towel on top. They can still dry out quickly but it keeps it from being so warm. I think next time I buy some I'll get ones with timers/setting that I can adjust.

Lava rock in your aroid mix?! Interesting. Is that for weight or does it have another benefit? Great video as always 💚 thank you!
Love watching this! Do you put your nutrients in your water for these props?
I still haven't been fast enough to get the linearis cutting. 😢 I'll keep trying. When will the next sale be coming up?😊

Does UPS pick up at the door ? I know you can schedule pick ups with your usps carrier….just a thought
I’m sure they do but I live pretty close to the store so I don’t mind dropping them off 😊
