I've been making that for many years! I've started using spaetzle instead of gnocchi and I like it much better! I also make my own version of Zuppa Toscana... I freeze 16 oz portions of all my soups and eat some several times a week for a quick and easy lunch!

I don't like to normally be a critic of people's cooking cuz everybody Cooks differently and everybody likes different things and everyone has a different way of doing things but the Olive garden soup I don't think should be cooked in a crock pot because you have to saute your vegetables and after they're done sauteing you add flour to get the thickness the soup that you made ended up being too thin and watery due to the process not being done correctly maybe next time try cooking it on the stove and you'll see the difference

That looks delish!! I love all the ingredients but as someone who has low iron levels I learned not to mix dairy with spinach because dairy doesn't help your body absorb iron. I know the dish looks delicious, and tasty, I would leave the spinach out, maybe add broccoli??
Iron actually binds to spinach and we don’t absorb the iron. If you’re trying to get iron, it’s better to eat kale. I like to use lacinato kale in soup.

I make this same type of soup except I add 2 to 3 fresh San Marzano or sometimes a few Roma tomato chopped very fine and I sautee the onion first with garlic in a bit of olive oil then the rest. How do you freeze the zuppa? I've never had luck freezing soups with dairy in it. I make that often in the crockpot.

They contain a coating (to prevent caking) that may interfere with smooth melting.

Looks really good, but kinda liquidy. Maybe cut back on the broth a little since there's other liquid in there.
