Good scene. Both sides seem dangerous and good at what they do. Not the bad sort of jobbing Orks often end up doing. And when it comes to Orks, it's always good to remember that they are the only ones happy on 40K, a terrible age of eternal war. Happy Orks means misery and death for anyone else.
@@culturalliberator9425 You could be right. It's the feeling I had, not an objective analysis. My impression was that we saw a small group of elite troops fight another small elite group, and if not for the Karskin + Commissar, the Ork party would have taken the ammunition. Veterancy, Power weapons, grenade launcher, Hellgun and plasma gun were the force-multipliers that allowed them to win over the Orks.
Squad of guardsmen, veterans have a mix of plasma guns and grenade launchers, and an attached Commissar who can 1v1 an ork Nob in melee... what is this, Dawn of War 1?
The schola progenium failed miserably with that commissar. Charging an ork with chain sword in melee instead of just blasting it from range. Who does he think he is, ciaphas cain?
In literally the moment before this, the Commisar had given the woman who saved him the last ammo he had. The whole problem for the Guard in this episode was that they were critically low on ammunition, so he gave her his last mag in hopes that she'd put it to better use... which she did.
In this episode the administrautum shows up to this besieged outpost. The IG was thinking it was send reinforcements or at least resupply but it's the opposite and the Admin takes a bunch of their ammo and equipment to shuttle it off to some backwater logistical planet because "Imperial efficiency". So the situation goes from bad to dire then this battle happens
This I like. Yeah, Orks are technically the comic relief faction, but that's because we see things from their perspective. You see it from the humans side, and you see how scary they are. No Cockney football jargon, just 8 foot tall monsters with the strength of 10 men determined to massacre anything in their way.
It's a real shame the orks here all share the same base model (except for the leader). You can tell by the teeth that they just redecorated the same ork a couple of different times and called it a day
Most commissar are actually charismatic and skilled individuals (see cain, yarrick and ibram gaunt) the ones that act like memetic commissars are rare and are bound to inevitably die in "friendly fire accidents"
seriously, the orks killed basically two nameless guardsmen? I love the Tithes, don't get me wrong, but it's amusing how little we see the antagonists do anything. I just hope the next episode shows something like T'au fighting Aeldari or something, the Imperium is great (to learn about) and this show helped in representation in a lot of ways, but still
You know what this video made me wonder…where do the Orks source their gas station attendant like hats? I mean amongst the trillions strong Ork empires and migrating hordes waaarging their way accross the galaxy, is their a thriving textile industry run by an entrepreneuring grot or gretching somewhere? Do they have cotton plantations thar source the materials for the hats?
Is it just me or did those orcs go down really easy? I remember in one of the books a guy was saying that their whole cns had to be shredded to take one down. Here is seems like a simple shot to the head did it. Maybe I missed something. 0:22 Kinda like here. The orc just laid down after two stabs, my impression was it took more than just some pincushions to drop one, once again I may be wrong. Pausing at 0:43 the lasgun shot goes through his torso, not near the cns, and he just drops dead.
@@leonelimalevu7302 I mean it's certainly a possibility. But it looks like the orc was stabbed and shoved down from a complete upright stance. And since orcs (to my knowledge) weigh as much as a 300-500 pounds, I have my doubts a guardsman's shove could take one down like that. Once again, I could be mistaken and/or missing something. That, or the guardsmen popped a whole lotta bennies before this started.
There is a chance many of the orks survived but got "knocked out" in "15 hours" (short novel) we get told how durable they are and after some hours many of the "dead" orks just rise after healing and scarring most lasgun wounds, so after battle they decapitate and burn the fallen orks
I hate how all these movies have to feature models on sale. I've seen that exact same Kommando nob die TWICE already. I get that these are just glorified ads, but even G1 Transformers was more subtle than this.
It's more likely that the animation studio had the models on hand and ready to go, so it was faster to just use them again. Studios gotta do anything in their power to meet the deadline.
I think what happened was some real Kommandos thought some guard were works because they were green and far off and so the guard turned into ork's and attacked their own base. Would explain why they fought and died like (Real) guardsmen.
It's a beautiful video. I've watched it four times. The guardsmen and orcs fight like the real thing. The reactions and actions are faster and more cohesive than in a dozen space marine videos.

Yeah, this video is lame. The Kommandos act like boyz and die like grots. The Kommandos are worth double the Cad Shock Troops. There isn't a shot of them picking up like 20 Kommandos after taking like one or two dead. Thing I hate about 40k is whoever is the winning team crushes the other guys and makes them look like babies then in the next book you read it's in reverse. It's a big problem and makes the lore hard to get into. It's gotten worse of late though it was a problem in the past most of all with traitors.
The more 40k stuff I see the less I like it, I miss reading about it in White Dwarf and playing Dawn of War back in the day, but 95% of all 40K media seems to be completely Imperium focussed and about how cool and super badass they are.

And when it comes to Orks, it's always good to remember that they are the only ones happy on 40K, a terrible age of eternal war. Happy Orks means misery and death for anyone else.
I don't know, orks got stomped pretty hard. Lost in melee more than once.
The orks died way too easy. One or two stabs and they go down just like a regular human. Very lame, and very sucky if you're a fan of the orks.
I love how two random guardsmen managed to kill an ork with just their bayonet
Seeing the guard stand up to the Orks in close combat makes me very happy. Then it shows what happens when strength 4 connects with a normal human
Squad of guardsmen, veterans have a mix of plasma guns and grenade launchers, and an attached Commissar who can 1v1 an ork Nob in melee... what is this, Dawn of War 1?
Did you watch the episode?
Sick animation on the plasma pistol
Now, this is how you portray a propa ork. Not just them goofy shit.
WADYA MEAN "GOOFY SHIT"!?! WOTZ A GOOFY!? EGZPLAIN YA SELF YA GIT!!!
@@redclayscholar620When dey say "goofy shit", dey mean dose moments where a WAAAGH! iz really fun but ‘as too little propa fight'n' in et to enjoy.
"Sure, just offer me a hand to get up right after that punch broke half the bones in my body."
After watching this, I bought the ork kommando pack from joy toy, amazing
Dang it he came back just to die again
Those uhh orks have definitely been hitting the gym.
That commissary boosted morale indeed
The schola progenium failed miserably with that commissar. Charging an ork with chain sword in melee instead of just blasting it from range. Who does he think he is, ciaphas cain?
In literally the moment before this, the Commisar had given the woman who saved him the last ammo he had. The whole problem for the Guard in this episode was that they were critically low on ammunition, so he gave her his last mag in hopes that she'd put it to better use... which she did.
@@LabTech41 ahhhhhh, that makes sense. Didn't see the whole episode.
@@johnaeryns5364 No problem, it's hard to find this content given the IP protections.
Awesome need more of this!!!
You can tell by the teeth that they just redecorated the same ork a couple of different times and called it a day
You haven’t dropped a full length video for a while. Any coming up soon?
Standing up after 8 shattered ribs is insane😮
I'm almost surprised that it was not a Space marine Tactical Unit popping form nowhere to backstab the Ork Boss, as this type of videos use to show.
Why they don’t have Purple Coloured capes?!
Did anything about these guys strike you like Kommandos?
I like to think the power claw ork did in fact said waggghh it’s just that he said it in orkish so all the human just hear a guttural roar
That's pretty good aim for orks
1:32 NO CHANGE UP, NO CURVE BOALL, JUS' STROIGHT KRUMPIN' GAS
The fuckin administorum ended up blowing the ammo the soldiers were supposed to retrieve.
Its very weird to me that a guardsmen would WANT a commissar breathing down their backs during a mission
Most commissar are actually charismatic and skilled individuals (see cain, yarrick and ibram gaunt) the ones that act like memetic commissars are rare and are bound to inevitably die in "friendly fire accidents"
Better than being shot by the next one for 'failure'
It’s animated better but the sound designer needs to be replaced
How dare you get in the way of the dual I was just about to win?!? *executes gaardsman*

Waaaaagh! Dat Komizar Fought well! Yay Har Har!
Google cound't translate to English could someone help me?
no one kills my men, BUT ME!!!
seriously, the orks killed basically two nameless guardsmen?
Grots sewing it together presumably. Material can be harvested or looted as avaiable, plus there's always squig leather etc.
Yes, the non-screaming waaagh orc commando dies like an ordinary boyz.
OOF, I could feel that punch through the screen.
They were deffo nerfed, gaurdsmen can win against orks but they beat them here like they where just some other humans
@@loganpharis6747 Phew, glad I'm not the only one.
I guess the first ork's death can be attributed to him losing his footing. Then getting finished off by that guardsman's bayonet.
Does the imperial guard get any combat enhanced surgery?
no, best you can get is some cyber implants like a new eye, leg or arm but that's only if your worth saving. The Guard are Canon Fodder
Nope. Just human endurance pushed to its absolute limits.
Contrary to popular belief they do although they're minor biological modifications like increased muscle mass
@@jhonnoilcringeincarnato8593 Do you see the mustaches on the Scions? No way those are natural.
@@culturalliberator9425 i don't get it
Looks like the same ork from the Death Korp Kill Team trailer. Poor sod can't catch a break.
The ork did not open up with "WAAAAAAAAGH!" I disapprove immensely
I think what happened was some real Kommandos thought some guard were works because they were green and far off and so the guard turned into ork's and attacked their own base. Would explain why they fought and died like (Real) guardsmen.
Love to see a proper animation like this with ol bale eye....the 2d one was good but 3d would be oh so sweet.
It's a beautiful video.
I've watched it four times.
The guardsmen and orcs fight like the real thing.
The reactions and actions are faster and more cohesive than in a dozen space marine videos.
That sergeant has certainly done some incredible feats to be handed a plasmapistol and a powersword. Those arent given lightly, not even to commissars.
DEI hire
@@Eomada THe new thing with the lore is that Humanity is starting to die out from the onslaught, so is the evil empire sending the only ones who can make more people out to die? Almost like it's bad writing. Also makes sisters less cool, which is my main issue with it.
Almost like GW doesn't know what they're doing because all the old guard were recently replaced.
@@culturalliberator9425this doesn’t make the sisters less cool.
I believe that sergeant in particular is Kasrkin- the elite fighting force taken from Cadian guard, who are already famed for their skill among other guardsmen. Some of the best human fighters out there, and judging by the sergeant’s kills here their reputation and wargear are well earned.
assuming kill team rules. that commisar rolled so many 6s to parry all of those power claw hits
my god the emperor is with that man
Kommandos would have smashed them great vid though
These orks are pretty weak by ork standards, but I guess that makes the fighting more fun
those orks look pretty small compared to normal humans
Props to the people who made this. The fighting styles are pretty spot on. But they clearly don't understand Orks.
An Ork died to one shot in the shoulder/chest from a lasgun... Nah that's not gonna do it
Those are some of the weakest Orks I’ve seen. Toughness 5 dying to Strength 3
It's hard to take Warhammer seriously when the fans demand that their Universe is unstoppable and nothing from any other universe can even scratch anything from it and then all the media shows orks, nids, necrons get demolished by the most basic weaponry
Single Kommando boyz vs a Commissar? Wouldn't bet on the Ork doing that in Kill Team, and the Nob gave him a right krumping.
@@horriblypink GW is full of idiots. That's your reason.
@@horriblypink 40K's lasgun.. the "basic" gun is the equivalent of a real world .50 cal though.. only a lot more accurate, lightweight and no recoil.
i would love to see a 40K content when Orks win for a change. Its so boring to see them lose over and over and over again
I will be happy to see chaos getting some wins
The more 40k stuff I see the less I like it, I miss reading about it in White Dwarf and playing Dawn of War back in the day, but 95% of all 40K media seems to be completely Imperium focussed and about how cool and super badass they are.
@@user-zp4ge3yp2o Modern 40k lore is trash. It's beyond terrible. Not fun, not interesting, not connected to what came before, it's just bad fan fiction about something I used to love. See Necrons, Space Marines, Ork's, Genestealers (The mining thing is super dumb and makes no sense), Squats (Repeat of the GS), etc. A lot of factions become less and less interesting as they add more on.
Guardsman with a powersword and plasma pistol ... the fuck ? :D
Kasrkin Sergeants get access to all the goodies
1:36 the Commissar's close up spitting blood after being tossed is so damn Anime, that it feels so bizarre looking at it on something that isn't anime.
Still pretty badass tho.
Here though it's meant to show that he's done for. No getting up from that.
Where's the sneakiness? This just made the kommandos look like regular boyz :(
Yeah, I know right. They are supposed to be Cunnin and Brutal not Brutal and Cunnin. Pluss they died to a unit worth half their points in melee, what a joke. And that is assuming they were shock troops which they weren't so it's even worse.
This is why people spit on cringe 40k fans, just...no...
What's so cringe about this animation?
What about this warrants spiting on fans?
This is a commisar you can die for.
They _still_ don't depict Orks with green blood, like in the old lore.
