Getting a 2009 version of this soon, can't wait. Old is gold when it comes to Mercedes. I do agree the paddle shift isn't great but It's not a massive negative. They just feel solid.
I have a 2012 C350cdi…it’s a FANTASTIC car…! Brilliant performance and I can get 60mpg on a run…Just bought. 2021 Alfa….had it for 3 months, similar performance but the Merc so much better as a car, selling the Alfa and keeping the Merc, so easy to drive with the massive torque….Alfa does 25mpg…had the Merc for 9 years, done 100,000 and only had 2 small issues (maf sensor and wheel speed sensor) massively underrated and a BRILLIANT car…!!!
How would you know if you had that option if you bought from a private seller or local dealer? Asking because I’m looking to buy one and there’s one near my area for about 14k with 110000 miles
Thanks for the information. Mine is been delivered this weekend. AMG super sport plus version. White and black with maxton trim all around. Splitter, skirts and diffuser. Like a kid at Christmas..
@eliedisso1420 it's over the odds, but it's in immaculate condition, 19" AMG wheels, body kit, limo tint on back, chameleon tint up front. I think it's been tweaked too as it's a bit faster than stock. Interior is in mint condition too. Was a shade under £10k With 89k miles on it, But I'm happy with it, for the throaty v6 and weight of it the mpg is really good, even when it's been driven hard. Its 40+mpg on the motorway or when driven like a learner.
My E class shares the same engine and gearbox and in normal D when using the paddles its like yeah maybe then changes whenever it wants but I can put it in manual this should also have that then it actually listens to you when you want it to downshift and upshift.
@@ryderm3907 Yes, quite a big difference. In some cases, dpf delete and decat can liberate as much power as the map itself, but usually a good 10-15bhp. It allows the engine to breathe - the quicker it can get exhaust gasses out, the quicker it can get fresh air in.
4:40 I have exactly the same "problem" in my Lexus IS and i dont have panoramic roof. Ive got the lowest seat position but I still almost hit the roof, im 185cm tall. Prob those cars are made for short people 😅😅
Definitely wish i had this engine in my c250 cdi but other than that, rhese w204s are very solid, thats why you see so many around on the roads still in australia
I used to have this but the C250. Was such a beautiful car and was a pleasure to drive. It had an oil leak that eventually lead to engine failure so I had to write the whole thing off as scrap. I’ve recently been looking at getting another one, but don’t know whether to get this year model or a newer one. I can still feel the power on my C250 so I can only imagine how the C350 feels. I’m still not over it 😢
I have the slight older w204 350 estate running 320bhp and 700nm it drives like new and will swallow e300s and all the other boy racers love the humiliation when boy racers get gapped by an estate car 😂 jokes aside that 3.0l v6 is one of the best engines merc ever made in my opinion
Once again great review, Altho I dont like the look of the older C classes, They are quite nice. Side note, Ive got some wheel spacers for the W205 if anyone is interested 2x 15mm 2x 20mm if anyone needs them 🤣🤣
Looks like its only us that noticed. I think there are some models that have an additional button on the dash. I zoomed in on the video and it's going into sport mode.
I’ve got the exact same car in white with dpf delete egr delete and a stage 1 remap.. not sure on bhp but got to be over 300bhp and the torque it produces is ridiculous.
I bought a 2011 swift (newer generation) in January. Very good, economical car. I will get an armrest fitted tomorrow morning at the dealership. I miss a sixth gear (it only has five) and it is not very fast. It is very reliable though. Check for rust and faulty "self realignment" in the steering column. (Don't know the right words). But the car should return to a neutral position with the steering wheel after a turn!
Whenever I see automatic gearboxes changing gears around 1800 RPM and drives around 1300 RPM just breaks my heart. Only downside of automatic cars , they are pretty comfortable tho,

a merc is a merc, still a premium car. i've driven one, loved it.

Hi ! Thanks for share your experience. What I have to see if I’m going to purchase a 350cdi 2015 with 95,000miles? Any suggestions?
I've got one of these, this one is a gorgeous spec. The adaptive suspension option is a must have imo, wouldn't go back to one without it. Cool vid

@@Whaddle31 There is a sport button next to the left heated seat button, and the C-S-M button next to the gear leaver becomes just an M

How much did it set you back

Is it normal for c350 cdi, temp gauge sits on 80 degree?
My c220 cdi used to sit on 90 degree?

15:53 so the W204 Prefacelift was S Torque Converter so yes same but with a different tune. The Facelift got the MCT
Only the AMGs got the MCT, my facelift C300 is a torque converter automatic
I have one of these, mapped and de-catted (303bhp & 679Nm), and it goes like a missile.
Does de-cat make much difference pal?

No issues to report? I would like to purchase my first performance car, thinking of this, anything you’d recommend before buying?

Ulez is wasting soo many good cars 😢
Agree! I’d love but my 3 main cities due to home, uni and work are Bristol, Birmingham and London all require euro 6 😭
Sssshhhh you’re saying something contrary to the agenda!
Ulez is a money grabbing scam
Do you have this car in stock by any chance? Fancy upgrading from the C250 CDI
Sorry this car sold a while ago.
I would love to time my stage 1 Audi A4 Allroad 3.0 TDI V6 on a 30-70. At 300BHP and 615Nm Im optimistic it would compete with plenty of hot hatches.
I got the estate version love it only problem ive noticed is handbrake sticks on sometimes
What do you think about silence during a highways driving ?? 120km/h 140km/h and higher ??
Could u test drive 2017 Audi s3 black edition Quttrao 2.0L when u post like 2 weeks ago pls
If i get time i will. Reviewed a lot of Audi S3's before so it's unlikely tbh. Will add to the list though.
That Prius on the motorway was going

You Need to Push the Button at the gearknob

Same. 303 bhp & 679Nm - 40Nm more than a stage 1 C63 AMG 😁
Is goin stage 1 safe for them?
@@aonzzo9631 had mine done about a year and had no problems at all mate.
@@aonzzo9631 Yeah, they are very strong engines. The come standard at 325bhp in an E400d, which is more than your stage 1 will take it to.
Could you possibly get a small car to review like a suzuki swift please if u can

Was this 4 matic? Great video!
Thanks! Just rwd, makes it more fun haha.
cant even drive this to birmingham due to clean air :(
9:20 Half wit in the middle lane, bugs me.
Can u just stop saying OLD?
Yup I second that, found it super annoying
same
I'm getting a 2009 350 soon and it feels nothing like old.

wtf are you on about. Thats down to it being a diesel car, got nothing to do with it being automatic
