Fab go with the garden both of you . Potatoes are hungry feeders . Toms once they start to ripen the has signals others to ripen but you can eat green toms and can also ripen indoors . Nasturtium flowers , leaves and seeds are edible . Sprouts tops are a great substitute for cabbage. Look forward to more next year . Oh and any veg you are gifted like squashes , keep the seeds and dry them and plant in your garden next year . Thank you for sharing more of Bob to , he was such a character.
We're already looking forward to the next season! Long wait now though... yea next year I will just try and isolate that plant in its own bed as it was blocking out everything else!
@ so glad you are both looking forward to next year and I think your greenhouse is fab . Nasturtiums can get a bit overexcited in growth lol . Mint can take over as well so best ion its own with a restriction on where it can get . Look forward to seeing you both move forward with it all .
Nothing like growing your own. Just remember its all a learning curve. We are learning every day of our life. Definitely right about the taste of your own products. Nothing else like it. The peas would never make it to the plate with me. Be eating straight out of the pod lol. Take Care Both 🙏
Brilliant video Ash. Love the intro. So stunning. Would you like to see some old tractors, oh come on haha. Absolutely 100% Great bits of kit. Love to seeing that 700 turbo in action. Nice to see it up close. Keep Loving the Lifestyle Bud
those seeds are nasturtiums, the seeds are edible, they can be pickled like capers and are a bit antibiotic. All parts of the plant are edible with a peppery taste and they self set every where I sowed them once 30 years ago in my kitchen garden here in Brittany and they have come back every year since. I just weed out the ones I don't want. The dark purple potatoes I grow too. They do have low yields but the skins contain lots of biological useful molecules ( antioxidants etc) they also will come back next year as they are the same colour as the soil and so some always get left behind! This may not happen in Sweden if they freeze in the soil of course!!
I always forget the name of it haha but yes, we did eat it quite often. Although it grows so fast we couldn't keep up! We had a few potatoes come back from last year so apparently they can survive the crazy frost 😄
Great veggie garden that you have growing and making the most of what the soil has to offer. Some of our gardens are the produce shelves in the shops unfortunately. No danger of the tractors being electric anytime soon hopefully but some here are using them and they can have them. Good old combustion and character never loses its appeal.
You work with what you have I guess. Still pretty impressive what people can produce just on a balcony or in windows though! Haha yea, they do have modern tractors also but still use these two classics every year for the hay 😊
Good looking crop all the same. You'll get there! Store the tatties in the dark in hessian sacks (if you can get them). They taste so good when you grow them yourself!
Thanks! We don't have any sacks but we dried them all first and then have in a few boxes under the stairs. So far seem to be doing fine but will keep an eye on them 😊 I don't think I've ever tasted potatoes as good as these!
Ash so good see how you marie and bobski are doing been following you guys long time now since europe then covid nonsense when you went scotland that female weirdo in little van causeing mayhem for you guys cj and lance !.Wishing cj and lance ok hes had difficult times hes a legend though 👍.Its a crazy world were in just now pretty fcukd up and jusr great to see normall people you guys getting on with life and doing great 👍👍👍👍🙂
As I understand tractors, you need more power for different implements with arouy 50bhp being the minimum to run most things but ideally around 100bhp.
So good to see that Bolski's last memories were happy ones. I hope you're both doing ok, they take such a big piece of your heart when they go.
He was always out in the garden with us, especially when carrots were involved...

Thanks man 🙏 haha yea I've definitely got volvo envy 🤣
Nice haul on spuds. Green Tom's make a yummy chutney 😊
We were surprised! Should keep us going for a bit anyway 😊
Volvo bm are quite expensive even if they are old. but it is good quality and there are a lot of parts. they ended in 1985-86. nice filming as always.
I've seen them for not too bad money, around 50,000kr for a nice looking one. Not going to pretend like I can afford that though 😄
great vlog on channel keep up the great vlogs thanks lee
Thanks a lot Lee👍
Your intros are the best 👌 😍
Thanks Sue 🙏
Food you grow yourself definitely tastes sooo much better.
It's crazy right? Makes you wonder how much crap is in supermarket stuff...

Thanks Michael, that's much appreciated 👍
Nice, are those potatoes in the black tub what I gave ya?? Get it all covered with netting!! Hope your both well?
They are indeed! Turned out pretty well and didn't suffer as much from disease as the other ones 👌 getting prepared for the big freeze now...
@@ash.pollard yeah it’s definitely overdue. Should setup a meet up soon or after the big ole frost party

Depends what you want to do of course. We don't need to run much really but a front loader would be very nice and useful.
