  • Memorial off-road trail run in Moab UT, in remembrance of Boulder Police Officer Ashley Haarmann. A fellow ZR2 owner and out door enthusiast who lost her life doing what she loved, hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park on 7/15/2021.
In learning of Ashleys Passing I along with a few others were able to organize a memorial run event in her honor in Moab (March of 2022). 9 ZR2s, 1 jeep traveled from as far as Michigan and Indiana to meet and honor a life well lived. This is the footage from that trip.
Peak Suspension, Colorado Canyon Enthusiats and 589fab all either donated to the go fund me account or donated items to be raffled off at the meet and greet. Thank you for your support. We raised $8,700 and donated it to the Rocky Mountain Conservancy and specifically for the search and rescue team. They were able to buy a new emergency vehicle. Theirs was a 1970s model.
There is a bear box being installed in the large camp ground at the RMNP, a bench with her name on it that will be installed at the Longs Peak Trailhead where she started her climb that day. She also has a leaf in the Beaver Meadows visitor center.
Rest easy sister, your work on earth is complete EOW 7/15/2021, we got it from here 💙
