Always like Mike’s nature walk segments!
fer sure
Mikey shows us easterners who will never see west of the Mississippi about nature. I'll bet he keeps a friendly burro with a straw hat in his yard to keep the weeds down.
Mike needs an Indiana jones hat for his explorations!!
Thank you for the crypto biotic soil information. Lots of people wouldn't know, and some just don't care
The new Mr. Science.
Thumbs up for Mike's biology lesson. Two thumbs up for 'Ol Blue' ripping down the road.
Yea, what a drag race... Don't mess with an old tow truck that has a shiny thingy sticking out of the hood!
The race thingy at the beginning made me laugh for the first time this morning
Every video with Shaun laughing is like therapy to me. 😊
Me too
Don’t worry about the bad comments Rory most people that give you bad comments Have never gotten out of the city
Great job everybody has their own technique screw anybody that don’t like how you do things 99% of us do
👍✊🇺🇸🍺🍺
Saturday midnight in Australia, waiting to pick up my child from their friend's party - Trailmater video. Excellent.👍
I particularly enjoyed Mike’s nature walk and his explanation of what I now understand to be “Soil Cheese”. 😉
He didn’t add that it might take 100 years for it to get that well established. Well aged soil cheese.
First cuppa joe and a big block on the rev limiter! Great start for the weekend!
Man I was just saying the same darn thing! 😂
Right on!❤
We came upon this Yukon rescue as we worked our way into Arches, and ultimately Delicate Arch, in our two rented Jeeps on July 2. We really enjoyed talking with Rory, Mike and Shaun, finding out what happened and why the customer ended up rolling over. We would have stayed to talk longer, but we didn't want to keep you from doing your job, even if y ou were waiting on the Park Ranger to show up with the keys. (We never did see them on the way into the park.) Meeting the tree of you on the job made our day, which was already special as we were celebrating our 30th anniversary at the place we wanted to get married at all those years ago. Ben & Angie
1 thing I ask please don't split up like every other youtube channel and please keep being yourselves all the other channels who promise they will always be themselves end up trying to make it like a tv show and it starts to seem all fake but yall are always genuine thank you guys
I second this!
SOOO very true!!
Me three
Yup : - )
Always enjoy yalls expertise & Shawn's laugh & the way Mike always points out the beautiful nature around you! Thanks for taking us along on another great recovery. ❤
All three of you guys have a great laugh❤
Gotta love when you sit down with your morning coffee and catch a fresh upload.
Doing the same
Or down load. 😂😂
ur mum said thatbsakebthing tobme
😂
Always a good day when you start with a trailmater recovery ❤
Rory set the Tahoe down more gently than he did himself!
Those half doors on blue just look awesome, fitting the paint job perfectly!!
Ol' blue sounds great!!😊
Saturday morning, a cup of coffee and a new vid from Rory, Shawn and Mike............what more can I ask for.
I really enjoyed Mike's lesson on the desert soil. I remember my first time visiting that area and listening to the Park Rangers talk about it. Too many people don't understand why there are trail restrictions or why trails get closed when people violate those restrictions. I read the description.
Yes definitely read the description
Always read the description, you never know what you'll find there.
Biiiig thumbs up for drawing attention to the ecosystem and encouraging trail-only.
8:07 Thanks for the PSA Mike.
The Three Amigos!!!! Always great content good commentary and honestly I think the best part is each of the three is naturally funny and a joker so it’s just non stop laughs on camera lol 😂 keep it going fellas 👌

Nice recovery. I didn't see anything wrong with the way you got the vehicle out. Scuffing the rear tires helped keep it from rolling into the back of Ol' Blue equals no more damage. Nice tip on the soil stuff Mike. Thanks for sharing
Man, it is nice to start the day watching a pro crew working to fix someone else's mistakes. Timeless area. stay on the trail. protect what we have. cause soon enough it will be gone. Be well, thanks for sharing.
Sitting on the throne downloading and watching Trail Mater resent Upload…..Classic. “And the trail provides lunch” as Rory opens the door.
Ive pulled and been pulled out of some stupid situations, but you sir are top of the game for recovery jobs. That is why you are there and they are behind a keyboard.
Rory, Sean and Mike did an excellent job on this one! The customer; not so much. That’ll be an interesting one to explain to the rental company 😂😂.
I'll always enjoy watching you recover these "people" (trying to be nice) from out-of-State that haven't got a clue on how to offroad.
The driver of the rental heard that driving on the edge was exciting. Yup, I bet it was real exciting.
Rory, the only guy to ever play tug-of-war with a winch, and win
That was very clever how you used two winches rolling it back over and holding it from further damage. It came down so softly. I was curious the next steps-which I thought you did very well. Excellent job and beautiful area as always.
Love the nature walks
Just want to add my recent experience with Rory. He’s a genuine standup guy and everyone in the area is lucky that he’s around doing his job. I ripped the frame and trackbar mount out of my jeep coming out of cliffhanger last Sunday. Managed to get a call out to Rory and he came out immediately in the hottest part of the day to rescue us, welded the mount back on and accompanied us off the trail to make sure we made it out. He didnt need to take the call or make sure we made it off the trail. He does the right thing even regardless of the situation. Thanks again for the help Rory, your friends from Washington.
Good recovery plus an educational nature walk segment. I learned something. It doesn't get much better than that.
I love exploring that side of Arches National Park. No lines, no crowds, no entrance fee (I have a lifetime pass anyway). Complete solitude and amazing scenery.
That was the best way to tow it with out any further damage. Amazing video again.
Love your vudeos, your mechanic abilities and family and helpers. God Bless.
3:14 ..DANG..!!!!
I felt that thru the computer screen...
Rory is used to way more traction than that around Moab😮Hope your back didn't hurt too bad the next morning, Rory.
@@shannon136 think he may have slipped on some oil
Thanks for the PSA, Mike! That's an important one to teach folks!
Always love Mike's humorous commentary. Greetings from South Africa
That was a perfect way to recover the vehicle. Great job!
I build race cars so I know nothing about off-road recovery. I do enjoy watching y'all do your thing and the beautiful scenery adds to how great this channel is, but I can't say I could do anything y'all do any better. I did run a roll-back wrecker in the early 90's for a year or two but what you guys do is light years away from conventional recoveries. One thing I can say, being involved with a UA-cam channel myself, is miserable people and haters lurk in the comment section so just keep doing what ya do and don't worry too much about them.
Eggs Ackley. I dunno anything about your channel, but it kind of galls me that you provide free entertainment and then get grief from the peanut gallery. If not fun, then move on and keep your peevishness to yourself! Ha!
Yes I read the description. Not always, but most of the time. Great video, no show for youtube, only doing the job. No crappy music, I like it this way. Greetings from Germany.
Only after I read this comment
Mike, you are a treasure. Thanks for always finding cool bits of nature for us. And, Yes, Rory, I read the descriptions.
Love tool explanations love nature walks with explanations and as always good humor 😊 ❤
The Husband of that Tahoe will never hear the end of this one.
I bet the husband was driving... 😂
Yes, read the description, Rory yours are great that give an overview of proceedings.
The more I watch Trailmater, MORR and FABRATS, the more I hate today’s technology in vehicles of all types. Take me back to the days before electronics. I’ve always wanted a CJ8 Scrambler,, then I saw the Gladiators, but the electronics are nothing but a nightmare, just like in this Tahoe. I yearn for simpler days of the CJs and all the vehicles before computers. Great video and thanks Mike for educating us on the biology of the desert. You guys are as entertaining as you are educational.
Gotta love the old nature walk while waiting on keys bit..... I always read the description...
Big Block Noise makes me smile!
Mater is has his forever charm, but Blue is such a fun looking beast!
Great humor and skills as ever. What can be better? Don't know, it's super. Love your videos and your jobs. Keep up the good work.
Rory always takes great care in not doing more damage the the recovered vehicle, great job!
Thank you! We appreciate you for watching & commenting!
"Oh man, I can't wait for the comments to tell me how I could have done that better"
For me, you did exactly the right things and it couldn't have been done better.
And I am one of those that does comment to point out when you do get it wrong.
Thanks.
Trail Mater team to the rescue of this Tahoe rental that's resting on its side. It won't start and the E brake is on! what a mess but Rory {after his fall}, Shawn and Mike after sharing some interesting information got em out! Old Blue does it again!
We just got done doing Fins and Things and I couldn’t even imagine how difficult it is to get these vehicles off of the trail in these situations. Drove by your shop Friday evening saw the vehicles as we were driving by, these videos don’t do them justice they are pretty sweet looking rides.
I always read the descriptions. Sometimes not until after watching the vid, but I always read them.
I always read them! I enjoy the descriptions for the details of the job each time.
The drag race got me grinning!
Mike, great nature-walk info. Love your delivery and candor. Tread lightly is the motto!... Love the Re-rigging and rock sliding and then you hack the air bag so excellent!
@Rory That was the smoothest upright roll i ever seen & better then guys that been doing it 50 years !
The Blower doin' Blower things!!!.... love it~
I read every description and find them helpful if I have to pause & come back to watch the rest. I can choose where to pause - for whatever that is worth. Thank you for bringing us along!
Thank you Rory , Shaun and Mike for the adventure and a great recovery ! Mike thank you for sharing the information about the area and how to help protect it !
Great little video. Rory doing things Rory's way, and if it works it works.
And then there's "Nature with Mike", love that. And then Sean, well he's the finishing touch with his laugh.
Riding wit you guys for a while now, always do what needs done in best way you can as all present different probs. Haters be damned, y'all do what needs done
Morning Trailmater you guys at it early this morning. Thanks for the video
Thanks for the nature detour Mike, that was a nice little bonus.
Rory.. I like your comment about getting roasted in the comments, But found myself disappointed when I wasn't finding any.. Better luck next time.. But you did get me to look..... And comment.. So well done..
I've looked & looked and I've yet to find a negative comment on any video whatsoever!
I read the comments. Gives me awareness of things to come. Also, enjoy Mikes lessons on maintaining the great outdoors.
Mike, your Midwestern roots are showing, you betcha!
Love seeing the flora and fauna! And the scenery, of course!
❤Thanks Guys❤
And yes, i read the description.
I actually check out the description to see the info in that info area,
To see if I can gain any knowledge of what's about to happen.
It helps ❤🎉
Rock on 💪🏻
Same!
Always love those front wheel digs.
Have you guys considered investing in a bi-communication code scanner? There are plenty of options on the market that will release the emergency brake on modern vehicles.
And thanks for the commentary on the soil crust! You guys are awesome in how you show you can have a ton of fun out in the desert while still respecting the environment.
They didn't have the key
You have to put it in diagnostics mode to release the parking brake. Press and hold until the key light turns green.
Shits annoying af
@@JohnnyD1993 They had the key. Ranger brought it about 1/2 way through
Thank you guys
You speak as though you are previously educated in geology. As a avid watcher, as a pleasure to learn from Mike and Rory. Keep the nature walks,
Rory it doesn't matter how you do the job it's gets done the way you can get it I like seeing the lights, Rory and team you ROCK.
I do read the description. Really enjoy watching you guys.
Best show I've seen today , thanks.
You did a great job recovering that thing WOW
I read it all the time to know what you're going to do and I appreciate to cause I don't know much about the state that you live in cause I have never been there I live in PEGGS Oklahoma keep up the wonderful job you're doing for your customers God Bless you all
I loved the Stay The Trail message in the middle ❤
Rory's Smile when that Motor kicks in is Priceless, perhaps like in Baseball they Had Yogi'isms for the Special Things Yogi Berra used to say , you can do Roryism's for many of his most insightful remarks
Today is honestly the first time I clearly heard Mike's Sconnie come through. Excellent nature walk, and even though I feel like I could handle a recovery on my own after so much awesome tutelage from Rory and Matt, I learn more from unsaid things. Especially since you know from the shadows moving that there were 20-30 minutes of "super salty B-roll material" while they sorted out the Neutral issue. Then a solution and successful resolution.
Once again- we do this not because it is easy, but because we thought it would be easy.
Mike might be the most interesting man in the world.
Yes, I read the description. Simple and effective hookup, it was totally unnecessary to do more, especially for less than a quarter mile. All but a very few of your fans can see that you guys totally know what you're doing. We both know you'll never be able to please everyone. I've learned a lot from you guys, including the value of a roll of electrical tape :^). You have a great team. I really enjoy the cameraderie between you guys, and that you try to have a good time at work while still being professional. I look forward to each new video, and have even been watching reruns lately.
I'd like to see Mike do some travel logs of the area. He could do a whole video series of all of the wonderful things to see in the area. Good job Mike.
Nice recovery, nice drag race and a nice biology lesson, still think you guys have way too much fun, but I'm loving it. Thanks guys.
Thanks for the info on the ecosystem! I learned something new today
Love your channel
Nice recovery. I like your style - you adapt to the situation and get the job done.
Beautiful recovery as always!
Thanks for mention guys! Bee Safe out there. 😉
Glad to see the caution tape kept everyone safe.
It’s to indicate it’s been checked and dealt with. Saves extra 911 calls for no reason.
I loved Mike's little biology lesson, and I now realise I've seen similar dirt here in Australia in some of our drier areas, but I'd never put much thought into it before.
I'm also impressed with how easily Old Blue handled that Tahoe. That's not a small car, and I had thought you might struggle to get it where it needed to be.
Never have bothered with the description. Had to go there this time to see what peeps were talking about.
Just wanted to comment that you could have done that different. Not sure why, but you prolly could've.
Awesome vid as usual, thanks.
Have fun all.
I wish I could like this like 12 hundred times !
So good!
nice job as always, really liked the nature talk. and I do read the description usually, have a nice weekend.
I always read your descriptions! It adds context to the video even before watching it!
Oh yeah! Ol Blue sounds incredible! Great opener. Adrenaline boost for me right away. Thanks. :)
Excellent recovery by the MoabMachine.
