- I’m super excited to make this install.
The IAG AOS is a must have for all VB 22+ WRX
Daily driver or race car this is a must!
Install was significantly easier than previous generation AOS installs. You can really tell a lot of time and effort was put into the engineering and design of the IAG AOS.
Custom adapters and quick disconnections make install a breeze!

Stay tuned for more 2022 WRX Content!
Super clear video, you have a talent for explaining/demonstrating. Think you might have swayed me to choosing this AOS, I was a bit put off by other install vids.
Install should be even easier now with their new quick disconnect fittings! If you have any questions let me know
Another great install video. Thanks for taking the time to show the step by step. IAG really make great products and I’m looking forward to adding this to my build soon as it’s released.
Thanks for watching! They really do make great products.
Fantastic video. Now I completely understand why the AOS is taking so long to release. The custom new fittings that replace the OEM connections would come into delay play. Wish IAG communication for the delay was posted on their page but sir you basicly answered it.
This kit looks like the most refined AOS IAG has ever released. 👍
Thanks for watching! Its worth the wait for sure. Should be out very soon!
It seems like every install video just glosses over the most important piece which is cutting that OEM line lmao
Great information in here overall, more detailed/easier to follow compared to IAGs own video. Just been hesitant to do mine for fear of screwing up cutting that OEM line/not having all the tools (like that 24mm socket) ready to go
V nice install. IAG makes some great stuff
The best!!
Hell yeah Joey thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Great vid as always
Thanks for watching!
You live in carolina beach??
I also have a vb.
I live near ILM in Wilmington! I see a few VBs around town.
@@JoeyMontalto haha me too.. i drive the red vb with swan neck spoiler..
I’m grabbing an AOS and changing the oil type after factory warranty.. what can I do to clean out any old carbon/ oil build up ..
Great video! No bleeding coolant?
I did not have to bleed. I lost almost zero coolant, very little. I added alittle to the overflow and never had an issue
Hey man, have you run into any issues over the past month with your strut tower bar hardware on that side? I'll probably be snagging one of these for my Legacy XT but that's my only concern. IAG didn't confirm fitment for the XT's or Ascent but I can't see much of an issue watching this install.
Hey thanks for watching! I have had zero issues with the strut bar hardware on either side
Hey Joey. Great content! Quick question do you have to part/model number for this AOS. Looking IAG, and can’t find one that’s specific for the 22 wrx. That would be greatly appreciated!
The AOS is not released yet but very soon! IAG sent unit out to test and make an install video. Part number will be IAG-ENG-7183BK for the black one. They should be posting very soon for the official release date
@@JoeyMontalto Awesome. Thank you so much!
Great video. This is next on my list. I have the top mount ETS so I’m sure it’ll be a little more difficult to install but totally worth it.
@@JoeyMontalto so, that means Cobb will have one very soon as well to follow suite.
@@WrxyDriven82 yes, since IAG makes Cobb’s AOS you could expect Cobb’s release shortly after IAGs
Does this work with stock and aftermarket tmic? Seems like you used the oem tmic bracket to mount those lines. Plus where the can is mounted.
Yes this is designed around the stock intercooler so there are zero fitment issues with a tmic.
Great video thanks. Do we know when they are releasing this?
Preorders just started!
Love the content Joey, but please stop looking at the camera screen and look at the lens lol. Makes it really awkward when you have the camera pointed at your face.
With that being said, I'll definitely use this video as a guideline when I install my own!
👀👃👀
Do you think this setup could cause some issues with a very cold climate? Or should I stick with a catch can? We got alot of sub 0 temps.
You will have more issues with a catch can in colder climates because there is no coolant flowing to a catch can. Catch can will freeze for sure as liquid sits in the can.
With the aos there is nothing sitting in the can as it auto drains back into the block.
That being said I have seen IAG post when it’s extremely cold out about letting the coolant temps get up before driving so the aos heats up.
@@JoeyMontalto thanks, yeah makes sense ... looking foward to get one of those! I guess fitment will be tight with my ets top mount 😅
Just discovered your channel btw, looks great! Subscribed!
@@jerwrx22 thanks for watching! The IAG aos was designed around the oem tmic so it should fit the ets or Cobb intercooler
I would like a video of the install with stock intercooler.
Hey thanks for watching. Install would be the same. Just remove the stock tmic and go from there. I have a few installs on my channel removing the Intercooler. Check out my IAG pitch stop install for the Intercooler removal.
It’s a 27mm, not a 24mm for that PCV valve. Heads up guys
Deep socket … not regular 😢
Any news on when this will be available?
I would like to go aos over catch can but the aos looks really heavy
The benefits of an AOS greatly out weighs the minimal weight added over stock or a catch can setup.
Does your vehicle need a tune for this part or can I put it on fully stock?
Also is the 2015 to 21 wrx iag aos kit work on the 22 model?
A previous model aos will not work as the fittings are different. The 2022 use custom fittings specifically for the 2022 wrx. No tune required if you install a 2022 wrx IAG aos on and 2022 wrx.
@@JoeyMontalto when will its be avaliable to buy?
@@jamesharless6103 very soon
@@JoeyMontalto thank you
dealer said voids warranty in CA
Cali doesn’t let you have anything. Would never want to live there.
Not a fan of IAG. Keep hearing bad things
I only have positive things to say about their products. Never had an issue.
Great video, you kind of sound like Donald Trump lol
That’s not a compliment
@@atweber it was a statement of observance. Not meant to be a compliment or anything.
It is not available yet but when it is I am getting it. Also please check out my current VB Blue build @HisChronicles
