I'm already sold on this game. However, only when I have my Series X, because I want to play this at 60 fps now.
PS5 version already been announced to support 4k at between 60 - 100fps, no news on the series X.
@@34sld The game will support Smart Delivery which means it will be upgraded for Series X as well. Obviously with the same specs, so I expect 60 fps.

Is there a more detailed option for pace notes? Co-driver only announces the turns and there is nothing else like bridges, lenght of straight roads, cambers, information whether a turn is unseen etc. Without these infos the stage is not clearly depicted in my head.
If I remember WRC 7, there was a feature about "Pace Note Detail". You could set it to use more detailed pace note info, or just simple one. I remembered they actually add Note 7, 8, 9, and Flat for 10! Very impressive!
I just hope they have that for this one.

Ok this is officially strange, EVERY video about WRC 9 I see on UA-cam seems like recorded on a very low bitrate even if output is 1080p and 1440p, is it fault of the built in replay feature?
Try to watch the video in 4k. UA-cam made some changes and now 1080p quality is really bad. And 720p is no more HD.

Finally. Its taken them ages but they finally have better lighting and better...not great but better car audio. I've heard WRC cars drive past me and your ears get assaulted I need to have that in the actual WRC licensed game I want to feel and sound like I'm actually driving one not a weak toy car with tiny angry flies in my exhaust pipe so they finally have got better audio its just sad its taken this long to get here.

If we compare with the WRC 8 stages,unfortunately they are the same notes.Only the voice of the co-driver has changed.

I cant see any differences between wrc8 and WRC 9. Still medium driving reality, and average engine sound. The graphic is the beast side on this game.

Seeing’s yourself improve, play online, drive fast without accidents are probably reasons I play it.
The gameplay loop of trying to maintain speed and keep the car on course is just very fun and there’s just no limit to how good you can get.
I think I might like these calls more than Phil's in dirt rally

Well, current WRC cars are much smaller than those we all have in our heads (Impreza, LanEvo...). They're based on compact cars, since Sedans and Coupe barely exist anymore.
Pretty sure you can adjust the chase cam in settings. They probably adjusted it a bit.
Looks nice and I like the track variety. But the buildings still look a little basic and although better the lighting still looks a little dated comparing to Dirt 2.0. I think Dirt 5 will be the one to buy.
Dirt 5 is a arcade racer my g wrc is a sim so I cannot compare
Also, Dirt 2.0's over-the-top lighting is not realistic at all, dated or not (its one of their weaknesses for a lot of us actually)

It's just fake, over-the-top lighting. You may like it, good for you, but it's not realistic at all (it doesn't have to be though, preferences...)
They did it like that because nowadays most people (especially younger people) use and enjoy filters in social media, everything has to be enhanced, realistic looks are too dull for them, and so on and so forth...
Most TVs come with extra saturation, contrast, etc etc by default. I always have to tweak them in every new TV to look more natural

@@mickaelsass1121 The sound of the Hyundai in this video is the same as the vastly improved Fiesta you've heard. All the WRC cars are sharing that sound in this build (Press v29.3, top left corner) from what I've heard in other videos.
