I can't believe that was your first how-to video! It was so clear and concise - thank you!!!
Excellent how to play video. Appreciate the clear and concise explanation!
I have just got my game. Thanks for the tutorial.
Glad I could help!
Found you from this video. I'm subscribing because it doesn't cost me anything and my significant other is a fairly new reviewer of boardgames, so I know how hard it is to get a channel up and running.
Personally, not really interested in unboxing videos which is a lot of your content, though I understand the ease of which unboxing vids can add to content... just from watching this video, I would say you excel at how to plays that remain short and precise with that slideshow effect. Editing being the most challenging part I presume?
Guess what im getting at is that I want more how to plays that follow this video. Looks like your second most viewed video is around half as watched as this (probably because it's an older game/ it's 3x as long) which tells me that your other viewers feel the same.
Keep up the great work!✌
Just got my copy and so happy to see a short and sweet tutorial. Much appreciated!
Also, well done, going to check out your Fleet The Dice Game tutorial too. I really do think the short and sweet rules walk-throughs are a vastly unrefined market in the creator space. Hoping all is well with you and yours and really looking forward to seeing what's next on tutorials because you've got some amazing games in the unboxing category.
Thanks for the kind words! Working on another now. Doing some of my smaller games for now to get my feet wet with this format before I tackle anything bigger and heavier.
Great tutorial!! Clear and straight to the point. Great job and thank you for posting!!
Nice rules summary! Well done!
Glad you liked it!
thanks for putting this together
Great How to Play video. I am hoping to play it next week with my students.
How did it go with your students?
@@smallworldgaming5413 They have really enjoyed it. I have played it with students as young as 9/10 yrs old and with my Jr High age students. One class spent an extra 10 minutes after class making their favorite pictures without regard to any scoring conditions.
Thanks for a great tutorial! I've just gotten the new Kickstarter version and the new expansion. Looking forward to play them :^)
Hey ! I got my game, it's very nice ! And thanks for this tutorial, very useful... :) I have a question : must the title of the painting be complete or can we make a painting with just one word title ? Thanks !
The rules don't specify anything about the names, just that it has to be three cards. So you can have a one word name. It just won't sound as pretentious. ;)
@@smallworldgaming5413 OK, thank you 😊
Niceeeeeeeeeeer
Are the backgrounds supposed to be random or do players choose them?
You can choose them. Other than being pretty the backgrounds have no significance to scoring or anything else. Pick whichever three yuo like the best!
@@smallworldgaming5413 Thanks!
Regarding the scoring. You said each bonus ribbon is worth 2 points. Then you say the 11 bonus ribbons on the screen got you 6 points. So were they actually worth 22 points or should you count 0.5 points per bonus ribbons and round it up? I’m a bit confused.
The gray ribbons are the Bonus Ribbons. So those 3 are 6 points. The other colored ribbons are specific to the scoring card laid in the matching colored spot on the board. So in my scoring example the two red ribbons correspond to the Emphasis card, purple to the Proximity card, Green to Variety, and Blue to Symmetry. When you look at the board (go to about 00:35 in the video) each of the spaces for the scoring cards are colored with a ribbon of that color above the space. On the right side of the board is the gray space for the bonus ribbons which shows the 2/ribbon reminder. Hope that helps!
Where is the video of Reflections?
