On point, the art is just not important, players are just looking at the symbols and trying to get the most points by achieving the best combinations. There are plenty of other games that do the same and much more.

Awww I was super excited about the game and your review just ruined it 😭🤣hahahahahha.
I'm glad to have watched this video before buying it though, you've just saved me 30 bucks. So thank you for that 😂
That said - Ughh it looks so gorgeous that a part of me still wanna buy it hahha

Hey! A lot of people are not having the disconnect between the art and gameplay bother them at all, and they enjoy the game. Maybe you are one of them?

Yeah, a serious painter may not appreciate the game. I painted for leisure. But I am not a serious painter.

Listening to what you say and listening to the way you say it - MAN! You just feel your disappointment in the game.
The internal struggle of "I really like how it looks" and "but I don't get to see all the beauty", really shines through your review.

seems like it would be better as a "dixit" type of game than a euro

YES! That is a very very good point. When are you designing one? ;)

@@gruntsudens I'm very tempted to buy the game just to homebrew a variant where you play it like apples to apples but for art.
