Hackney is a gentrified mess. The gentrification didn't quite work out in this part of town. It was better before. The people were rough but friendly and more community orientated. When I tell people under the age of 30 these things, they don't believe it.
Nowadays, in Hackney, primary schools are closing down at an alarming rate. This is because they priced out ordinary residents.
