I’m a firm believer in not buying a bunch of excess stuff to jam up your suitcase and scouting the thrift first to find stuff, particularly suitcases, bags, and zipper pouches. It’s all there, except for the ikea hat
Such a great well seasoned traveler tip! Thanks for commenting. Appreciate it! Sometimes the best packing advice is to bring less. Do you have a go to suitcase or bag that you use? I am always interested in what people like to travel with.
Great ideas! >>One suggestion for the kiddos clothes: organize/group each full outfit (like you did), but instead of placing each outfit into the bulky organizer ….put each outfit into separate Large Ziploc bags (press out the air) & write on the outside of the Ziploc bag the *name of the child & day the clothes are to be used*. Also, the kids can put those dirty clothes back into the now empty Ziploc bags at the end of the day 1) so the hotel is not messy with the kid’s dirty clothes everywhere & 2) Because the clothes are sealed in Ziploc bags it does not dirty/smell up their suitcase. [I take a mini sharpie with me to write on the bag “Dirty” so there is no confusion.] When you get home, ask the kids to collect all the Ziploc bags that have “dirty” written on them & take them to the laundry area for Mum/Dad to sort. 👍 Helps them be responsible, involved & teaches them packing/organizing skills. >> Ikea’s Clear mini Dry Bag: I use it as an “ice pack” if someone gets hurt (kiddos) - fill it with ice from the hotel’s ice machine. Also put Soda cans in it (with ice) in the hotel room to keep things cold if hotel does not have a fridge. I love watching your channel grow!
What an amazing comment! I love this idea. If we use it in a future video I will be sure to give you a shout out. Love the idea of having the kids more involved when it comes to packing, unpacking and learning a few responsibilities along the way. Keeps things easy, clean, does not smell up the room. Such a great option. Appreciate you being here to watch us grow. It means a ton! Thanks again for the amazing comment and travel tip!
Another thoughtful comment! Thanks so much. Great travel tip also. Love the idea of using the dry bag as a wash bag while traveling. We are always looking for ways to do a little laundry while we are on the road. IKEA has great prices on that type of gear. Appreciate you!
For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
After years of buying luxury travel things, I have replaced them with very lightweight, foldable travel accessories. They take up less space and less weight, which means I might be able one day to travel with just one carryon and save money having to check my bag.
Your videos come across like an on the streets reporter. Bringing the truth to the people straight from the ground. Favorite new channel and I look forward to new vids!
Love a good suggestion! Thanks for the idea. This would be a pillow you travel with to use instead of a hotel pillow? Thanks for subscribing it means a ton!
I'm proud to say I have never been in an IKEA store. From what I have seen at other's homes their furniture is cheap particle board junk. I would expect their other products to have the same quality.
@@themoretruthfultruth The good stuff is expensive. :) If you want a bargain, then yea, it's cheap particle board but it is sturdy. The good stuff is there, you just have to pay and look harder :)
Ikea poncho also very useful ... Doubles as pillow and as a mat for sitting on wet ground.
Love a good duel use product from Ikea! Thanks for the thoughtful comment!

@@JustBookedItI 🩷 TravelPro suitcase, I have mine for almost a decade & I travel a lot😍
Small backpack (personal iten size) and simple duffle (carryon size). Only way to beat the 7-8kg weight limit
I didn't know they had a travel section. Those waterproof bags and packing cubes is exactly what I need at a better price than what I was looking at.
Awesome! Glad this was helpful.

lovely ideas!! you sound like a teacher haha (i mean that as a huge compliment btw)
Collapsible bucket is also perfect for camping 🏕️
Yes! Probably even better for camping trips as it would take up a fair amount of room in a suitcase. Thanks for commenting!
The dry bag will work to wash your clothing. Add water and detergent (including sheets), roll around in the shower, dump soapy water for rinse water.
Another thoughtful comment! Thanks so much.
Great travel tip also. Love the idea of using the dry bag as a wash bag while traveling. We are always looking for ways to do a little laundry while we are on the road. IKEA has great prices on that type of gear.
Appreciate you!
Well this was fun! Things I’ve never seen👍🏻
Thanks so much for the kind comment! IKEA is a great spot for a few non traditional travel items.
The best fluffy inflatable neck pillow I ever had was from Ikea.
Love it when I find a good travel item like that!
I've never used bungie cords when traveling (and I can't find those on ikea's site). What would use use them for?

Didn't talk about the shoe bags or highlighted the hat, which comes in so helpful instead of having to hold an umbrella
Ah the shoe bag is a great travel item. Sorry I missed that. Thanks for commenting!
Just subscribed. Excellent video. Could you research travel pillows, not the neck ones for planes but one for sleeping in hotel????
Love a good suggestion! Thanks for the idea. This would be a pillow you travel with to use instead of a hotel pillow? Thanks for subscribing it means a ton!
@@JustBookedItexactly!!! The pillows at Universal Studios Orlando are a lumpy mess with no support
This was a very good travel tip video and we LOVE IKEA, but, those meatballs are a bit overrated.
Yes I hear ya! Appreciate you watching and commenting. Thank you. IKEA is a great spot to find deals!
Try the vegetable version
If he actually travels then he wouldn't be buying his gear from IKEA.

IKEA actually has some good stuff but it’s not cheap
@@Nalabug Do you mean not inexpensive?

@@Nalabug It's all particle board junk. Even the "good stuff". Idiots have forgotten what good quality furniture looks like.
