Robin is a pastor as well as a theologian, and he brings a wealth of practical experience to this huge question. Man oh man! You are saying things I have been thinking and feeling for such a long time. Thank you for all these videos you have done. Another point that can be made (not sure if you made this one or not) but if the "good news" is that a few people will be with God but most people will be in hell forever and ever, isn't that the worst news imaginable? Where is the goods news in that? As far Universalism making people not feel the need to help other people become Christians, I think this is exactly the opposite. I have been so fired up about the possibility that Universalism is true that I can't help texting everyone interested in God these ideas! I am excited. What is hard is trying to help people become Christians when they ask about how could a loving God send so many people to hell! So anyway, thanks for all this! Another strange thing I have run into is the thought that if I get to heaven, I am going to spend eternity begging God for all those who are lost. The next thought I have is, do I love people more than God?
Wow! I am so happy i've found you! Are you in England? I am Italian, but i live in Yorkshire, UK for many many years. It is already a few years that universal salvation makes so much sense to me in relating it to our God of Love ! I have discussions with Christians but they seem to be so stuck on defending the doctrine of eternal hell-fire and punishment ... that i recoiled of such hardness of heart... yes, God is also has justice and punishments, which, actually are already integrated in the laws of life and we pay the wages of sins already by the consequences we reap, but we do learn so many precious lessons from it... in fact now i am developing my "theology" about sin and evil... ( although we all wish to get rid of it..) i see that sin and evil it was and it is still necessary for the growth of our souls, therefore i now feel confident to say that sin and evil it was in God's plan. ( there are many sensibile reasons for that). I could talk for hours, and i do talk about it to some Christians who are open, also of the possibility (i feel it strongly because i believe it) that even the fallen angels shall all be restore at one point in God's perfect plan; i have Christians really getting very self-righteous with me with indignation about that, and they reproved me. But the more i go on with life, the more my beliefs in universal restoration grows. I receive many insights, and i love to dig into the scriptures of the Bible and other insightful scriptures to make a foundation for universal salvation. I did 2 years studies and i have qualification to teach "catechism' ... my dream would be to get a degree in theology... all so i could spread the wonderful news of unversal salvation. Salvation of all is a beautiful message. God's elect have the privilege of experiencing the lake of fire baptism first. It is the process of being adopted as sons through much chastening and scouring as we go through many fiery trials in the furnace of affliction. It involves much testing to make us obedient as the vessel of honor is being made on the potters wheel. This process of judgement is grievous but yields the peaceable fruits of righteousness. It is being born from above with the wisdom from above guiding us. It's Christ IN us as we experience the High Priest of the new covenant as the Good Shepherd as we eat from the table of the Lord. When we are in the carnal church system we are eating from the table of devils in the synagogues of Satan. Satan is the father of lies. We eventually overcome the mark of the beast and stand on a sea of glass, no longer a child being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. We eventually are clothed in white raiment having the righteousness of the saints. Thank God for his tender mercy as we are made into the fullness of Christ, unto a perfect man.

And even though unbelievers, like christians, atheists, etc., are currently enemies of Yahweh, of the cross, of the Truth, Who is Yeshua the Messiah, they are yet still our brothers and sisters in an Ultimate, Absolute sense, because Yahweh will open their eyes at some point also, like He did in us early.
So although we may be first fruits, early, first hour workers in the Vineyard, ALL of the workers, whether first hour or last hour, are all rewarded with the same wages, and that is incorruption and immortality, in the End. And so the Story Ends well, even though over 99% of the world are not aware of this Fact whatsoever at this time, in the current evil Age. They have not yet been shown the Stages and Ages of all of this, and that if people are NOT saved in this current Age, but destroyed, die in their sins, etc., that it’s only temporal, and not eternal. Amen brother. This is the Real Good News! :)

Patristic Apokatastasis Death is a loser. Death loses, Yeshua (Life) Wins. That’s how this Story goes. Anyone who loves death, and glorifies it, and believes that death and sin get the eternal victory over Yahweh and His Creation, as virtually every christian does, is very much mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the Power of Yahweh. But one Day, He will reveal these Truths to all men, instead of just a few like He is doing now.
He did say that. But it’s the when that’s you might not have seen. What do believers look like in this fire. Schadrach, Meshsch, and Abednego. Dancing around with the Son of Man. For Jesus said everyone will be salted with fire. Mark 9:49. If you think the lake of fire is literal flames. You most likely have it all wrong. It’s his presence on this earth. The world has been set ablaze with the love of God. And in those who are rejecting it we see weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Ultimately, God solves, or resolves, the question of life over death, but in the meantime, while we are here, He gives instruction that we have things to do. And not that those "things" determine our place or standing in eternity -- that question is God's business. "Our" business is that we are given hundreds of exhortations and innumerable impressions (we can call them promptings of the Spirit) that lead us into a particular manner of life, not least that of entering into a death of self, called "the dying of the Lord Jesus." 2 Cor. 4:7-11.

God has allowed evil to prove to humanity that we are "desperately wicked" (Jer. 17:9). Because He gave us 100% power over evil through Jesus (James 4:7) and even born again Christiand have still chosen to do their own will rather than submit to God. It's a similar lesson He's giving us with the millennial reign since as many as the sand of the seashore will follow Satan when He's released.
Total Depravity is not of God. Love your neighbor AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF!!! Mankind's inherent goodness is not entirely destroyed by original sin and God finds value in even the worst of us.

Volodymyr Volf Shalom brother. That word there again is “aionios Life” or aeonian life, life in the 1000 year Messianic Kingdom Age to come next. Not speaking of Life overall. After the 1000 years, the second resurrection takes place. Then some die a second time. But then death loses and is abolished forever as the last enemy. Only a small percentage ‘have life’, have the Son, and are chosen for that in this current Age. That’s just the way Yahweh does things. Just like He chose David over his brothers, or Joseph over his brothers, or Abraham over his brother, or Moses over his brother or anyone else, or Noah, Daniel, Paul, Peter, John, Isaiah and on and on.
Only a few good men for now. The rest will come later. First fruits first, but all the harvest shall come in in the End. That’s the Good News.

Man Versus Matrix Yes sir brother. But that would not matter anyway if one knows Who Yahweh is, and what His Law basically is. It is a High Crime, and certainly a “sin”, to punish people for their “sins” with an unlawful punishment. The worst punishment for “sin” in the Bible is the death penalty. Yahweh is NOT at liberty to later break His own Law, violate the lawful Judgments, and torture people alive forever instead. That’s not only wicked beyond words, but also Sinful.
So anyone who believes such nonsense does not know Yahweh very well at all, for He cannot sin, not once, not for a moment, let alone for eternity. So that whole “eternal torment” lie is illegal for Yahweh to do, not that He would ever do it anyway. Of course we know He wouldn’t, even if He was allowed to by Law. But He would never make a Law in the first place that would contain such a wicked judgment. He IS Love, and the 2 greatest commands in the Law are based upon Love.
So, because christians do not know Yahweh, they make Him out to be an Eternal Sinner. Is this possible brother? Is it possible for Him to be a “sinner”, especially an eternal one?

Only Universalism and Annihilationism can be true theologically because in the end God 'will be all in all', no evil will exist. The Scriptural witness leans very heavily in favour of Annihilationism, whereas the texts in favour of Universalism appear to me to be quite weak. I find Universalism is not a bad idea, it can be attractive even though it suffers from some serious issues, the problem is it doesn't appear to be true at all.

Read a LITERAL translation of the NT. This would be a direct, accurate translation directly from the original Greek text. You will see that it clearly says that punishment is corrective and limited. Punishment would not be corrective if the punished people are then annihilated. God bless.

Good news: The same God that sits above us on the Throne, is the same God that is everywhere, and he was manifested in the flesh! God's will, will be done on and in earth as it is in Heaven. He has commanded everyone to repent (Acts 17:30), therefore, everyone will have a new heart. (Ezekiel 36:26-27)

@@magi144 How did you come to that conclusion? Why would Jesus say one must be born AGAIN, when everyone already IS born of water and Spirit?
It’s born from above. Which is why it’s only found in one verse in the Bible. Because Nicodemus was familiar with the scriptures. And would have seen Deuteronomy 32:18 which tells us we are already born if God. Which we have forgotten.
How has Robin Parry abandoned the faith? He has the same faith as Jesus and the apostles. He only says that everyone is included in God’s plan of redemption. Did you even listen to all he said here?

@rickorider "Why bother"? Because Jesus commands us to because of HIS Love for us and through us ALL people. Hell is real, and though it's not eternal, it's horrific beyond anything on earth and beyond our imaginations. Why would we NOT do everything in our power, including martyrdom, to try to keep people from going there??

Jesus clearly told his disciples a parable, then he gave his disciples the meaning of the parable. A child can read these verses, and understand clearly the implications of these verses, that they are very serious, and shows very serious consequences.

All that scripture quoting without context and without explanation. All those verses are support and are compatible with Christian Universalism.

Scriptures without context will lead to wrong. Everyone can do anything with a scripture out of context.
The bible, by It's very nature, is a piece of literature. Basic concepts of understanding literature; context, subject, setting, among other things.. you know, what you learn in school?
"It's special" that's a non argument.
While yes, it's special, as in it's the Word of God, it's also a piece of literature. The fact it's special doesn't nullify it's nature as literature. Every verse can't be taken by itself, and every chapter can't be taken by itself. BECAUSE OF CONTEXT.
You can't pick and choose verses like that. You are setting yourself up for formulating the wrong interpretation.

Calvinism: God is cruel.
Arminianism: God is weak.
Trinitarian Restorationism (Evangelical Christian Universalism): God is Love.
If one dies as an unbeliever or not a genuine believer, he will suffer torment in the outer darkness, a holding place, for an eternity-like time, as this person has no idea about the things of God.
At the appointed time he will be brought out of it to face the white throne judgement.
If his name was found in the book of life or Christ Grace and Mercy is in effect based on the deeds he had done accdg to the records on the books that will be opened, or he calls upon the name of the Lord, repents, and beg for His mercy, he will be saved. Otherwise, turning out to be arrogant (did I not prophesy? Blah blah) and accusing and cursing God of being unjust for letting him go through the torment in the outer darkness,, he will be thrown in the lake of fire to be totally destroyed and will cease to exist.
Eden then will be restored, and rebellion will be no more, as people learned from their refinement experience in the outer darkness, and seeing the smoke of destruction rising forever from afar as a reminder.
