I was absolutely shocked when I got a great vault notification pop up... I have never engaged with mythics or raiding, so have quite literally never benefitted from the vault. But now it counts not only world quests and delves, but also heroics. All of a sudden, there are legitimate things I can work towards without grouping up. The issue isn't that I don't want to group up, but rather that most people have turned the game into a datasheet and treat it like a job they hate. I want to run dungeons and chill, not push for seconds of improvement on mythic keys while raging at any mishap.
That's crazy. I've been raiding casually since 2007. My character has 0 warcraft logs entries. So their data is definately incomplete. So there's way more then they're saying!
I played a ton of WoW between Vanilla and Catacylsm. I didn’t play very much of WoD, Legion, BFA or Shadowlands, it just didn’t stick with me and I would quit after just a couple of days. War Within feels SO good. I haven’t been this hooked on WoW in over a decade. Between dungeons, delves, pvp (both world pvp and bg/arena), world events, world quests and exploring the ways the profession systems work, there is so much to do and I’m having a blast.
They got mop remix sod retail.amd classic activity all in last month. Acting like its a 4 different monthly users when its just one loging into four products
If they let you play Warcraft Rumble inside of the WoW UI, that would be absolutely amazing. Of course, it would all have to be written in Lua so... lol
The comment "only the strongest survive" made me give an O.K. to the previous times where Xal just let us waltz around her plans. She's clearly conserving her energy, every bit of it, and would rather evade or completely ignore us than waste a single iota of strength. She won't fight us until she knows she'll destroy us.
i didnt reach max level in dragon flight, but this one, im already 4/8 HM. Yes the patch is good and i am returning to WoW, which wouldnt surprise me if other are like me
This expansion has been great, I knew it was going well when my entire time in the world I run into at least 20 or so players in each zone just going about their business. This hasn't felt so good since Legion for me. The game feels so much more healthy and it feels at least like Blizzard is starting to listen to the players to give us a genuinely better product to enjoy.
I get the feeling that normal is meant to foster a pug scene that can lead into a heroic being pug/static guild and then into mythic as a full on static guild big race big hardcore deal
No, its meant to make these amoebas validate monthly active user numbers in multiple versions of wow by killing a boss. Because then blizzard goes to the investors and say, see? We got multiple active users killing bosses in wow classic, retail and mop remix in thesame month. We have loads of customers, invest in our stock.
what i wonna know is why the FUCK the crafting system is so damn expensive in crafting and very much lacking in crafting recepies and why the gathering is so fucking cheap in getting resources??? to my knowledge the crafting and gathering system is at its worst its ever been!!
The game has more polish and they gave us a real story for once. We know the Big Bad. The Big Bag is a charismatic scene-stealer. Their ultimate plan might be a mystery but their motivations are not. They're working for the void and whatever they're trying to do is definitely gonna be bad for us, no question about it. No 'shades of gray' in this character. They're just delightfully evil. The only negative about the story is Alleria's character, who is dumb as a bag of rocks except for that one moment at the end. That didn't feel like character growth to me, just "it's time for me to win because the episode's almost over" main character-itis.
Haven't played WoW in years, I consider myself super casual. I came back to play The War Within after my main MMO RuneScape announced the largest price hikes in the game's history. They made it $14/mo and WoW is only$15/mo, it was so close that I finally decided to jump ship and just move on over to World of Warcraft and I've been enjoying it a lot :) new changes make it much more friendly for people like myself to get back into it, especially level 10 flying mounts in Dragonflight leveling.
The new quest UI and arrow have helped me traverse the game and my quests with clear separation between side quests and main quests. The arrow almost reminds me of like a pre-installed 'Zygor' but from Blizzard themselves. I find myself not getting lost as much as I used to.
Data that track me not playing due to the servers being down... again. And getting dc, avoiding high lag zones. Not finishing dungeons due to dc's and so forth.
That's interesting, because I've been playing since Vanilla WoW and haven't felt like playing this expansion yet. I'm actually more interested ing the next one and that storyline and characters. So, I'll eventually probably play this one to play through it and get to the next.
I really like the xpac, unfortunatelly, getting into a group for M+ as a hunter MM takes forever, and creating your own group too, with the plus of you having to check constantly for people applying and risk your keystones. Will be waiting for the patch and hopefully hunter being a little stronger will make it easier to group up...
I cameback to wow recently. War within wasnt really reason. More that SoD came to my attention, then I decided to explore whats new around. I like many changes that happened, I think the game got better, talents feel more wow than in BFA. Still with the level squish some quests are impossible to complete and this kind of sucks. I think they are on the right path now more than anytime since WoD.
i figured the opposite because they sent me a long survey trying to figure out why i resubbed for prelaunch but didn't buy the xpac (combo of too busy + burnt too many times by bad xpacs) Like the survey kept asking me about what ads i liked and if they made me want to play. kind of funny because the more i saw the ads they less i wanted to play
0:20 😂 They straight up put actual detail into her soles. I don’t think they’ve ever done that in WoW for any model. This *has* to be fan service for a very specific, select group of fans, right?
It's been over 30 days and so many people with missing items in their Guild Bank has been completely ignored by Blizzard. Doesn't matter how many players there are now if Blizzard doesn't care about them, they will quit.
Predicting it now... Xalatath is actually a good guy, trying to front run the power required to face the last Titan. Her and Alleria will be the ones to take down Sargeras and Illidan...
They didn't roll back everyones reputation. My guilds main tank always leveled while multi boxing and was hit with the ban, but his reputation was not rolled back or removed.
The whole “exploit early exploit often” thing.. this has always made me scratch my head. This kind of thing happens, as far as i can remember, at the release of every season. They know it, we know it.. all they would have to do is set a daily / weekly / monthly cap to things. If the cap is done with wisdom people who want to be try-hard will still be able to.. they should easily be able to do the math on max expected gains in any given time frame. But they don’t. Having such a simple fix and making the choice not to says a lot..
It makes sense that normal is piss easy when they give less gear than delves. Push yourself to the limit alone or get 9 pals and stroll through the raid
As a wow lore nerd I found the story of this expansion to be a bit underwhelming, I understand its setting up future plot lines but I found myself not caring about a villain we don’t know much about in conflict with earthen dwarves that we aren’t all that familiar with either. That being said almost everything else was a win for me
Am I the only one feeling TWW story is overhyped? It feels juvenile and not written with an adult audience in mind. Adding more cutscenes and stay-a-while listens is a great boon, but the writing and dialogue are still mid at best. I wonder if them being limited by voice acting budget or cutscene length is partly to blame for how underwhelming it feels to me.
I do think it mostly has to do with Dragon flights story being so "friendship is everything!" The story so far isn't terrible, but there are still plenty of moments where I'm going "this is still rough, and still has that modern writing mindset." Most cinematics with Xal is just her bragging about being multiple steps ahead in a slow dragged out speech. She's cool I guess, but she doesn't have that menacing big boss energy, she just feels like another Sylvannas who's gonna be betrayed by her master again.
Nope, not the only one. Only reason everyone thinks it's so good, is because it's been soooooo bad for soooooo long. It's mediocrity masquerading and greatness.
Bear in mind that China has government limits on the amount of time you can game, so they arent actually alting the same way western players alt. Western players can play many alts and as many hours per day as fits their lifestyle. But in China there is a hard-cap on how much you can play
Hi Bellular. Would it be possible to make a video which covers the upcoming Warcraft Direct? A lot of Classic players are waiting for something new (not MoP Classic...) and playing Retail in the meantime.
Having played since TBC, every modern expansion (besides Legion i guess) gets extolled as "finally" wow is fixed in the beginning, but gets complained about by those same people by the last patch. It seems like a repetitive cycle to me. I gave up mid-Dragonflight so I'm not reliably able to say whether this is actually different or not.
Last time I played was in wotlk and been playing the war within. I don’t think many people do raids and pvp. Most people I have talked to are collecting transmog and mounts and leveling Alts to do the same thing.
I thought you meant performance as in... optimizations... Im running a meager 5800X3d and 7900XT..... I have everything turned to max and RAY TRACING is enabled!!! averaging well over 100 FPS and it looks absolutely stunning. The visual teams need a raise.
yeah fucking right. this game isn't dead but these numbers aren't telling the truth. we know what it felt/looked like at the peak of this game. this shit at present doesn't even come close. respectfully....gtfoh.
Honestly. Atm war within is a banger. Gearing is super fluid, alts are so easily available and worked around. Professions seem better then dragonflight. Raiding is pretty good feeling with difficulties. Pvp is kinda wild tho. They keep this up without the bobby playbook we may actually recover lol
I hated DF, hated the “Common kids, let’s discovery the dragon isles together” type mentality they brought, I am almost convinced to play this expansion.
Its slop. The story is bad, the leveling is non existant, its wole box ticking and revealed is the reason, to fool investors. Thats why you get into raids asap and generate montly active user for each version of wow.

I could swear on an old video, you called it that the VOID maybe the biggest enemy in some capacity. Apparently you were RIGHT!
yes please play the raid cinematic that I haven't watched right at the start of the video, appreciated
Stop supporting corporate slop
I’ll definitely give TWW a try when the next Remix gets released. Pandaria Remix was a type of OP fun I never knew I needed.
If only we still had western Wrath realms... Those numbers would be even higher - including me. Not like now where I'm not having any MMO to play :(
They got mop remix sod retail.amd classic activity all in last month.
She can destroy us now. It's the Arthas problem all over again right now, but without the benefit of him actually winning save for Deus Ex Ashbringer.
@@Voltrocshe doesn't want to interrupt various prophecies by jumping the gun
Or she's just reading the script until it gets to the part where "They fight the boss and win"
i didnt reach max level in dragon flight, but this one, im already 4/8 HM.
It's amazing how you always find new things to talk about.
100%
Spoiler alert please? And where is the talk about WoWs recent performance at?! I'm 70% in, and there has been 0 talk about it. wtf
The raid finale only makes sense if it happens almost simultaneously (hours before) the campaign finale.
and that is only possible by making it an requirement.
I’ve been coming back for short times for each expansion since legion and now I can’t stop playing. It’s very fun!
Xalataths feet is what made me buy this expansion, idec about the loot or lore
I dont know what this cutscene is at 8:50. Did I miss something or is it a spoiler?
Wrath Classic is huge?
Maybe we should like, bring it back...
So, I'll eventually probably play this one to play through it and get to the next.
story about raid might arrive once they release the solo story version of it
next store mount is a AH mount. They'll make so much money
I hope so.
Expansion launch has peak player count? Say it ain't so!
Its not just retail, its duplicate user activity across multiple versions of wow, so slash the number in 3-4 parts.
i figured the opposite because they sent me a long survey trying to figure out why i resubbed for prelaunch but didn't buy the xpac (combo of too busy + burnt too many times by bad xpacs) Like the survey kept asking me about what ads i liked and if they made me want to play. kind of funny because the more i saw the ads they less i wanted to play
I use the wow token to gauge player activities. The lower the token value means the higher the player activity.
That "Be like Trantino" line killed me, but your not wrong, I'd write the same scene if I could 🤣
0:20 😂 They straight up put actual detail into her soles.
That last paragraph went so hard so fast I had to make a double take.
Predicting it now...
Xalatath is actually a good guy, trying to front run the power required to face the last Titan.
Her and Alleria will be the ones to take down Sargeras and Illidan...
And then they will reveal azeroth was Hilary Clinton all allong.
Just remember that the number of internet users is 5-6 times as high as it was back when WoW released.
Wait, you mean we really ARE "so back?" I thought that was just a meme.
Nah, response has been rather positive so far, outside of a few issues
The propaganda, rhe overall response was rather negative, but the peoole who didnt leave wow will consume anything becauae they got no standards...
That being said almost everything else was a win for me
The enemies seem to be smart this time around and that works. I will never forgive them wasting N'Zoth though.
Brother, They just switched to NA and EU for the time there servers where down. They use VPN's to connect to western servers.
This man is seeing through the ruse, bellular has a financial incentive to remain blind
Ye ur the only one
I do think it mostly has to do with Dragon flights story being so "friendship is everything!"
The story so far isn't terrible, but there are still plenty of moments where I'm going "this is still rough, and still has that modern writing mindset." Most cinematics with Xal is just her bragging about being multiple steps ahead in a slow dragged out speech.
Correct, it feels stupid, i think saturday morning cartoons act with more logic
I didn't play since Legion and I believed I won't install it again. But now I'm addicted again...
Congrats you atleast noticed is an addiction.
Our guild had 120 online at same time. Think top during dragonflight was like 60. And we did social raids with like 70 ppl
Bear in mind that China has government limits on the amount of time you can game, so they arent actually alting the same way western players alt. Western players can play many alts and as many hours per day as fits their lifestyle. But in China there is a hard-cap on how much you can play
Surprising when the writing feels a bit better what it would do to the game.
Hi Bellular. Would it be possible to make a video which covers the upcoming Warcraft Direct? A lot of Classic players are waiting for something new (not MoP Classic...) and playing Retail in the meantime.
I am leveling my 6th Carachter currently on LVL 76 War Within
The more they scream 'the game's not dying', the less I'm sure about it
Having played since TBC, every modern expansion (besides Legion i guess) gets extolled as "finally" wow is fixed in the beginning, but gets complained about by those same people by the last patch.
WOW could go back to W0TLK size or even surpass it if WOW goes on Game Pass it could redefine WOW in a Massive way.
Pls no...
I ain't trusting their data. Never touching their games again.
I thought you meant performance as in... optimizations... Im running a meager 5800X3d and 7900XT..... I have everything turned to max and RAY TRACING is enabled!!! averaging well over 100 FPS and it looks absolutely stunning. The visual teams need a raise.
I have a 7500f and 3060ti and I agree im getting 50-70 fps and it is nice.
did you notice the stut stutsttterrring?
That Sylannas transmog, and I have the gow from SL, I cannot wait for that!
oooooook so we are getting varians sword in the trading post, well imagine what they might come with in the future. frostmourne replica
I am one of those pumped up numbers. Back since BFA
Damn you gotta give me time to prepare for a sentence like that lmao 14:23
yeah fucking right. this game isn't dead but these numbers aren't telling the truth. we know what it felt/looked like at the peak of this game. this shit at present doesn't even come close. respectfully....gtfoh.
Could you not show raid story spoilers literally at the start of the video without any kind of warning. Why was this even needed?
Honestly. Atm war within is a banger.
Gearing is super fluid, alts are so easily available and worked around. Professions seem better then dragonflight. Raiding is pretty good feeling with difficulties. Pvp is kinda wild tho.
They keep this up without the bobby playbook we may actually recover lol
Its garbage, but you have no taste so you juat follow marketing generated hype
Gearing is too easy
This is exactly the slopification of wow bobby started and aimed for. You are just a happy pig in shit
Not going back until Ara Kara final boss is nerfed in mythic.
i am happy that wow is on the right path again, I am enjoying the game finally since tbc, and mop
given the theme of the expansion, i believe it is more accurate to say Tarantulino instead of Tarantino. Bojack Horseman says hi!
Well I went to Turtlewow as the official doesn't have a version I want to play..until we get a TBC of Classic+ server.
Ouch, my guild got stuck at council normal
