    Les Grossman was by far Tom's best ever character purely because it took this guy we all knew as one of the best, serious actors of his generation and put him into a surreal comedy character and he utterly killed it. Of course he did.

      There hasn't been a movie with him where he didn't completely smash it.
      Some of the movies might not be all that great but his performances are always worth watching them.... even that Mummy film he did.
      Live/Die/Repeat or Edge of Tomorrow (whatever you prefer) is one of my absolute favorite films of all time.

    I feel like Tom is living ten lifetimes. He’s so dedicated to everything he does. It’s amazing to see. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves as an actor, he sort of exists in his own space. Love his energy and positivity about everything where as I can barely push myself to get out of bed.

      I've always wondered what he does on his down time (for real, he's my sort of real-life scapegoat, like if I'm shoveling the snowy driveway, I'll think to myself, "I bet Tom Cruise doesn't have to do this") and here he says it: He takes classes.       @@vb8428 except scientology is not a religion, it is a business. It actually requires you to pay HUGE sums of money to complete their courses and "ascend the ladder". If you don't have enough money you go to the SEA organization (basically slaverly, teenagers as young as 12 are taken away from their families + education), and you pretty much have no possession or skills, and have to sign a billion year contract. If you want to leave you will be interrogated, tortured, imprisoned, have your family turned against you. You won't see any other 'religion' doing that.

      No we don't. Comedic relief characters just work in the context of whole movie, if you make a spin-off with just this character it goes downhill very fast.
      Remember the Timon and Pumba TV series? No? Ye because it sucked.

    Tom was the bright spot of an otherwise dull movie for me.
    As much as I like watching Tom do Mission: Impossible, if I heard he was bringing Les back, I would see it in a heartbeat.
    I wish Tom would do more comedies.

    Cruise is one of the best late night interviews. I read an article from one of these guys saying how grateful they are when he's on, because he always brings something new, and never mails it in. Pretty cool.

    I didn’t realize it was Tom Cruise until the scene with Mathew McConaughey!!🤣. He was hilarious!!! One of the best and funniest movies!!! Thank goodness there are still talented people in this lifetime to make us laugh🤘🏻😅

    The fact that he still remember his amazing Les Grossman role from about 10 years ago, still kept me thinking, when will Les Grossman gets his own movie??
