Every so often I have a moment where I think "I wonder what Josh Turner Music has posted..." and I swing by the channel and fall completely back down the rabbit hole listening to all of my favorites. I am so glad you exist. Keep making beautiful music.👊
I hope you are making a good living from your Patreon patrons and that touring is just icing on the cake! As a 75-year-old drummer who had a long (but not financially rewarding) career way back when, it's amazing to see how the business has evolved! And, buy the way, your TALENT is AMAZING!!!
Check this man's youtube channel. There is one (and only) video of him playing drum solo at a concert circa 1986. It's AMAZING!!!
Can confirm, that drum solo was sick
Bob, I hope, like me.....your journey in music greatly eclipses any monetary gain.....cheers.....
He's got amazing talent. i also as a 81 years old old enjoy to see some of the young generation are still following the classics of Rock n Roll
Good stuff as usual!
Meeting you in Dublin was legit one of the greatest moments of my life (sorry I fangirled all over you and Carson). This cover’s great. You’re great. You genuinely make the world a better place. Thanks again Josh
I'm always amazed at your willingness to take on classics (in any genre) that everybody has engraved in their souls. We know every nuance, every guitar fill. And it's not like you have to duplicate those, but we know how *sweet* they all are, so you have to do something equally sweet. And yet. And yet, Mick and Keef, and all of them would listen to this - hell, they might *actually* listen to it - and say, "Yeah, that's all right!"
Josh…been listening ever since becoming disabled 4 years ago…when my UA-cam addiction started…you’re an amazing musician…but your voice is becoming stellar!
Song choice’s always spot on!
This took me right back to when I was 17 years old and did this song with my two best friends at our high school talent show. (I’ll be 65 next week) we were 2 guys and a girl. In my head we sounded as magnificent as you do❤️. Literally, thanks for the memories
I thought you were going to end that "in my head" with "but we sucked actually". Maybe you were good who knows.
Did you win?!
@@justachristian4072 ha! I had to think about that. I think we came in second.

A new favorite version of an old favorite song. I am twice blessed in that I lived through this music when it was new and I was young, and I get to live it again through your love and respect for all of these classic tunes that are the story of my life. I know these two words are so little to say for all of your hard work, but it is heartfelt... thank you.
George
OMGOODNESS Josh!!! This is covered so excellently!!
WOW, WOW
I tell you, you have a true understanding of music and the ability of playing many instruments allows you to cover a song like this one and do it perfectly!!!
Needless to say your talent is special. Paul McCartney, after Beatles break up, made albums of himself playing all the instruments and singing all the harmonies and melodies like what you're doing. You work with what you have, right?
Very impressive. Thank you❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Top notch, Josh! And excellent video as always, Kelly :)
Appreciate your work Josh! Cheers
Sometimes less is more. You never overdid any part of that song. It just flowed out. Fantastic !
Wild Horses could not drag me away from watching this video...Keep it up Josh this is wonderful.
You're an excellent band!
😊
They're all so equally talented, I hope they all get the same salary and that the lead dude isn't ripping the rest of em off... 😒
Fantastic treatment; I love the elevated tempo. So lush and layered; great job!
Brilliant version Josh. Love it.
Excellent cover. The harmonics on the acoustic was a nice touch.
When I see a new Josh post, it's thumbs up before I even touch play. And I've never been disappointed. So good...
👍Meee too!! I know it’s going to be fantastic. I am never disappointed either. I am always amazed by his talent. I still miss Carson. I hope they do stuff in the future.
The 70's nostalgia this provokes is overwhelming, in a good way.
My dad used to play/sing this song on acoustic guitar to me when I was a kid. Your cover really took me back to being there in the living room of my childhood house for some reason. Thanks for this, especially on fathers day.
One of my all time favorite songs. Came out just before I entered the US Air Force 1972. Thanks Josh, wonderful version.
Beautifully done Josh! We love your heartfelt treatment of this great song. 👏👏👏
What an amazing cover -- so astounding that you can be the entire Rolling Stones all by yourself! Really beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous cover. Intricate and layered, yet restrained and not over-done. Thanks for yet another fine video!
You definitely captured the laid-back, ragged glory of this tune. Great cover as always
Ragged glory - that's just about the best description of this sort of music I've ever heard. Nice work!
Very well done, Josh!! Loved it!!
You NEVER cease to amaze me... no doubt you have a huge cleanup after every video, cause brother, you are dripping with talent...
It's "You never cease to amaze me". I love what you're saying but cease means 'to stop'.
@@Krypt.CoPublicRelations Yes..."you never stop amazing me".
@@Krypt.CoPublicRelations I plead my case from the "hurried" comment defense.., edited...
You said, "How's that?".....I say, "Best rendition and cover I've ever heard!!".
As a Stones fan I am grateful for your cover of this classic RS song. You got the atmosphere of the tune, played the guitars and drums wisely and respected the originals. The vocals were stunning too. Thanks!
Simply brilliant. Thanks for doing justice to this classic song 🎵
It's pure Stones guitar chemistry here at it's finest, Mick Taylor's lead work, Keith's Rhythm and acoustic 6 and 12 string guitars on display. Only sad part is I never hear this kind of thing (writing) done well today. Maybe it's not meant to be done again, and it's everything lining up perfectly and even the Stones could not top it. But I waited ever since Josh did Honky Tonk Woman for him to cover the stones again, and here we get one of their finest moments ever shown to us in beautiful detail.
Words fail me, Josh! Another awesome rendition of an all time classic rock song! 👍 This made my day. Like it did for so many other times before! An honest, big "thank you" for your music! Greetings from Southern Bavaria!
Jeez, Josh. Are you gonna leave no Stones unturnered?
Brilliantly done, as a 67 year old I grew up on this stuff, I felt blessed then and still do!
Fantastic cover, Josh! You just keep getting better and better. 🤩 Perhaps some Grateful Dead next?

My favorite stones song! You covered it perfectly... 👏
Been waiting a l o o o o n g time for you to do this one. And now you’ve done it. I’m happy and content. Thanks Josh for sharing your awesome rendition!
There's a reason y'all are the only channel I have notifications on for
Geez, Josh can literally cover any genre of music! Unbelievable
Awe Josh, I may not get to comment much these days thanks to my cheflife, but I never stopped following, checking in, and most importantly listening. I love you madly and my offer still stands, if u are ever pasing by my restaurant come for a free meal, I'll even cook it for you...Fernie, BC Canada. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of my favorites. Lovingly done. This brought me sad yet comforting joy. ☮️ - always.
This song desperately made me want to hear Josh sing a Gram Parsons tune.
So this is day 1 of asking for a Gram Parsons cover
Please allow me a +1 on the Gram Parsons request and Josh you have the Emmy Lou standing by for that
Very nicely done! One of my favorite Stones' tunes. There's are a lot of country inflections and licks in some Stone's stuff!
None of those guitar parts are complicated or that difficult to play, but man putting them together creates a masterpiece, and as usual Josh crushes it all. Top notch job putting this entire video together.
Exactly. Like you said, they're not overly complicated, but goddamn do they need feel and groove to work
Wow Josh, I have been following you for quite a while but this really impressed me - even more than your regular excellent performances! Well done!
Just a long time fan here. Thanks for your shared talent. Would you do some David Gates/Bread like 'Guitar Man', 'Dairy', 'Aubrey Was Her Name', etc. They suit your voice and style perfectly. But just my opinion. Thanks again for reading.
Excellent job Josh. All parts sounded great. Must have took hours to put this all together. Harmonies are exceptional.
That was really good. Everything you do is good, but this was the perfect song for the early morning. Thank you 😊
Exquisite. You absolutely captured the essence of this song, well done 👍
Great rendition..those vocal tracks too...awesome
Great job threading all the parts of this vintage piece together. Been a fan of your work for some time now. Thanks for posting your awesome talent.
It’s not his 😂
@@wanderingboy8271 he meant the arrangement of the cover. hence "this vintage piece"
@@mash808 really ?
Love the harmony that punches in a hair early on the beat.
Such a great decision.
Wow ! do you ever have a ear for music! Could you do Factory Girl by the Stones sometime, it's based on a irish jig, guitar's mandolin and violin ... it's a hell of a tune!
How can this not have millions of hits?
My favorite cover ever of this Stones hit. Josh Turner as a one-man band, SO TALENTED!
What’s your favorite Stones album, Josh?
One of my all-time favorites -- well done!
Better than the Rolling Stones, almost as good as Old And In The Way...
Wow-Mick, Ronnie, Charlie, and Keef all in one package. Bill couldn’t make the session? Great treatment of a great song.
Or rather, Mick, Mick (Taylor), Charlie and Keef!
I first saw the Stones on 17 October 1973 at Vorst National in Brussels…Billy Preston on keyboards, Trevor Lawrence on saxophone, Steve Madaio on trumpet and of course Mick Taylor on lead and slide…..The Stones at their finest (Brussels Affair)…..this is one of my favourite songs along with Angie…..great job 👏👏👏👏thanks for the trip down memory lane 😎👌🥂
love intentionally messy this is. vocals not coming in together, guitars being a little off, etc. really captures the original recording
Love the blend of acoustic and electric sounds.
SOUNDS GREAT, TRY ALITTLE ECHO, SEE HOW THAT SOUNDS
Amazing. Such an incredible talent!!!
Always thought the Stones were overrated until I heard this song.
I’ve been watching Josh for a bit. Does he have performance ambitions. Self assurance on all levels, I.e., all the vocal tracks, guitar playing good balance. A good mix would most probably tidy any level issues. Expect to see you around my neck of the woods in CT sometime.
Amazing work mate
Just wow, Josh!.. You've captured the right feel of that song..! It performed in such a moody style,.. This song always gotten me tearing up!.. I can't explain it,.. But you did captured all of that!.. Thanks for the treat!.. Keep it up!..
Amazing how all the guys in this band are wearing the same shirt.
I wonder in what order this was tracked? Click track to drums, etc.
so great... possibly my favorite stones song ❤
the sound track to my youth, thanks Josh
Love this song, I actually made a cover of this same song a month or two ago!
These things come in waves.
Excellent cover. Thank you very much!
Good work as usual. I just love following Josh and his friends. Well, this time just Josh, but it's always good!
Wow! Great cover. I hope Mick and Keef see it.
My Google calendar says today's your birthday. I don't know why it does, nor do I know how or why I must have known that at some point. It also shows all the feast days, but I don't think you've been canonized yet so it's a mystery. Anyway, Happy Birthday! Through the UA-cam peephole, your twenties looked fruitful. You're thirties should be more so.
Love this! You are a modern day single rolling stone, Josh!
Dedicated to Kelly....❤️
You are my absolute favorite.Josh.
What 12 string, is That ?
It's his Martin D-12-35, 1969. It's listed in the complete description. Josh always lists all the gear he uses in there.

Thank You
Beautifully done! This is my favorite Rolling Stone song, but only when someone like you sings it.
That was so much fun to watch. Nothing better than the sound of an acoustic 12-string!
nice
Lindo lindo eu adoro esta música
great work, you could try a drum part with brushes instead of sticks IMHO
Fantastic rendition! The whole Rolling Stones in one man! Very professional as usual, thx for that very good moment, I enjoyed it until the very last drum beat!
Wow. Superb cover.
Josh the Genius
Billy who? Just joking, but seriously this guy is my favorite artist of this century.

I've spent many years playing the guitar on and off (mostly on) in order to play at about 1/4th of the level you play at. Your vocals are equally outstanding! You're a very musically gifted young guy! Keep at it Josh! You'll have more than a million subscribers before too long! Thanks for the music along the journey!
Josh and rolling stones !!!! I'm so happy ! I love this cover ! Good job
Excellent Awesome what a great song so well interpreted by Josh!
my favourite stones song this is EVERYTHING!!!!!!! inccredible as always
You made me cry man...
The cat is totally (un)impressed. Your parents raised you, right kid. Happy Father's day. 🎉🎉
Such an incredibly good cover. Amazing, really. Your singing with yourself has such a good sound to it.
Ever since Sticky Fingers came out my sophomore year in high school this has been my favorite Stones song (and that's a lot of competition). As always Josh absolutely nails it.
