    Not sure whether to be optimistic seeing how one person or a small group of dedicated people can move entire industries forward or to be pessimistic seeing how nearly everyone can be doing things wrong for decades without anyone bothering to double check their assumptions and methodologies.

    This is terrific, I've been following Joe for a while and just learned more about him in this 1 show than all the others combined......Now the big question, as the 1st commenter, can you hook me up with an invite to summer camp !!!!!!!!!!

    I'm not really sure why Joe said in 1982 they had one of the first air source heat pumps ( maybe in Canada?). Air source heat pumps became popular in the early 1970s during the oil crisis. Back in 1982 when I was at Linn State Technical College,Linn Mo we had heat pump trainers & the shop was full of air source heat pumps. As a matter of fact back then we were also starting to get into ground Source heat pumps as well.
