After 67 days of doing your full body morning routine every day I'm able to touch both palms to ground with straight legs and hold crow pose - things I always wanted to be able to do but never could. Middle split will now be my next goal!
Thank you for bringing back the fun of movement to me :)

Im gonna start the routine today, 29/5.
I'll update when I get my full middle split. Wish me luck :)
    Update:
29/6, it's been a month but I still didn't manage to get my full middle split. I've been doing the routine on every morning and evening except for few days when I'm busy with my exam. However I'm not gonna give up just yet and gonna keep updating my progress. As of now I'm about 3-4 inches off from the floor.

I HAVE BOTH SPLITS. The middle one take a longer time than front. I practiced since May last year and got the full split in early this January, basically 8 months for middle split. Now I’m training to strengthen my splits so I could open my split using solely my glutes and abductors muscles strength.
For middle split stretch, I do passive and active side lunge, horse stance (squeeze glutes to pull back the knees). Butterfly stretch, frog pose, and this one is a bit hard to explain but I’ll try; I sit in L shape, right leg to ur right side straight and bend the knee for the other leg to the left side, then lean forward in the middle ( try to flat ur back as possible and right leg toes facing ceiling). The last stretch is straddle to pancake, this I do in 2 stages; I straddle until I feel the 1st stretch feeling in my inner thighs, then lean to the sides; 1st belly down n 2nd side down, then pancake time 🥞. Then back upright the torso, rest a few minutes. Then I straddle more to my max level, holding that position for 3 minutes( will feel the burn in the glutes), then pancake again( try ur hardest to flat the back and rotate the toes upward( this force action will burns more on the glutes and abductors). After the pancake, massage the inner thighs by strike lightly with the fists.
I don’t know if anyone understand my words😅, but that’s exactly what I did that now I have my middle splits. I train 2-3 times per week. That’s just my middle split stretch routine not including my front split. The key here is to keep it consistent, don’t slack off. Motivation? no...you do first then the motivation will automatically come to you believe me😁

🙏Done 0,5 speed after the front split flexibility routine. It feels open. I'm just being (very) careful to escape the pose... kind of careful for my knee... I probably need more straight arm strenght or another strategy. I do not feel like escaping falling into my butt, to protect my knees... . So I bent one knee, then the other... . I use a chair & my fingertips 😉

I love that you mentioned the pelvic tilt! 👍 Most people can’t get into middle split (me included but with the routine I hope to change that) because the bone position simply won’t allow it.

@@SparkCleo Hey... I totally forgot that I wrote these comments/messages. I had stopped doing these after a few months, because my focus shifted more towards calisthenics, but nonetheless I did have results with these. The only thing is, it takes much longer than some like to suggest. There was a course that I bought which was titled "Splits in 30 days". Don't believe this, it's nonsense. It can take months to over a year or more for some people.
Recently, I integrated split exercises into my training routine again and I am becoming more and more flexible.
If others can achieve it, you can too. If you are consistent and NEVER give up, then it's just a matter of time.

So good, I've tried and it's really good :)
I do martial arts and I don't really like stretching (I should stretch more, I know XD) but with with more videos I think it could be funnier... Thanks! So helpful! :)

Thank you for these videos Gabo. Is it different to train for the middle split compared to the front split?

Lovely routine, I've actually been working on the middle splits for a few months now (almost there :)) & thanks a lot for the 15 minute series. I've been doing a different 15 minute mobility routine of yours for each morning of the week 😊
One question regarding the middle splits: In the pose at the end where we sit down after going to our max depth, it's good to engage the glutes right? They get that same sensation as when doing the fire hydrant contraction.
Also, thanks to your routines (I started doing them about a year ago) I've gotten the front splits, pancake, forward fold, wheel, scorpion, handstand etc... & I loved phase 1 of CE on the SM academy, so thanks a lot for what you do!❤️
