Spot on. I don’t have children yet and I went to a date with this dude. He told me in a joking manner “you aborted your babies and flushed them in toilets”... i was so shocked i couldn’t even talk. I never committed abortion. He immediately realized what he said and apologized but i was done. I went back to my place dizzy. He sometimes try to message me but i am disgusted by him. I can’t imagine what kind of abuse a man like that can put u through after a few months of dating. Scary.

My husband would tell me that I wasn’t on his level and that I was ALWAYS negative. I don’t really like looking at myself in the mirror. I was the one working and taking care of my home and he was the one who was on drugs. My dad was in the home but didn’t raise me. I don’t know what a good man is to be honest and I feel like I can’t be in a relationship anymore because my trust for men is gone. No! I’m not into women but I just rather be alone because I can’t get hurt.

The problem is, almost all men uplift you in the beginning. Not just in the courting period. But in the lovebombing period, and perhaps in the entire first year, or even 2, 3 years into the relationship. And THEN he starts putting you down. First with the seemingly innocent poking, then the openly hurtful jokes, then just the plain dismissive, hurtful words. It is hard to just get up and leave them then. Children or none, you got attached. You have invested yourself in this relationship, if with nothing else, with empathy and compassion and love for them. What kind of a person would I be if I left my partner within weeks or months of him changing for the worse? I do what I expect of the other side. I try to understand. I try to see if he's right in some aspect, I try to see if I myself contributed to his change somehow. I am proud of this feature of my character. I would never change it just to experience less pain in life. All the pain I lived from a man that claimed he was mine, it's on him. I'm proud of it. It's on MEN to change for the better. For real, all men, all throughout the world. It's NOT ON ME to become more rational and calculated, and a cold observant of pros and cons, while I am chosing my soul partner. IT'S NOT ON ME TO BECOME MORE LIKE A MAN in order finally not to be hurt by a man. It's on men to learn empathy from women and adapt much more to them, i.e. to adapt to our, women's way of loving unconditionally, with compassion, empathy, and compromise. Right, girls? In this sense, the solution would be that e.g. a good pastor, hint, hint, starts preaching to MEN on how they should change. Giving a lot of lectures on how men should behave, and what they should learn to feel. Like empathy, and love. And on how men must learn to cultivate giving encouragement to their woman. Regardless of whether they are pursuing her, or dating her, or have been dating for years already. Good wise MEN must start educating all other 90% of MEN in order for a true change to take place in male-female relations in today's society. I am appealing to all good pastors, school teachers, sports coaches, dads, father figures, big brothers, older cool boys in the hood, etc, here.

I recently removed myself from a narcissistic relationship. He use to tell me that I was too smart, or I would find him giving me mean looks whenever I would get dressed. I guess he was upset that I was attractive. As time went on when he would be angry he would say the most vile and mean things that a person could possibly say to me. I have never been verbally disrespected to that degree ever in my life. I guess it’s a good thing that my self esteem was high because nothing he said ever made me question my worth. I question my own worth by staying and putting up with it whether it had an effect on me or not. I did notice that I began to change. I had to become mean and heartless to deal with him in order to defend myself from his attacks. I broke it off after realizing that I could not be the best version of myself with him.

My ex deliberately got my family involved to try and play with my emotions in front of them and they did nothing. I was 28 a man came through my mother and stated he found a woman he wants to marry but never thought it was me. I think the guy was uncertain as I've known him for a while. He made an excuse why he needs to stay by my place for a week. And the hell started and ended there. I asked him direct bout the woman he wanted to marry, he could never clarify. I knew he was know good but has good prospects following his PhD in Cambridge he took all he knew about me and used against me, belittled me, and tried to pressure me for sex which I declined many times as I was observing him. Unfortunately I gave in but some how I knew to get the pill as I had not had unprotected itamcy with him before but sensed something could happen which was strange and I was the one to prevent it. Him being heavily invested in the church I expected more from him before taking such risks. But trusted him enough to see where he wanted to take things. I stopped it instantly and he said do you not want a baby. I just looked at him like no not like this. After he left he messaged me asking if I would consider civil partnership I said know he can find someone else. And thank God he has since found someone else. But they way i was treated based on him calling woman at night in my home and correcting him and then doing it again and also infrint of my mother to trigger me. Left me with such fury with anger as years before he came I made efforts to keep my distance following his remark after refusing to be his girlfriend, he stated" I have virgins back home waiting for me" instantly I knew the type of man he was. And when he returned I thought with age he would age gracefully. Well he did but not privately. His woman is not a o the radar but academically what can sustain him as him on his own is like a child and he does not invest in women so the woman would need to invest in herself. The way he presents himself no is a false character and I get shun for not going with a disrespectful man. That used my family and my needs as a woman to try trap me and agree to a poor deal. I realised how much I love myself when I left him but the men that come through my mother are destroyers of women. Unfortunately my mother despises my father and has proj3cted that on me since a child. She is evil and vindictive and even laughed about how she encouraged him to come knowing his intentions that he passes through her. She insulted me to have children with any type of man. Because he is in the church has a PhD he has reelected even bad seeds are in church deliberately seeking to defile women. Ephesians 5 teach both men and woman how it is done and it is the woman that will confirm the man is good. For through his actions his wife will submit but women these days take deals that are not a covenant eith God as intended but to cover up what they have done. Then wonder why things happen in their familes. Before next chaper opens how you close the previous always spiritually that man's home based on what I have observed in the community. If anyone asked asked him any man that dame through my mother what they first did to assist me as a woman, they will get tongue tide. And they hide behind close doors like they respect themselves. I never tempted nor sought after these men as i knew their spirit but get suprised that certain men that people will hail and praise are actuallish pure rubbish in sprit and flesh. Now I have another foolish African contacting me to have his baby, he has money but would be the worst head of the home based on how he treats me. If I mention Ephesians 5 he will overlook and refer me to chapter 6. And I'm sure you can imagine which verse!!!!

And on top of that, he was fighting with his mom about his childhood that neither of them could change! God healed the mental abuse I suffered & now He is the one that is guiding my life choices. A lot of time, people react to past trauma, not realising....in many cases, it is 'unconscious behaviour'. Once you become aware of how you 'really' act and be, then if your behaviour is not up to your standard, you will never do that again. It's true, self awareness. When someone says I would never do that, you will probably see them doing it, and at that point it is up to you to point it out. Then it gives the opportunity for the person to change. If they don't, then you have to take steps to get out, or build a skin, knowing that they will do it again, as well as be like that to other people.

It's just so hurtful. Yesterday he called me the B word and I told him that is not okay. Instead of apologizing he said "you can call me a B since I called you one." to which I responded "I would never call you that." All he said was "Good, at least now you respect me." And he kept referring to me by the word. Mind you, before this we were not in any sort of altercation really that would warrant him feeling disrespected, he was just blasting music while we drove. After he said that I was silent and brought it up once more when we parked. When he still showed no remorse I just said I want to go home to which he said "follow your heart" chuckled, and continued to walk into the gym that we had just driven to. It took everything in me to stay calm, and to remain calm while I waited for my Lyft ride at the neighboring store. As soon as I got home I had a breakdown basically and felt so disappointed. He said this the time right after I told him I loved him for the first time, and I had started planning a project to make him that day (I sew clothes.) It just hurt that as soon as I fell for him he showed his true colors I guess. The only way I was able to follow through with my boundary despite my strong feelings for him is imagining what I would want for my future daughter if she was in a similar situation. And the knowledge that in dating I'm not only looking for a partner for myself, but also a father for my kids so I need to be stern in my standards not only for my own sake. Sure maybe I could dismiss this behavior and suck it up for myself if I fall for someone. But the thought of my future husband treating my kids with utter indifference makes my stomach churn. I haven't heard anything from him since and don't expect to so am just trying to get over it but it is hard as it took so much for me to open up to him after bad experiences in the past. And I really thought he cared, and was a nice loving guy but he acted like a completely different person yesterday. I guess someone can only keep up a facade for so long. Always remember: "Love is patient, love is kind."
Even if you love them, be strong enough to hold your boundaries, you can always cry into your pillow later and eat ice cream, but you won't alway be able to recover the dignity that is destroyed. Worse, down the line you may not be able to heal the broken hearts of the innocent kids you create with them. And doing so is building myself into the type of woman I would be happy for my future daughter to look up to. I never want my future kids to think unhealthy relationship dynamics are okay, I would feel so guilty if they mimicked it. I'm so grateful my mom chose my father who is an amazing man who I can use as an example of what it means to be the loving, devoted leader of a family, and who normalized healthy love to the point where I'm not addicted to and instead am repulsed by avoidant behavior, and I want to do the same for my future kids.

Brenda Borden That’s definitely not love my sister. No man who loves his wife says those things. He hates himself so he cannot love you.
In a healthy marriage we disagree...may even get a little angry, but the love & respect is still there because it is a part of the foundation. In an abusive marriage, you walk on eggshells and the person says the most hateful things. Then they’ll come back around with false promises. Changed behavior is the best apology. God does not want you abused. A man breaks covenant when he abuses his wife. And sometimes God didn’t want that person for us - but we wanted them and He gave us to our desires. Then we ask God to bless a mess He wasn’t in, in the first place. Ask God to show you what spirit you are dealing with. He will show you. Be prepared for the answer & be obedient to His instruction. An abuser will always use your emotions against you so you must think logically for your sanity. Praying for you. May God bless and protect you. 🙏🏽

Kids generally respect their fathers better, though, and generally won't try to test their fathers as much as their mothers. That is because, at least in a two parent home, they see that the father's are getting the last say in things and mothers not really allowed input. It is even worse if the mother is trying to be a disciplinary when need it be and try to set boundaries and structure and the father vetoes it, and too loose with the kids. A lot of women are taught to go along with what the man says and do not question it, even when clearly wrong.

I’m newly divorced after 12 years of a husband building me up then shaming me and so and so forth; Im grateful to God to be out of it, I can be the God given 10 I know I am now! Praying for the healing God has for me. Preach pastor; every woman NEEDS to hear this message!!

I have been going back and forth for the past 2 months with this guy that, as Pastor said in a separate video, never should have gotten the benefit of a conversation with me. Every time that I would "break up" with him in anger, I would feel so ashamed of the way that I allowed him to treat me. I would cry so hard, it felt chaotic, it felt confusing, it felt heavy
. I finally accepted that we're incompatible, but to be very honest a part of me is pained that he obstinately refused to love me the way that I fought with him to. However, I also feel like a burden has been lifted from me, and I am looking forward to spending time working on myself with the help of the Lord. This video affirmed a lot of what I needed to hear, it's edifying, it's clear and it's honest. Thank you Pastor, I am encouraged to move away from this unhealthy pattern of putting myself in turmoil by settling for sub-par men and struggling for something which I already know they can't or won't give.

The Lord have been telling me that He wants us to use this season of singleness for a deep healing. He wants us to seek counseling/therapy. They have online therapy named Better Help. Use this time to learn how to play an instrument, learn how to cook new dishes, travel if you can, go to school, and so on and so forth. But use this time to fully develop who you are, and most importantly build your relationship with Christ. Not just follow traditions, but truly seek His face while it may be found.

RC Blake’s, Please pray for me. Long story short, I was in my word, I ended meeting a man, that ended up reeling me in and it was a triangular relationship, confusion, disrespect. It went from love bombing, compliments to devalue me. I tried to get out Several times. He threatened me. I feared him. It’s been so disruptive. Thank You, for your teachings.

I don't care too much about the toys but when the last guy I was seeing started criticising my Christianity.... I was done. Same guy was always talking about his wealthy ex.... It took 2 months and I waved goodbye. Best decision ever

So true. I never met my biological father until I was grown. The man I thought was my father was a pedofile that molested me throughout my childhood. I dealt with a number of abusers throughout my life not really understanding what being loved by a man was about. I'm still learning. That's why I love your broadcasts because you teach what a man is supposed to be and how he should treat me. Thanks for putting this knowledge out there for women like me.

Growing up, my father beat me and told me that "men only want whats between you legs". I learned about sex from the porn spilling out of my uncles closet. When I got taken in by my cousin and her sisters, I grew up hearing messages about how unreliable, abusive and deceitful men were. Growing up with these messages made being with sick men normal. The times I dated good men id sabotage it believing that he must be dumb or desperate to want someone like me and that if he spent enough of time with me he's throw me away after sex. This mentality held firm until this year once I started seeking therapy. Your words are really needed to help those of us who grew up the way I did.
