- About a month ago, I made a video with this title and premise. Since it makes Gaijin more money when event vehicles are extremely powerful, every tank I talked about was an event tank. A lot of you guys wanted to know what the best tech tree tank in War Thunder was, so I decided to redo the video.

Tiger 2, under tiered? in down tiers everything is your toy like all heavys but at its own BR if something with HEATFS looks at you you die, if something with HE looks at you you die, if someone has early sabo and looks at you you die, if someone can see your turret you most likely die, I believe it is fine where it is.
Also what servers do you play on bc whenever I play Germany or USSR I watch the team either die once and quit or just spawn camp one spawn point so I would like to know

Hello Spookston! Firstly I have to congratulate you on this awesome video. Secondly I want you to adress the constant fuel explosion on russian tanks, mainly 8.0(excluding T-10M) onwards. I have seen this happen too often. Maybe you could look into this problem in detail, and propose a solution to Gaijin. I hope you will take this suggestion into consideration and solve this annoying problem.

The U-SH 405 is a great little car, can easily wipe half a team with a good flank. But it requires very good trigger discipline, the rockets run out very fast if you spam them. It also can't fulfill any roles other than a flanker since a single machine gun bullet is enough to kill it. In my opinion the best ground vehicle in the game is the BMP-2M since it can do everything very well. It can kill any kind of vehicle with it's missiles and the autocannon is great while also getting thermals at only 8.7. I bring the BMP-2M to any Russian lineup that is 8.7 or above and it always performs well. The PT-76-57 is also a contender for best vehicle in the game due to how undertiered it is but hopefully that'll change soon.
I somewhat agree on the BMP-2M and PT-76-57 but this video was about tech tree vehicles.

@@kaige498 in my opinion, that's any good vehicle. XM-1 is a good example, I first bought it as a new US main (like a moron) and I promptly sucked so fucking much, but when I play it now, having finished or reached rank 7 in multiple trees, I can play it like a light tank and get 5-6 kills easy. There's many really good tanks, they just have to be played a certain way and require general skill at the game.
lol CV9040b is a much better vehicle than the BMP2M at everything except killing sniping helis (if you take the proxy missile on the 2m which you should do)
i'd say dardo and type 89 are even better i started playing the type 89 again and it is very unfair

I found the Panther A at 5.7 to be pretty busted with the good turret traverse, mobility, and gun. Not to mention the UFP is strong vs most enemies you face.

Thank the Snail for the fortunate placing of the IS-2 at 5.7. The moment it appears in the kill feed shrecking a Tiggor or a Panther, all the German players suddenly become much more humble.

There is actually a bug going on with a lot of the smaller wheeled vehicles. If you transmission is slightly damaged but not too much to move none of them seem to make any engine noise.
On the topic of the USH I utterly hated playing the thing, but got to admit it is really really strong

IT 1 is the tank you missed. because the missle is on top you can peak hills without actually exposing the tank. There is litteraly no counterplay against it.
That can be done with many missile vehicles, but the IT-1 combines that with exceptional armour for an ATGM carrier, plus pretty fast turret traverse and the ability to fire on the move. It's one of the only ATGM carriers that can brawl, and definitely one of the best vehicles in the game.

I agree the U-SH 405 is the only tank I've used that was so good every game with it was boring and unbalanced so I took it out of my lineup and replaced it with the bandkanon.
You then are just as unprofessional as spookston, the best vehicle is one that the developers havent made properly allowing people to abuse it? The best vehicles are the most versatile, the ones that carry you and can work every where, vehicles that perform better the better you are and can carry you if you slip up. The ush does none of that, any idiot can drive one and spam rockets at things they see, youre dead if you get seen, youre dead if youre in the open, youre dead if a plane sees you it doesnt even need bombs.
I love the BKAN, but really it’s just not a good tank destroyer. It’s too slow, large, soft, and turns poorly. It’s only good if you can get and hold a position, but it’s too slow to do that. However, it is by far the most fun AA in the game. Watching planes literally disintegrate from 155 mm HE is a riot, I smile with every kill. It just takes a bit of practice to get good at AA with it

I am not sure if the USH could be called the best vehicle, but it definitely is one of the most annoying ones to fight against. Cant count how many times it has caught me off guard, and overall its one bastard of a vehicle. Though, if you catch it before it catches you, they are easy food for anything.
It has very sluggish performance when it comes to mobility and gun handling. The rockets seem bugged - they are not visible in flight.
It's a meme tank that can do well in the right conditions. In no way would I rate it as a top tank myself. Whatever.

I remember when the 906 was at 6.7 and 7.0 with a better shell than the T54s D10T. 120mm@60° back then was ridicules to fight King Tigers almost exclusively.

Bro i was the is-2 u killed in the USH in the first clip, and i remember not hearing a sound from where the first guy was shot, just shows how the sound problems in war thunder affects game balance, great video btw
Personal favourite: GMC M10.
Pros:
76mm cannon that can one-tap most of anything in its br and it even works on a full uptier.
The armour is surprisingly good, especially once you unlock the extra armour tracks which significantly increases the chance to bounce shots. The turret mantel is also pretty tough.
It has a .50 cal, so light vehicles, planes and tracks are easy to deal with.
Has good weapon depression.
Cons:
It ain't the fastest.
The turret is very slow.
There is a good chance that artillery will kill you.
Planes can also easily kill you.
Overpressure is a guaranteed death sentence.
Summary: A pretty decent tank destroyer that punches way above its BR.
IDK, its pretty much a high profile open top STUG with that traverse speed, the gun kicks ass but it really doesn't suit my playstyle, though it can be a formidable tank in the hands of a more passive player.
@@nicolasderra3888 I use it wherever. I think a lot of people get stuck trying to turn the turret when it is faster to turn the entire chassis. Using it like that essentially makes it a high profile stug/stuh.
I am however biased, it is my favourite tank after all. I guess because I use it so regularly my ability to overcome its issues are less prevalent in comparison to newer players, especially German and Russian players who might be more use to flatter SPGs
For me, its only downside is the fact that for some reason it was made a Tier 2 tank so I can't grind events or tasks with it anymore. But yeah, it's really strong, I remember eating tons of shells and not getting a scratch when it still was 3.7

its not hard to kill russian tanks you just mainly rocket them from the bottom so you easily ammo rack them

I coincidentally unlocked and purchased the USH-405 today. In my first game I got 4 kills in the first few minutes on Stalingrad. On top of that, you have the Bkan 1c, Ikv 90, and let’s not forget the SK60B with much better bullpups in the 7.3 lineup
I think the Dalet Torn is super underrated, its got a 5 round autoloader (including round in breach) with a round that can deal with anything at its BR.
Its fast so it allows you to get in a flank position and basically ruin an entire push.
Plus it has a good lineup of 3 other tanks and 2 good CAS planes if you include the BF109

Your gameplay is so fascinating
Not many people talking about the Chaffee. Amazing gun for the tier, really good speed, lowish profile, great maneuverability, and honestly pretty survivable. I almost never die one hit while in it. It’s accessible from almost every tech tree, and comes with spotting. Even the armor can meme around and bounce a shell or two.
Its easier to one shot a tiger than chaffee
I'm not sure I've ever survived a penetrating hit in a Chaffee, except maybe to the engine. The crew is practically sitting in each other's laps. But I agree it's a good tank.
I am absolute dogshit at War Thunder ground RB, but the Chaffee is one of the few tanks I have at least a 2:1 kd with
I think the M4A2 75mm Sherman should’ve at least gotten a mention on this list, it’s a jack of all trades, and you could argue the master of all of them to.
It has amazing mobility and reaction time because of the turret traverse (20.4 degrees a second when fully crewed) and stabilizer.
While the main round on this vehicle(M61 shot) may only have a max of 104mm of pen and go 618 meters a second, 8/10 it’s able to deal with most of your of the enemy tanks you come up against and with the decent explosive power of the M61 shot you’ll be able to constantly get one shots.
The armor, while front on isn’t amazing, you can add extra track armor and angle to make you almost imperious to a lot of the guns you’d encounter at 4.0.
In an uptier it’s also fairly reliable sense you face much of the same enemies you would’ve faced at BR 4.0.
There aren’t many weak spots on this thing when angled other then the turret cheeks.
This analysis of the vehicle is based off of my experience with the vehicle.
Its a great tank but certainly not the best because of russian 85s, 57s, and german 75s.
It's my favorite Sherman and I was DEVASTATED when it got moved to 4.0 from 3.7. Like I still bring it to 4.7 as my 3rd spawn
I think something like a tier list video would be good if you wanted to do a bit longer form videos. Like ranking tank destroyers from best to worst or something and giving a few sentences for each vehicle and why you put it there.
One complaint I have with this game is that the branches don't really have a consistent play style sometimes like after the Ferdinand is the new DF 105 then it's the Jagdtiger which really the DF should had gone over to where all the lights are
The VCC 60mm in the Italian tech tree is also like that. It should just go before the Dardo instead of after the Centauro

I think the M8 car is the best one, great mobility and a cal50 that can kill literally everything in the ground and in the air, plus the 37mm cannon to help with more armored tanks

I have 1644 games in the 75 jumbo. As long as what you're facing can't pen you, no matter how many there are, it is probably the best brawling tank in the game. 5 second reload makes it forgiving as well as the armor, if you know how to position it you can bounce panthers easily, and it has excellent mobility for a heavy. You can push entire spawns solo in it without being killed. I've won 7v1s before in it. Ability to take out the large cannon barrels of German tanks also helps it a lot. But, this is only if you know how to play it right and are fortunate to not face any of the many guns that slice through your front plate. And then theres the fact that panthers (which is probably the vehicle it faces most often) can pen its front plate at close range. It used to be 4.7, back then it was definitely the best tech tree vehicle. It probably belongs at 5.0, but for experienced players it really doesn't matter.
I also LOVE the 75mm Jumbo, Easily my most played and most favorite tank!
they can put it at 8.7 for all I care, I will still be making 16 kill games with that thing. Absolute monster.

I think the T114 is better than USH. It has a less recognizable profile, doesn’t have the same top speed but isn’t as affected by terrain, and makes insane SL

I think the flexibility IFVs offer, coupled with typically low repair costs, make them one of the most fun and effective vehicles. The BMP-1 really shakes up its BR.
I think BR should follow by what they've on board as fully upgraded MBT and a default one is different ball game
The jumbo is really fun and probably my favorite tank in the game. Its just you literally cant play it on long range maps and it seems to exclusively get up tiered, fighting Tiger 2s and IS 2s that have no problem penetrating it anywhere, and that you can only penetrate at spitting distance. The jumbo used to be my goto relaxation tank, but getting a full uptier and a map like maginot line with the USA 5.3 lineup is a very fast way to get a migraine. Id honestly say the Tiger 2 is just more fun and powerful in general, combined with constantly getting down tiered and the H literally not having a frontal weakspot, along with the suspension being so good you basically have a stabilizer Yeah its just better tier for tier.
If anything id say the french jumbo is better, simply for the fact it has a solid long range lineup backing it up so you dont just instantly loose when you dont get a city map.

I love the Soviet BT series, 400hp with a decent cannon for its BR. It’s also fun to use in 5.0 because it can go through almost any side armor and it’s speedy

my pick would have to be the vickers mbt mk1
the very first game I had with it I nearly had a nuke, it's got the perfect mobility, stabilizer and pretty good reaction time with reload rate and turret traverse, and it's shell has no problems going through stuff and dealing plenty of damage, if worse comes to worse, just disable and re-engage since the reload rate is plenty of capable of overwhelming other people

my favorite has got to be the challenger, charioteer, avenger and comet - they're all practically uptier proof. it doesn't matter if you get a full downtier or a full uptier, making them way more relaxing for me, a person trying to be less obsessed with uptiers and downtiers. the guns pack a punch, allowing them to throw down with tanks far above their br, and their roles are the same regardless of where you're at. the challenger was extremely enjoyable with its apds and nice spot at 5.3, and so far im learnring the charioteer with what i got from the challenger. looking forward to the later tanks of the british tech tree, hoping for an enjoyable 7.3-7.7 lineup.

Once in my Jagdtiger I was on the open village side of the Japan map, along with 3 other Tiger II's and a Jagdpanther, when suddenly a wild US-H405 came tearing around the corner.
I managed to hit him with my hull MG, and just managed to reload, but I missed because he was accelerating downhill.
He then proceeded to kill me, *all four Tigers*, and the Jagdpanther, all without even being hit once because of our terrible turret/hull traverse.
He then got about 3 more kills spawncamping for the rest of the match.
That thing could be godlike at literally any BR below 9.7, but for some reason it's 7.7 : /
Personally I think the best tank in the game currently is the Panzer IV/70 hands down. You have insane armor for the BR and an incredible gun. Not only that but it is extremely mobile and can turn very well for a TD.
Surprisingly Jagdpanzer IV is even better because it is 4.3 and I bounce more shots than in heavy tanks. Its even more nimble than the Panzer IV/70. I currently sport it in my 4.3 Pakpuma X Jagdpanzer IV lineup and enemies are getting shrecked.
With a horrible gun arc, shoot the tracks and it's pointless. It's only op on long ranged maps. On city maps, it's not that good
The USH is one of my favorite vehicles I once aced it by getting around on a flank and emptying half my rockets 11/10 tank Swedish black magic ftw

I think you forgot to mention the M4A1 76mm, probably the best tiered US tank in the game. The armor can hold up when angled right against panzer IVs and T-34-85s. It’s greatest weakness however is German TD’s from the front, but this can be overcome with superior tactics and maneuvering. It’s my most played vehicle, and I kinda prefer it over the E8 funnily enough.
never angle an m4a1, the part on the ufp that caves in will become unangled once you angle the tank, making it very easy to kill. the armor can’t hold up against kwk40’s and 85’s, but it does have a nice gun. i think a better us tank would be the ipm1, it is extremely good at its br.
@@siko9799 i disagree. When handling your hull properly, you can bait shots in both urban and open environments. Go on a 10 degree incline, you are practically invulnerable from the front head on to said kwk 40s and the 85mms. 57s are kind derpy and will still easily pen though.
@@thedecisiveraindrop4868 m4a1’s and any non wide track sherman’s really don’t have the best hull traverse, so baiting shots isn’t a good idea. and in urban maps getting a side shot is easy, especially with 85’s and their amazing sloped performance.
@@thedecisiveraindrop4868 I've killed multiple M4A1s today doing KV-1 ZiS-5 (76mm) because of people angling their hulls. In fact almost every Sherman I killed was angling but the spot where the front and side plates meet is a big weak spot. The KV-1 ZiS-5 only has 94mm of pen with aphe too

My favourite is the t34 at 3.7, decent mobility, good armour, and a good penetrating gun that go go through stuff even in an up tier, all round good tank for the br
The Japanese SPAA Ta-Se. A 20mm autocannon with 60+ mm of pen at 1.7 is incredible, especially with its incredible maneuverability and great gun handling. 10+ kill games are common in it.

the late german heavies are under-BR'd when they're in a downtier and should've stuck at 6.3-6.7, but uptiered they're frankly outclassed. Difference between a KT and a Leo is night and day for .3. Managing a 5-1 k/d running the Leo stock atm, mobility is the meta of this game. Most maps encourage combat ranges under 500m, nice and close which I think is silly. I'm one of the few who likes all the desert maps and Maginot because it offers versatility on the map. Additionally there are too many single cap maps where the point is in the middle of a town, you have to be silly to take something as clumsy and lumbering as a KT into a match like that. That's why I often take the puma into 5.7-6.7 matches, very underrated as a support vehicle for scouting, repairing, capturing and harassing. Great counter to the allied light vehicles honestly
The 6.7 to 7.7 part of the BRs is the worst section in the game. Way to much technological improvement jammed too close together. The Leo 1 is under tiered itself.
I absolutely agree with the jumbo, that thing slaps tigers and anything the same tier, but the 88 goes through the front like it’s paper

My pick would have to be the Semovente da 75/46 located at 4.7 in Italy's tt. (although, I do hold the opinion that all Italian Tds rank 2-5 are really good) Italy is my first and only nation and i've reached 9.0 with them. Although i've reached this br, I still play worse than your average American mains punching bag. (tiger rushers) Thats why the 75/46 stands out to me. Getting 7+ kill games is genuinely average in that thing. It has insane armor, a strong gun, and a super low profile. One of the most underrated tanks
also in arcade the USH can get its ammo restocked anywhere on the map.

the best tank is obviously the one my opponents use, meanwhile my tank is obviously the worst tank.
this is true for every game, irrespective of the actual tanks being used.
i feel like jumbo has kinda the same kind of weakness that tigers and panthers have
well not the same level but its popular enough that ppl will learn how to deal with it to their spine
i think the cneturion mk3/caervarvon should have been on this list on the same listing since they are almost the same vehicle. not quite as good at 7.3 as they were at 7.0 but still they can be used in the same line up and both have dual axis stabs with apds and have decent mobility and fire rate. i haven't checked as of late, but last time I checked thunder skill they both had win rates at about 70%. having stabs and apds they can pen literally anything they go up against and can always get the first shot off
edit: although it also seems like gajin stealth nerfed them cause I've noticed the apds gets one shots much less often, probably changed the dmg from post pen and said nothing about it, and the armor seems less trolly. used to be that if you hit 1 pixel off on the turrets the armor thickness would double and bounce anything, now they don't seem to bounce any shells ever, my guess is gajin lower the bullshit stat in the files cause it was bouncing too many russian shells
Having recently unlocked the USH in the hell that is the 76-57 tier, it's an amazing vehicle. Yes the ammo rack is small, but the rounds are great. You average 4-5 kills on a good match.
I think the U-SH is one of those vehicles that's extremely good, but also doesn't feel very nice either to play or to fight. Playing it is like driving a bathtub that only has to be breathed on to explode and relies entirely on getting to good positions and ambushing, but playing against it is totally no fun because quite often with the lack of engine noises, strange propensity for the rockets to leave no smoke trail and also make no noise, and the thing just not appearing very often, means the first you usually know about it is when your tank is ammoracked instantly, or your entire screen filled with explosion effects, it's nuts
So despite being incredibly good it's also incredibly annoying both to use and fight imo
I literally just got my first nuke in the USH last night. Excellent ambush vehicle, but it does have issues with staying power, given that any machine gun can kill you. So once they know where you are, you usually die.

I think if I had to put a commonly seen tank as the best one it would be the Panther F/G/A, the front plate is impervious to 99% of rounds at that BR, the gun has almos 200mm of pen with a decent reload, the gun traverse is pretty good, it has good survivability (I rarely get one shoted) and the mantlet is a hard target at long distances. Love playing it, hate going against it.

@@Hakurou6636 The 5.7 IS2 has ok frontal armor, the turret is as strong as the panther's (I'd say panther is bettter because of smaller 100mm area plus shells interact in a weird way that prevents APHE from oneshoting in the turret) the gun is really strong, but the reload rate is awful, you HAVE you hit your shot. The panther is better in mobility except for reverse (lol). Id rather be a panther facing an IS2 than the opposite, most times I encounter an IS2 I can easily one shot it at any distance.
@@Hakurou6636 It can be hard, especially with volumetric shells, the mounting system for the mantlet makes shells not pen and since the mantlet is further to the front than in other tanks APHE shells have worse performance.
For me it's the Swedish strv1228 PLSS (the leopard 2 s), sherman(76)w or one of the panter tanks btw I really love your content

The Strv 122B PLSS is awesome but the repair cost is way too high while only getting DM33 instead of Slpprj m/95. It's one of the best 11.0 MBTs in my opinion, if they gave it Slpprj m/95 and the Strv 122b+ Evolution armor upgrade as a modification then it would be the best tied with the T-80BVM.

Jumbo surprised me, it's okay ay being a menace to kill for most things. Had a match last night where i bounced 2 ISU-152 shots at blank range and survived, thanks to my squad mates!

It got nice mobility, rarily gets oneshoted and awsome gun with surprisingly good stabilization. Also it fits with t-44, which is awsome as well.
Adding tu-2 and you got one of the most pleasing ways to get endorphin out of this game.
One of my favorite vehicles. The 100mm is so good at 6.3. It’s fast and low profile. The partial turret gives it much more flexibility than the su100. And it’s surprisingly to kill without HE. Lol the engine eats so many shots
personally , i love the M6A1 and M36 , M6A1 because its fairly mobile has a good gun , low speed stab and acceptable armor when you face 4.7-3.7 / M36 because its basically a T25 more mobile at 5.3 , only cons is the open top and lack of armor but the armor is not a big issue
T25 should be 5.7 or 6.0 anyways.
well, other people are commenting their favorite tanks here, so i guess i will as well.
odd choice here, it's the P40. the italian one that people forget exists.
the armor is surprisingly tanky when angled, with the hull being able to stop german long 50s, american 75s, russian 76s, etc. sure, the gun has a low max pen with APCBC, but the effective pen is actually close to what's on the stat card (unlike the previously mentioned long 50) so it can pen a lot of different things like KV-1 side plates, and for what you can't pen you have a HEAT round that is fairly consistent and will go clean through a KV-1's front hull. the top speed is average, but the acceleration is actually pretty good, so in close in situations it doesn't matter too much. the only major problems i can find with it are its poor reverse and turning performance.
(note: i play arcade and i'm fairly inexperienced so that might change something idk)
about the jumbo and overpressure by tigers. I once had a Tiger overpressure me by shooting the transmission case, penetrate it and having all shrapnel absorbed by the transmission. overpressure still killed my crew
Fighting Tigers and Panthers in the Jumbo is a pain but is 100% still possible.
I've found when playing the Jumbo that 75% of the people that shoot me when playing at my BR usually don't know the weak spots on the Shermans, this quickly leads to them getting killed.
The IS2(1944) and IS2 for me personally i have no trouble dealing with the jumbo since i dont really have to aim for the mg port even the mantlet the BR-471B can over match it.

I will keep defending my personal favourite, the Centurion Mk.1. Nobody on UA-cam seems to share my sentiment (at least none of the big players seem to ever play it), but I am sticking with it. Even now at 6.0 it still has almost nothing to worry about when it comes to most enemies. Panthers, Tigers, Tiger 2s, IS-2s and so on are all doable, even at long range. The APDS allows you to engage quickly and confidently even at around 2km, and often you will hit the enemy way before they got their shot off. Mobility isn’t great but alright for it’s BR, survivability is decent, turret traverse is workable and the reload is awesome. I hope it will someday be discovered again by more people.
I knew ush was OP, it can wipe the heaviest of the tanks in 1 rocket cuz of overpressure, but even if u don't hit kill, u normally will kill some important part Dat doesn't allow enemy to shoot back. When I face ush, either I saw it first and hitkill it or it hits kills me, tho now with pt76 57 I don't see ush in Batles anymore, but when I saw, it dominated the killfeed
What is the most *balanced* tank in ground forces?
I would posit the Pz IIIM. Its not invulnerable to anything, the gun is the average standard for the tier, if not slightly worse, and decent mobility that give you an all round good tank. It struggles at penning russian heavies in an uptier, but has decent enough front armor to not worry (70mm spaced with 50mm weakspots) at average combat ranges. It’s average by every metric, not overpowered in any one aspect.
Best tank in WT? Pz.Kpf.W. III Ausf. F.
It has:
- 30mm frontal and side armour,
- 50mm medium-velocity cannon,
- Torsion bar suspension for smooth ride and sometimes even allowing to fire on the move, if driven slowly,
- Powerful engine,
- 5 crew members,
- a BR of 1.3.
Which means:
- Armour can sometimes bounce quite a few shots (Especialyl French),
- Can penetrate every tank it can ecounter frontally at good distances,
- Fire on the move at low speed,
- Average speed in practice about 50 km/h,
- Great survivability,
And again, all of that at 1.3!

For me, best ter vehicles is in rank from 2.7 to 4.7, where 4.7 is not always fun to play due to downter
My best tank is either the Maus or the AVRE. I can work around the Maus' weaknesses most of the time and for the AVRE I've got a custom sight that makes it instantly usable up to about 250m (I just pre aim at like 220m then aim for turret rings, works pretty consistently).
I would not say the Maus is good, but it is a lot of fun. Of course if played right it can be rather effective as it’s hard to kill even in uptiered
Should have mentioned the IT1. Great speed, armor of a medium tank, range isnt an issue, can peek over cover, ESS, can kill pretty much anything it sees. Only real down sides are depression and reload, tho 10 seconds isnt horrible
I feel the IT-1 is overshadowed by the Shturm-S due to the wider range of weaponry, but the IT-1 is by far my favorite ATGM carrier

From every tank i have played i found the Churchill MK VII the best (at its level, obviously). It is slow and don't have a much powerful weapon, BUT has a very, VERY good armor. If you have patience to deal with the speed, know the weak spots of the tanks you will fight against and know how to put the Churchill in a good angle to not get penetrated, it is almost indestructible.
I remember one time i had to deal with 3 to 5 tanks in close range, we fought almost the entire match and no one destroyed me. Also, i remember one time i destroyed 10 T-34 with it (the weak spot of the T-34 is the line between the tower and the hull).
Maybe the Black prince is better than Churchill, but i haven't played with it yet.
My most played tank is M4A3 (76). Even after the raise to 5.7 it's still a beast. When I want to chill and get easy kills, my US 5.7 lineup is my way go.

75 jumbo is really fun, you can take on 2 Tigers at the same in that thing. ive bounced a tiger 2 at close range, if your looking for a fun time this is the tank.
my favorite tanks in war thunder are the bmp2 (for obvious bias reasons) t44 at 6.3 and the t64b ever since the down tier.
T-34 (1940) at 3.3 is stupidly OP. Also considering the fact that most players it fights against are inexperienced, and don't know how to deal with it properly
Great video but I wouldn't put the jumbo in. The reason for this is that every skilled WT player or every player that plays longer will easily destroy it since the area around the maschinegun is easily penetratable and you can one shot the side. The cheeks of the turret are pretty penetratable too.
M18 or M36 or even maybe the T25 and even when it was 5.7 or the panther A or IS-2-1944 centurion mk 3 or idk lol but I’d think it would be cool if spookston make a video of the best tank in each nation and best premium in each nation and the best tank for every rank/BR in each nation

The Panther D is, relative to its BR, the best tank in the 5.0-6.0 BR range. Due to the 76 jumbo and super Pershing being upBRed, it now has practically no counter whatsoever. It’s gun can with almost no exceptions, penetrate any vehicle it comes across at almost any angle. What it lacks in turret traverse it makes up for in neutral steering and its decent handling. When it is used as a long range tank, not pushed into close quarters combat like almost every single German player does, it is completely unstoppable by any other ground vehicles. It’s armor, penetration, and profile are almost perfectly suited to long ranges, and due to the volumetric mantlet, penetrating the turret face in excess of 400m is almost impossible. The sole reason the panther D is 5.3 is due to German teams.
@M S in maps like advance to the rhine, I would wholeheartedly agree that it is an absolute slaughter of the Panthers. On any other map which allows for medium-long range combat such as Normandy, less so. Hell, in maps like sands of Sinai, a team of panthers can practically invalidate everything else.

I haven’t played it after I spaded it at 6.3 but whenever I play my any Soviet tanks in that range, it’s one of the most annoying tanks to fight against.
Every M26 could be a T26E5 so it takes a second to just identify the tank, then you need to hit it with very well aimed shots to go through the armor.
