    I don't know of anyone who's first time out was "perfect", but it is the one that we all remember. The anticipation, excitement and the bit of apprehensive fear, leaves a memorable trip. Congratulations to you both, the adventure has just begun.

    Y’all are brave to go out green in those conditions. Baptism by fire for sure. Great job 👏

    Thats a lot of wind for your first time out. Its tempting to go when you have a day off, but some people only go when they have a day off and good weather. Its usually more relaxing that way. Congrats on getting the 26-X, its the best boat Roger MacGregor ever made.

    Super gutsy (and gusty)! I had too much wind on my first attempt and chickened out where's my 26s🤪

    enjoyed your video. We learned sailing on our Mac 26M--they are tremendously fun and versatile boats. (but yes, read, study and experience and you'll love it) My wife is a better sailor than she knows but we each have our primary routines--I get in trouble when my antics put her past her comfort zone. Communication is paramount--it'll help get you through those occasional 'holy crap' moments! I'll subscribe so that I can check out the rest of your videos.

    Nice! Where did you get the Cupholder in front of the Steering from ?

      @bbserenityadventure  Рік тому

      They have cup holders very similar at West Marine. Not quite sure where the original owners got it from.

    You all did better than us on our first trip out. Glad to see you working together, it will get better and yes, studying some good videos is the quickest and simplest way to get some great sailing info. May God grant you many relaxing trips together.

    I am empressed with how well you handled the boat first time sailing in those conditions. Did I see spay coming off the waves, if so the wend could have been 25 or more. Great video.

    what is your maximum speed knots with that 20hp engine at sea?

    • @bbserenityadventure
      @bbserenityadventure  2 роки тому +1

      We aren't quite sure, we are still working on getting all the correct electronics. Our guess would be around 8-10 knots. Thanks so much for watching!
