MichailPL When he says T-72 there is really T-72 behind him (green one), but after that they show T-55, true.
MichailPL To be fair the one he was standing in front of was in fact a T-72, the tank they panned out to was a T-55 though.
Good work Kaj. I think you are the right person for the job. Not everyone understands hot conflict like a veteran and that usually leads them to ask the wrong questions. Keep it up.
I love the spirit of these soldiers. That's that true African spirit we're born with.
Clean boko haram and make peaceful Nigeria.
Awesome army with good attitude.
Salute from🇮🇳.
Can't help but feel respect and admiration for Private Friday. Good fortune to him and Nigeria
True patriots, all of them. In a world so crushed by horror and sadness, it's great to see positivity aimed squarely at the face of evil.
Nigerian's are the happiest soldiers I've seen.
Love the efforts of the Nigerian defence forces
😭😭😭God bless and protect all nigeria soilders, Amen
I lived in Baga Borno state for four years up to 1985 and used Maiduguri airport for departure to Kano and Lagos and for arrival .It is sad that the area is in trouble.Engr
Nabi Bakhsh
Baga is a no go area now very risky travelling there due to the insurgency .I live in maiduguri borne state capital until last year
It's amazing seeing the morale of these soldiers. They put aside their differences and really fight as brothers. They really are motivated to kill these mindless terrorist slimes. It's seriously a beautiful thing to see.
Am happy seeing this, the newslines in Nigeria will never come this close to help us direct our prayers properly to who needs it, rather lying and asking so much about politics... God will continue to protect every solider
journalism is dead in nigeria
3:44 probably the best part
Almighty God will protect nigeria soldier fighting for this country
Kaj Larsen is a legend!!!!! Balls of steel!!!!!!!!! MOAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are doing some Rambo shit there
“We are brothers” - Exactly!❤️
People like Jeremy are everything that’s good with the world. Fighting side by side with Christians and Muslims against the evil that is boko haram.
chad is a French puppet state, the french have always hated Nigeria because we are the only thing stopping them from truly dominating west Africa
Wow VICE News , good work. I can't wait for the final piece. More news from the African continent is needed please.
Thank you, gallant soldiers. We appreciate your sacrifices.,🙏🏿
Mr.Friday said something that just stuck like glue "I train hard so I fight easy" simply put, and even more bad ass
Much respect to the boys of 103Bn, 72 Bn and all units on Op Zaman Lafiya and thans to Vice News for this brilliant piece. VictoryForNigeria!
PS (that was a T55 not a T72)
You are right its a t55
Agreed, but when he was describing the formation, at time frame 4:11, there could be a T72 or a T64 behind him..... To be fair, at least he got it right that it was a tank! Most reporters describe anything with tracks as a tank...
It's a t-72 tank with a similar feature of the t-55 tank, the variant you see is a t-72m1 tank
Well done respect from scotland
btw that was a T-55A
Irean get to the Hind !
Irean there was actually a t-72 there. when the journalist said t 72 they decided to show the t55 instead
hugh mirin Man I can't believe they still have a T55 running. War museums find it hard to get parts for those early cold war tanks just to put on display.
APPLEPIE978 They produced up to 100,000 T-54/55's, I can't imagine it being because they can't find them but because they're, you know, tanks which not every museum can afford lol
APPLEPIE978 dude 95,000 t-54/55 were produced, the afghan tank division got there tanks from finding them in the desert they found about 228 they aren't that hard to get the parts, ive even seen places were they sell running t-54/55s
Very inspiring; what can we do to help; how can we send aid?
May God bless our Nigeria army
The brother at 3:44 is a real hardcore commando. I am on his side!
lol, this is the best. I slaughter boko haram with this!
PVT Friday sounds like that Bruce Lee motivation video lol
Kudos to Vice and the Nigerian Armed Forces
Damn.
Can't wait for part 3.
Well all eyes are on the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Co. when to be honest, the world needs to open their eyes to WHAT IS ACTUALLY GOING ON!! How could we let this happen for so long? Damnnn. We need leaders like this guy in the video
Sim x Yess but Kim Kardashian got a fine ass.
I doubt Boko haram got that.
But i do whole heartily agree that this is interesting news, its a shame that mainstream media ignores it.
Its like news got a date of expire.
take syria or Ebola as a example, there are more or less no updates on condition/status in country's afflicted with civil war and plague.
Its brainwashing americans.
Sim x Which "guy" are you referring to?
Ericka Mosheshe Private Jeremiah Friday- sorry I was not clear enough haha
Sim x Absolutely, he's my new hero. I spent my teenage years in an all girls school in Nigeria. He and these other heroes are partly fighting for what I, my family and all my classmates took for granted (good old school!) everyday in the 70s in Lagos. God bless them!
Best front lone field reporting I've ever seen
Those rural Nigerian schools destroyed by fighting look better than most urban African schools. I thought Hillery said Bokoharam are fighting because of poverty. Well if they're fighting because of poverty it certainly aint because of Nigerian poverty.
***** makes sense. The area does not look that poor by African standards.
Fake news from him
hillary clinton never said that
Real journalism. Awesome!
When shit hits the fan in their country they don’t run they fight back. Much respect.
If only Bill O' Reilly was there like he was in the Falklands
DuweistwerderBaboist Babo Good one.....except he never went to the falklands.
jesus motherfuckin' christ that was the joke ;)
Hilarious post!
DuweistwerderBaboist Babo If only he went there in the first place...
SaproPhycs Derpy ;)
