Who told you that?, it was an ambush, a surprise attack, in situations like this no one even knows the directions the bullets are coming from. You only hear sounds of bullets. The very fact that no one was killed means that they know their job.

The funding allocated to the nigerian army is more than sufficient enough to invest in technology and vehicles to completely eradicate this banditry/boko haram problem.100 soliders who know how to effectively use drones could easily provide survelliance the areas and take advantage of bandits hideouts or incoming attacks.its really not that complicated or costly.Not to mentioned more vehicles whether they be on ground or in the air could significantly reduce or completely eradicate this banditry problem.

The security personnels needs to organize their ( command and structure ) the security personnels were just running around, no worthy operational tactics..... No discipline whatsoever. Training is the key to any successful counter attack. They need to learn from the U.S.A army operational style.
If they are to send armies for training in the US, only the uneducated repentant Bokoharam they will send, at the end this same US trained will come back and use their knowledge to aid their Bokoharam cronies.
