Thank you so much for the overwhelming response to this campaign, we hit our funding goal in just 2 minutes and sold out of the 500 Super Early Birds in just under 20 minutes.
With about 2,100 people who signed up on our pre-launch page, this has exceeded our wildest expectations, so thank you to everyone who is backing our second campaign, we're immensely grateful.
Thank you for making Carvera Air a reality in record-time.
Stay tuned for more updated videos.
2:08 For everyone out there soldering - don't Inhale those fumes
Gotta get that creativity juice somehow.
i like those smeels

You're not your own fume extractor?
0:30 🤣🤣🤣 The fake typing on the keyboard cracked me up.
LOL!!
I love it too much. It seems perfect for someone like me who is new to CNC.
This is a really exciting project! Exactly the form factor I am looking for as a product developer
Man I really hope this is real and doesn't flop, would be great to have a company make proper CNC machines that are affordable and have the same quality as the highest end enterprise ones sort of like Bambu Lab did to Prusa & Ultimaker
yeah, a desktop cnc router just doesn't cut it, but a real mill jumps the price way too high for nearly all makers. You'd have to have a product ready for market to justify one. A true cnc mill with a desktop footprint and hopefully a sub 5k price would fill a massive gap in the market that's existed for years.
Very cool machine, but there are sooo many issues with this promo ad. Why can't they find someone who has ever built anything (or used a computer) to be the actor?
Or director
lol
What you what him to get pissed and throw the project across the room because he forgot to account for a minor change, or because a value wasn’t tagged and now is incorrect
Then cry for and hour
@@preppertechnicianee6013 I don’t believe that’s what they were suggesting, no.
@@TheOfficialOriginalChad oh ….. so that’s just me ? lol
@@preppertechnicianee6013 no one can answer that…the internet is a large place.
pretty neat, any estimate on the cost to ship to brisbane, australia?
around 350USD
when is the CAM software to be released?
It's under beta testing right now. And it will be very soon.
I'm the 28th view...
Wish I was the 28th backer 😓
it was crazy, i was there at the very beginning, hesitated for one second and i ended up being the 240th or so backer
@@shambles9 I don't even think it took more than 5 min to fully back the project..
Heck I didn't realize the demand for this cnc
metal. I heard this works with soft metals only. no chance of this working with stainless steel?
If time is not crucial and feeds and depths are kept low, it is possible. ua-cam.com/video/CynRyyO4Gko/v-deo.html
@@Makera that’s very promising! Yeah I don’t need a lot of steel and when I do I have time. It’s for personal projects so this could be useful
Yeah, i'll hold off untill the reviews. Id get it for mainly alu, and im quite unsure how well it handles that on the 4th axis.
Will the XYZ probe be available for this?
Yes it will be.
Why is bros shirt so large?
Any chance to send to Brasil?
It's not within the eligible list right now at www.makera.com/pages/countries-eligible-for-shipping
We'll check with shipping agent and keep the list updated.
@@Makera i will love so mutch If this ships to Brazil
$ 350 shipping?!
What ?
Someone has never shipped freight 😂
Looks like a 1/8" chuck - yeah, not great for AL.
No auto tool changer is a huge bummer.
Auto tool changer is not that useful. They did the most important thing, which is a toolless, fast manual change.
id choose langmuirs mr1 machine any day
its 10x the price and size
200w spindle 😂
whaaaaaa????
1/4 horse would be ok for aluminum or brass, but even mild steel would bog down. Have to take some really light cuts.
Doesn't this violate Kickstarters policy against using 3D Renderings? How is this supposed to be delivered?
I don't know about showing the use of the laser without proper eye protection 👀🫠
Vaporware or at best trashware
🤡
They already have a CNC on the market that got kickstarted and has good reviews. So the chance is not 0 but also not high.
stupid actors in this lol, cool machine tho
God forbid they make the frame out of something rigid.
It's die cast and pretty large. Seen it on their website. Those are also pretty thick linear rods.
They used Bambu labs studio lol
They did? How can u tell?
Bambu Labs is just a fork of prusaslicer
@@BGMA01 the physical location not software.
Is it the same company?
@@CallmeBigfat oh! ok :D
Wow that is lot cheaper compared to the competitionr from carbide and bantam tools and as useless for most applications. Too small for meaningful wood projects and too weak for metal work
yeah true, as soon as i saw the linear rods and spindle i was like "yep, another useless cnc"
since the makerdream evo and deskmaster 500 are verry uncommon, so you really have zo go DIY for something better
Etsy selllers are the target audience for this machine; it's budget desktop CNC like those 3020 /vevor etc but with nicer construction and less jank. Trinket factory basically.
All I heard is that it’s better value for money!
