I'm Faren. I big chopped in April 2013. I have medium to low porosity hair, that is super dense at the crown. My haircare regimen includes washing my hair at least once a week, regular treatments (protein, olaplex and bond salve) and trims every 3 months on blown out hair. I am not a hair care professional, and I'm honestly still learning my hair.

I have the k18 detox shampoo and it makes my hair really soft, I leave the shampoo on my hair for several minutes before I rinse it out

I didn’t realize that you had reviewed the K18 shampoo. I just tried it today and I had no tangles. I mean my detangle process was like two strokes of my tangle teezer. My hair is smooth ie no frizz. I hope it looks and feels good when it cures (so to speak) overnight.
K18 is just different! Lol. Let me know how it worked for you!
I recommend detaingling with treatments because brushing the hair smooths product in a different way it smooths the follicles

What is your opinion on the k18 detox shampoo? It has charcoal in it.
I love it! My scalp feels fresh after wards and it doesn't dry my hair out, I even let the shampoo sit for a few minutes before I rinse
You were supposed to leave the k18 in the hair and not wash it out.
Did you miss the part where I explained reaching out to the brand?
You don't have to leave it in. It does everything it's going to in the 4 minutes after you put it on. I also reached out to the brand to clarify this when I first got it, and they said it literally doesn't do anything more after 4 minutes, so you can wash your hair and it doesn't change the effectiveness of the product because it is done working.
