The sound the ring makes is actually quite nostalgic for me lol... my first modpack was a technic pack that had the original EE2 mod that later became ProjectE. I have some very fond memories of this mod. Power Flowers for the win!
The floating bioshroom spores will look really good once you get the trees / little nature area in the middle. I'm doing a similar-ish thing underground facility thing. I've got my above-ground generic medieval/rural area, but now that i'm ready to build an ME system, I want there to be an elevator semi-hidden in one of the buildings that takes you down to a Fallout-style vault, kinda like the one you did in Uncharted Expeditions.
I absolutely love this way of sharing the building process. Because you're not only sharing your thoughts and stream of consciousness, but also how to use the tools in neat and creative ways!
The benefit of having the tools themselves dig out more is that sometime they work nicely with the Ultimine. I recommend trying the Small Tunnel with the right-click ability of the Red Morningstar - absolute destruction.
Hey chosen! Idk if you've ever played fallout 4 but the way you described your idea really reminded me of The Institute. It's a huge underground science complex. Definitely recommend looking at that if you've not seen it

I often feel the same but thankfully it can be improved by simply trying to do it and "exercising" the muscle! I'm trying to exercise it by going into a creative superflat world without structures and trying to build the first thing in my head. I've only kind of built a thing where I can write signs for ideas of things I want to try and build in the world (and it accidentally turned into a chicken temple). A way to try and ease into your first couple of builds would be to look up references and either copy them (no shame) or trying to mash up different elements of different references to get something that you can really start to feel is your own build. It's going to be bad in the beginning but hey it's all for fun anyway so why should it matter if it is bad or not. Eventually through enough practice, you'll build your own stuff that you can be proud of; without thinking, "this is good for what I can do" or "great for a beginner". Takes time just like anything creative but as long as you keep at it then you'll get there! Couple ideas if you're stuck on what to build first: - Wizard tower - Planning room (what are they planning for? what year is it?) - Steampunk library - Kitchen - Your own room or maybe your dream room And if you do use the ideas from above and are stuck after that, look up different artstyles and try to adapt something you have done in one to another. As an example, if you did the wizard tower in a fantasy setting then what would it look like in a futuristic or ancient setting! Anyway, this is all much easier said than done but as long as you "keep on, keeping on" you'll get there one day!
6:20 if you make the swiftwolf ring into a ring of arcana, then it doesn't need a power source for any of it's functions. meaning you won't need to carry the klein star. i do still carry a klein star because i keep the catalytic lens for super easy mining. but it's still good to make the ring of arcana so you're not wasting EMC on flight.
By the time you have millions it's barely any EMC to fly. I will take a stack of alchemical coal and it lasts for ages, and that gets paid off by a mob farm in a new minutes. Ring of Arcana is a good upgrade though.
you don't actually need any matter transmitters or a dialing device. there's an item for that... the charged porter, and the advanced charged porter (stores 8 locations).
I forget which quest I turned in though I got sooo lucky for reward and got the Transmutation Interface. Talk about a game changer being able to have access to all my EMC learned items for crafting!
I love playing while watching a video learning new things in your pack its awesome. (also you should add iron jet packs [personal opinion moving far distances is hard]) but there is probably other stuff I haven't played long in the pack only 10 hours

My family has been playing through the modpack and have had a blast. It's inspired me to make my own. If you could help- how do you put the custom background graphics on the quest pages? This seems to be the best kept ftb secret as I can't find the answer. I can get screenshots and images into the quest descriptions no problem but when I right click on the background to add an image there is no image option. (I must have watched that section of your devlog frame by frame eight times to see what you did.) I know you're busy, so thanks for the time.
Great pack, though I have been taking Ls left and right. Bad luck on rewards and my fortress doesn't have a portal that I can tell. Waiting on that episode to see if in just missing something 😂
It’s hidden in the elevator shaft. There will be a sign saying something like “don’t enter” or something similar and then you’ll reach a maze area and once you’re through that the end portal will be right there.
Hey chosen, might be worth looking into abyssite blocks or whatevers its called that requires prismarine, the blocks glow and look incredible for an underwater base.
the swiftwolf also negates fall dmg. i dont know how you have the time project architect 2, Vault hunter SMP and editing im sure the wifey an kids would love to see you too so wow boy you be busy
Anyone else having a problem with the transmutation GUI closing if you search for anything involving the letter E ? It's so annoying and I have looked in the keybinds but didn't find anything.
It can but I believe it can be disabled in pack config. Not sure for this pack specifically. I've not gotten that far yet, but I do have source production setup and drygmy tokens, so an Ars mob farm is very close. If that doesn't work for stars, there's at least foregoing for wither farming.

I encountered the Chaos Dragon in The End last night and freaked out. I put a waypoint down then flew away like a bat out of hell.

You need to click on the speaker in the bottom right. You probably have it set to do not muffle, I had tve same problem😅
