Sounds like you are moving in the right direction. Making improvements but not going crazy. Those Devon Reds are some nice looking animals. Tasty looking as well.
Great vid 👍 plans are coming together nicely just one thing I would think about is putting a roof over that manure storage otherwise you'll have rain water going on to it and you'll have a dirty water problem 😮
Great to see your progressing. If your wanting to expand would you not be better buying phils cattle of him. less chance of bringing in health problems. Just a thought. Would love my own place
Thanks Zac, yes we will have whatever young stock he has about next year too, but we would also like to make full use of the shed. Phil is planning to sell cows with calves at foot which will free up shed space this time next year! 👍🏼
Hi Josh nice one what a great little place you have there. That will be good to have a midden at the end of the shed, it's frightening how much material etc costs even second hand stuff. Years ago I gave away lot's of old rail way sleepers away no body wanted them😮 I've given away lot's of thing that would have been for you but your 20 years to late 😢 never mind Josh you will get there I can bet on that. Take care all the very best.
Instead of making a dung pit could ye use the last bay of the shed. That means you’d have no effluent to contain as the roof would keep away the rain water. We’ve a 30ftx30ft dungsted and you’d be suprised how much water you’ve to contain. Although you know that from your day job. Keep up the good work.
Your working me too hard Josh with have two videos to watch in the one day, but the plus was, the JMF after breakfast and the BMP after lunch 🙂. Being an old bugger and having worked with both concrete and sleeper walls, my preference would be to try and get the concrete if you can, as modern sleepers are not great. In the old days we used to pour our old engine oil over them after every engine oil change, but the eviro guys would have you now if you done that. Thanks Fraser.
One question who repaired the roof I'm not a million miles from you and have the same problem and was wondering who to use as it's hard to find people who will do a small job tia
Great to see two friends working together and having a laugh at the same time
Thanks Stuart! Thats us!
Thanks ever so much for watching
Its good to see the straw bedded by hand leaving it long rather than turning it in to dust with a bale chopper.
🙌🏼🙌🏼

Thanks Eric! They sure are tasty, I can confirm! 😂
Exciting plans. Good luck with it all, and don't spend too much money! ;)
Thanks! Don’t worry, we won’t! 😂
The more i see them ruby reds, the more i like them, excellent video.
They are little beauty’s!
Great Sunday morning video looking forward to seeing you progress in the new venture best wishes to all 👍
Thanks Paul appreciate it! 🙌🏼
Thanks watching and for your best wishes
Great video . Looking forward to the future progress
Thank you very much! 🙌🏼👍🏼
Great video Josh 👌
Thanks Gary! 🙌🏼
One day at a time and your get things the way you want it guys.
Yep I agree! The muck bund is a relatively easy and cheap one to start with! 👍🏼
Sleepers are not what they used to be. If you can get a cut down concrete panel go for it. Dung and wood is a recipe for rot.😊
Good luck.😊
Agreed! Would have to find some of the old railway ones!
Yep...indeed
Another great video josh you should get a bob cat or a mustang for cleaning out the shed nice to see Dr Phil 👍👍👍
Have to ask Farmer P nicely for his!
Great video looking forward to seeing the progress 👍
Thanks Philip!
Started watching josh you two make a good team .with Dr Phil.
Thanks Abbie!
Nice to hear from you Abbie
Well done great video, lovely to hear all your hopes and dreams
Thanks Toni! 🙌🏼👍🏼

Yes good idea! Thanks Antony! 👍🏼
I think I watching JM Farming. Good content cracking on team. Mr gus not happy having to stay in the truck
He’s management now so stayed at his desk!
Ta for tuning in

Will have to add a new channel sticker to your truck window.
Will have to get some made first! 🤦🏼♂️😂
Nice idea... I'll talk to my people...

Thanks John! I keep a sharp eye on Facebook marketplace and the farmers free ads for any bargains! There’s always some about! 👍🏼
I might have a few bits and pieces in stock...
Concrete lego blocks would make a better muck midding the Concrete panels if you pushing against them too hard will crack when your getting muck out
Makes it a lot more expensive buying blocks though 🙃
@BackMyPlace long term investment 😜😜😜

The only issue with that is I want to maximise the space in the shed next year and fill it with cattle. But yes would much rather it be covered
Dont think you would regret going 20 by 20
Bigger is better as they say!
A little Bob cat be handy for you josh ...
Would be very handy!

@@BusywithDrPhil Thanks Josh, will get the beer and watch 🙂

This time next year ye I'll be millionaire's. Now! Who's Del and who's Rodney🤔
Be rich with cow shit if nothing else!
How many concrete panels can you damage during the week...? Be a shame to waste them and smash them up when the main farm replace them... 🤔😉
Haha! Can you imagine that! 😂
I see where you're going with this...😉
Shed and yard is bad for a tidy
