You don’t want to harm your health with bad ingredients. If price and taste is a big issue just eat real food instead. Protein is only one part of what your body needs. You need a lot more.
Also you can add some frozen fruits to help a tasteless protein powder or do what I do and have a ratio of 4/5ths protein powder 1/5ths fruit powder in a gallon sized container/bag.
No dude lol taste and price are a factor but you need to be teaching the newbies about the different forms of protein, the pros and cons about them and also warning them about amino spiking so they don't get scammed.

I love Body Fortress. I usually get vanilla and you can altar or enhance the flavors with Splenda or some sugar free chocolate or Carmel syrup or fruit.
The "Body Fortress Isolate Protein" tastes like a plant-based protein. There's another version "Body Fortress Whey Protein" That's sold at Walmart, they look exactly alike but, it tastes significantly better. I purchased the "Isolate" by accident and immediately noticed the taste difference but, it has better macros than the Whey version.
I was drinking body fortress for about 5 months. I stopped working out for two months because I was traveling a lot so I stopped my protein drinks and I just got back on recently and MAN. NO. the taste is just horrible, I can’t drink it without gagging. It used to be my favorite because I saw real results without being bloated, it wasn’t chunky and all while getting some of my nutrients. But now, I have to venture out and it’s going to be rough because I can’t stand artificial flavors. Thanks though this was beneficial
Vanilla Body fortress is the best tasting it's actually the most expensive on my side of the country where the other protein powders are 20-22$ , b.f is 25-27$.
I make strawberry banana smoothies with milk and blend in 2 scoops of any flavored powder, I have the ryse chocolate peanut butter cup and it makes my smoothies so much better.
That particular ryse he picked up , take a scoop and mix it greek yogurt (vanilla)w/blueberries and a FEW chocolate peanut butter cookies DO BLEND mix it up in a bowl.....thank me later
Also if you have a weak stomach or have a problem with the chalkiness of protein powder get whey protein isolate in stead of concentrate. You’ll thank me later.
The most important thing is quality and getting what you paid for. I always look at the ingredients. Protien isnt the first ingredient on the label its trash, if maltodextrin is high on that list thats just empty sugar used to fluff the container.
My local discount store has protein cereal for $1.49! And sometimes they get huge shipments of protein bars which go into their 6/$1 bin. I got 60 protein bars for $10!
Eating healthy, especially back in the old days, was never supposed to taste the best... we've been accustomed to if it doesn't taste good it's not good enough for us when that's not true. Obviously you have a little bit of flavor in stuff bit I've grown super accustomed to eating whole wheat toast which is only 60 calories per slice but fills you up like it's 200. If you get your body back into eating foods that don't taste good but are really good for you, you'll start to have those foods grow on you.
The muscle milk series is the best tasting and best ingredients I’m opinion. The pro series is even better, if you have to get protein at Walmart or are on a budget
I mix it into a smoothie so idk what it actually tastes like. I heard Optimum Nutrition is a bit better so might try it after I get done with this one.
I got sum to help the taste get the nerds cherry 0 sugar drink mix for like 1.20 for a 10 pack and mix that shit in still chalky but it tastes 100 times better

What I've learned about proteins. WHEY protein is largely denatured through processing. SOY proteins should be non GMO and free of pesticides. Guys avoid soy because it's estrogenic. Vegetable protein- look for non GMO ingredients. Pea Protein- an excellent choice if organic, nonGMO. Pea Protein has complete amino acids. Just my 5 cents.
Ascent Protein has a decent taste and it doesn’t have all the chemicals and artificial sweeteners in it like some of the others. I typically go with Vanilla and blend in some frozen fruits, berries, milk (oat, almond, coconut, I personally use Fair Life 0% ) and some chia or flax seed. My favorite tasting is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard but it does have Sucralose and Acesulfame potassium which can be carcinogen and can cause glucose intolerance.

This is exactly what I do. Get flavorless clean protein and blend it with fruits, powered peanut butter, and coffee.
