Hi Alex, Just one more question. Watched both videos and wonder, how do you get the carbon fabric, especially the Wide plaid checkerboard weave not to fray. I mark out the pattern then lay really thin strip of masking tape around perimeter otherwise it frays sooo easily. Wisdom please… Thanks David H
Hi Alex, a couple of questions. How do you paint the mold? Do you use wax or PVA as a release agent?. Do you simply spray paint over the top of the release agent? If you use pva then how do you tape down stripes spray over the tape and then pull off the tape how do you do this without pulling up the dried pva film? Thanks
Very niche for sharing
Cool thanks for sharing!
For the fuse do you have one overlap on the top side of one mould and one overlap on the bottom side of the other mould to make the join?
Yup, youre spot on
Nice... how do you seal your aileron? The opposite side of the kevlar hinge.
Will come in a future video 😉

Light coat of spray adhesive of hair-spray works wonders to hold the weaves together. A nice sharp roller cutter on a cutting mat or MDF as welll
