You're Wrong. Minecraft Is Not Dying

- Everyone keeps saying "Minecraft is Dying", but they are wrong.
Ignore what the UA-camrs are saying, the game is very alive and well. Minecraft is still one of the most popular games, despite what commentary channels say.
Also, credit to Mogswamp for letting me use his clips to add context behind keeping the passion for playing Minecraft alive :)

Thst will take a long time
I have wayyy too many challenges and builds planned for my survival world to ever run out of ideas. Ive never complained about mojang ‘not adding enough’. Theres plenty of things of things from previous updates i can still do yet. The only thing that limits how much I enjoy the game is how much spare time I have to play it
That's really cool to hear! I still have so many things I want to do, but of course time is not always available.
Lately, I've been running through Beta 1.8 to get some nostalgic rush, then slowly updating the world after I've explored enough terrain (trying to get a mixed generation world) :)
Facts. Some people just lack the creativity, and I honestly feel like alot of people just don't know what else to complain about.
@@tsuketsu9889You are right. People seem to think Mojang is the only one who can make Minecraft better but the reason Minecraft was a success was because of us, the players and our creativity. The Ender dimension is not the end there is still so much more we haven't covered.
Exactly
they just need to fix up the optimizations for java, other than that, it is and always a perfect game, and it's not dying
The game is as fun as you make it! Especially, with modding available and friends you can literally do anything. Sometime even putting your own rules in place can help!
Also, many people have been having a blast with the update with just one feature alone. The recent item, wind charge, changes so many aspects of the game that it makes parkour, redstone, survival, and even PvP way more fun
Yes . As a bedrock player, I am looking forward to play minecraft as they have recently officially conformed hardcore mode fore bedrock and will be coming this year.
finally someone said it
only minecraft commentary channel i still watch
that means a great deal to me!
I'm sure there are other channels out there worth watching though :)
@@FizzyBangeru so modest😅
I'm glad someone finally made this video. Left and right I see people say minecraft isn't fun, there's a problem with the game, multi-player is impossible, etc. If the game isn't fun anymore, then why have I been having fun with it for years? Why do I still have fun playing vanilla with my friends, or playing modded by myself, or doing something else?
The game has never died for me. If anything, it's as alive as ever
Oh
My thoughts exactly. I hoped my video would counter all the noise. Minecraft is still fun for millions of people, and while a few UA-camrs say the game isn't fun, there are countless people enjoying the game.
Me who never even thought of minecraft dying:
No, I am not wrong. I don't even think it is even dying.
Pretty sure Minecraft is still The most popular game or atleast one of the most popular games
It’s ridiculous how over adhd a lot of minecraft thumbnails are now, kids don’t need crap like they to find something entertaining
Remember what most Minecraft UA-camrs thumbnail’s were like during the golden era of 2012-2014, they were simple yet most of the audience was younger, we all watched them
Yeah, the oversaturated, cartoonish Minecraft thumbnails really annoy me.
I get they are effective from a psychological point (bright colors = clicks?), but I miss the old thumbnails.
Luckily though, nostalgic content is making a comeback. And UA-cam has an algorithm that is so well-tuned to the user, storytelling is starting to be more important than flashy edits and thumbnails.
@@FizzyBangerlittle Leah is very questionable
I have ADHD and please... dont blame it on that, you clearly dont even know what ADHD is so dont get into that. I dont like that kind of content. Kids just like oversaturated colorful things thats all.
I recently lost all my worlds in a weird circumstance and started again. But I was very unmotivated. I thought it was because I lost everything but I realized it was because I was playing the same way I always did. So I started a completely new concept for my world and have been having a blast. I am actually looking forward to each new project with excitement I've néver felt in this game.
for someone just starting out on minecraft java content being worried that i was too late on growing an audience, this really helped me realized i probably don't need that much quality in my videos yet. Just originality. thanks for showing me this silly recommended feed.
The only thing that kills my enjoyment is being forced to set up servers, button mapping so I can use a controller and manually putting a water border around my world if I want limited size, etc
I miss Legacy Console where everything just worked. Not buggy as hell like Bedrock or a huge pain to set up like Java
Once I do set it up though, it's as good as ever
Oh
You mean for example setting up XBox controller for Java edition?
@@mastermati773 Yeah
I saved a layout to make it easier
Love this. As someone whose channel is all about rediscovering the joy of "old school" Minecraft, this really hits home. "The only limit is your imagination!"
SOUP SOUP!!!!! LOve your videos
Thanks for letting this be known! It’s been bugging me for a while that people keep talking like the game is horrible and not fun. Even people close to me who I’ve played with for years have started claiming it’s the end and it really isn’t.
You are right
it is for them not you
I just want Minecraft Story Mode 3. When we get that I'll play minecraft again. (I know that a few voice actors are unavailable or dead but I feel that It's still possible to bring it back.)
I have been playing Minecraft for about five years. Being retired and in my sixties, it helps keep my mind active and I love it !!! Thank you !
thats awesome!
I love how Minecraft has transcended to becoming a game that everyone enjoys. I'm sure everyone will continue to enjoy it in the future :)
You can't be the single most popular game of all time, with regular yearly updates, with UA-camrs still making videos about it, and players playing it daily, and still be considered a "dead game" all at the time. Its ridiculous.
5:47 I have been playing Minecraft since 2011 when Minecraft LITE came out. I’ve played Minecraft for a very long time I never stuck to another game that long, I probably have hundreds if not thousands of hours in it, and I eventually slowed down, I rarely play Minecraft anymore. But I can’t complain about bot much new coming to the game when I payed like $20 for it and had thousands of hours of it. When I bought JSAB for about the same price and was satisfied with only 37 hours in it. I love seeing new content from it, and I love seeing it grow, but I can’t complain even if it suddenly stopped getting updates entirely, because I got well over my moneys worth. But I would be sad to see it go.
6:20
I have experienced this myself, and second what Mogswamp said, because for me, the longest Minecraft gaming span was during a certain incident in 2020, and is when I made the most progress in my Minecraft world. I had the world before, but never had proper time to do things in it, because of parents, and life. Then came 2022, and while I didn't exactly get bored of Minecraft, I did feel a fatigue growing. Then came school and life again, and I had less and less time, and sort of, almost forgot about my world. I started playing other games like Cuphead, Fortnite, Genshin Impact, and to this day, I still do play them, for the small amount of free time I get a day 😂
But then I started watching more and more Minecraft content, around the day the whole 100 days trend was everywhere, I started collecting more and more ideas on a list that popped into my head, and sort of "motivated" me to do those things in my world. And, while it's taking a while to tick those things off my list because I have a life, it still feels fun, and fresh, and better, because I didn't just start a new world to do the usual Minecraft cycle of grinding for gear, enchants, ender dragon etc. The game certainly isn't dead. Sometimes we have just been playing it for too long back to back, and feels boring. Right now, my big project is building the Burj Khalifa in my world, and have even considered just making a video out of it, not for fame or views, just for the heck of it, to see the progress myself 😄
I do wish I had the time to just continuously work on it with no interruptions, but little by little is still fun and enjoyable 😊
Not to mention all the planning beforehand 😂
Building the Burj Khalifa is crazy ambitious, that'll definitely keep you occupied!
So glad to hear someone try out forging your own path with ideas you've taken from your day-to-day. It certainly is better to have your own direction, rather than following the traditional Minecraft Survival progression.
@@FizzyBanger it is better to forge my own direction, but the traditional Minecraft survival progression is still necessary to have a certain foundation to start on (such as farms, equipment etc.)
While I am making my own path, there are still many elements of Basic Minecraft survival progression (e.g. my last project was an almost too powerful shulker farm), but I try to apply a twist when upgrading things or making them look better, (similar to the 100 days videos 😆 I have a plan where I want to build a sort of "statue" under it to make it look like an enderman is holding a purpur block), by either getting inspired by something, or based on my personal likings. For example, when I want to build a fire station, I plan on building a Ghostbusters building, because it's one of my most liked movie franchises. Police station - Brooklyn 99 precinct and so on. I try not to fully copy other UA-camrs where possible. Just inspired. If I can't because I can't think of an alternative or just really like it how it is, I may copy it, with or without adjustments.
subbing, i wanna see that!
@@faloberrow9250 well, I guess I have no other choice, I HAVE to make a video now lol. Have to keep the fans happy 🤣
Expect it in a year or so because as I mentioned, I don't exactly have a lot of time to play, let alone record and then edit.
@@JHak909 I don't think you have to edit much
i think most people that call Minecraft boring are actively waiting on Mojang to add a new update instead of working with the blocks and features they have or are extrinsically motivated (they like games that tell them what to do, not ones that leave it up to you), and I think Minecraft is mostly about finding things to build and create, the developers' goal wasn't to make Minecraft strictly a survival game, rather a sandbox game.
If you want some actual minecraft content like playthroughs i would recommend calvins from the fog series its a really good series and is a breath of life from all the 100 days content and escape room content in minecraft
I'll check it out, and hopefully others do too! Thanks :)
I always just watch Minecraft videos I see on my home page because when you search Minecraft on UA-cam it comes up with 90% content for 3 year olds or videos I have already seen
0:28 it’s really hard to keep these two things in balance, people don’t want Minecraft to change much, and at the same time they complain Minecraft doesn’t change more. Microsoft is afraid of what Minecraft has had all those years ago. They have to put so much effort into making sure everything they add fits into the game. Mods don’t have to worry about thing about making the game not feel “Mine-crafty” enough. But it would be super bad if you had to install mods to remove things from the game you’re not happy about. Think about it like that every thing that comes to the base game has made it through many filters before reaching that point and many many ideas get thrown away. That’s why the April fools updates are so good, because there isn’t a restriction holding everything down. What gets added in the April Fool’s update ultimately doesn’t matter and doesn’t affect the game.
I totally agree with the "spending more time in 1 world" Me and my best friends started playing minecraft in 2018 / 2019 and it's how we became friends. We started on a Kingdom server and then when the server reset we made a world download for memories and restarted, when the server restarted again we decided to play on our own server and we are still working on our kingdom to this day with even combining our old kingdom to the new one, and now also adding mods in the mix to make it even better.
Currently we are on a small break with playing it to get new ideas like you said in your video too, and it's exciting cause we told ourselfs to start again in summer holidays! So super excited for that, and also, amazing video, agree very much on it, as a person who thought minecraft was gonna die about 4 years ago, I can say I was proven wrong!
Minecraft knows about it losing popularity but they always pull some big update together in a dark age like the aquatic update and the nether update
Yeah you definitely changed my mind about Minecraft. Minecraft is not even close to dying. till this day I still like to play Minecraft, I just ran out of Ideas what to do in Minecraft
think new ideas... the world is infinite so why build in only one spot?
I've been playing the game for 12 years and yes I have been there when I've got bored. But like you said it was my problem that I was bored. I had to inspire myself, and I did. But It breaks my heart to know what people are saying these days. Thanks bro for doing this video
I started playing Minecraft in early 2020 , almost four years now , and i have one hardcore world which i created in 2022 and am still playing on it , have survived for almost 300 minecraft days and build amazing things , and will continue to do so until i die either in game or irl . So my message is that you don't have to play everyday , you can take breaks in or out of the game like bedwars or another video or outdoor activities. I also have an smp rn and play sports but am still passionate for
My world and the game itself.
i only played survival a few times cuz i sucked but when ever my cousins come around they make me play survival and give me goals
Ethoslab is more proof of classic Minecraft with minimal editing and thumbnail work.
For me regular vanilla survival is indeed quite boring, but that's when modpacks come in. Mods are a huge part of Minecraft nowdays, and thats great! Modpacks have got me back the motivation to actually play the game. Modpacks can be fun alone, but if you have 1 - 2 friends, it's way more fun, beating bosses, exploring, building and most importantly QUESTS. I usually play modpacks with around 250 - 300 mods and I can never run out of ideas to do when the modpacks are also getting updates. PvP has also gave me some motivation playing silly kits in PvP Legacy with friends, but it's becoming a bit boring and when im bored I can just boot up a modpack and start playing 👍
If you ever get bored of doing stuff in a world you have had for a long time, try speedrunning! Every seed is different, and you always have a different experience. Once you have been speedrunning a bit, you'll get the inspiration to start playing survival again. Just don't get burnt out on speedrunning cause that is very easy to do after a while. Trust me, I quit UA-cam for like 6 months after getting burnt out on speedruns
I have to agree, i haven't had much fun playing Minecraft but when you talked about the creativity and imagination it reminded me of when i was younger and the game came out and i would just go into creative and build the most random things that didnt make sense. This video game me hope that i can get back into Minecraft 👍
I think the greatest way to find fun is Minecraft is in engaging with your creativity. I lost my ability to “be creative” a few years ago, and in 2022, I decided I wanted to try to improve on it. Now, I’m constantly running with ideas and having an absolute blast playing, as well as the added joy in sharing my experience with others.
Bruh, this channel deserve 500k sub rn
How much effort you put on this video?
2 weeks to finish the whole video. However, research happened a bit before that.
Honestly i wasnt having fun for a while, but then i realized i had a 3 year old world with a bunch of stuff, so now its all ive been playing, just building and making huge farms is fun for me
You encouraged me to start a Minecraft world again. I had stopped playing a couole of years ago due to studies but I think now is the time I statt again
I'd make a new world because my old one has memories with my friends which I want to conserve as it is
It technically isn't dying... But the direction the game is going towards is not good either and that may be the very thing that'll dwindle down the user base of the game.
They're taking it safe with the updates ever since 1.16. The base experience hasn't changed much. They don't have to of course, but they're not adding up to it either. You can only come up with creativity so much. We need goofier updates instead of safe ones. 1.21 may be really fun because of that
I agree. In all honesty, I think I went a bit too defensive of the idea that Minecraft isn't dying in this video. I should have more properly aired the concerns about recent updates lacking content. I think 1.21 might be a shift in the right direction, because I'm hyped for all the new content I've seen in snapshots.
Mojang definitely went too lax with content, but I've been having the most fun with the game regardless of the direction taken. I don't expect everyone to agree, but it was worth trying to make a commentary to counter all the "Minecraft is Dying because of _____" noise.
@@FizzyBanger Minecraft isn't dying per se, it's stagnating to an unhealthy degree

"You dont quit Minecraft, you just take a long break from the game"
- A wise man -
Real
I think alot of people just got very short attention span and want new content to have something to play with and claims the game is "dying". Been playing this game since 2012 and have and still have a blast playing this game. Having multiple projects to work on is super fun, if one gets bored of singleplayer, just make or join a smp, been hosting one for about a year now which have been alot of fun. There is tons of modpacks like Vault Hunters, feed the beast etc to spice it up if tired of vanilla. If you get burnt out of the game, just play other games, everyone needs a break from it at one point, be it a week or a year.
Great video! My passion for Minecraft has never been higher.
You know @FizzyBanger you've made an excellent point I've tried to make in some of my own stuff. It's enjoyable, but its up to us whether or not we decide to do something about it or not.
The whole ‘sToP tHe MoB vOtE’ thing was really driving me crazy. Imo the devs have been really good lately at really thinking through features and only adding ones that will be relevant years later. I’m not against Minecraft changing, but this is so childish for everyone and their dog to be protesting like that until they get their way. And tbh all the mob vote mobs this year kind of look like something we’ll forget about 2 weeks after they’re released.
I really feel bad for mojang. Despite what a lot of the community thinks, they actually do care about us a lot more than most devs
"Imo the devs have been really good lately at really thinking through features and only adding ones that will be relevant years later" Do they though??? Over the past few updates they've been doing a terrible job of adding features, they've been adding tons of features that are either useless, bloat the item count, are copypastes of existing blocks, and features that aren't cohesive to the game at all. Armadillos for example could've had all of their mechanics added to sea turtles which desperately need something useful
@@EmperorPenguin1217how have they done a terrible job if the features are good
Oxymorob
@@EmperorPenguin1217also not they don't want you to abuse sea turtles and they don't eat spiders
@@catsdogswoof3968 "how have they done a terrible job if the features are good Oxymorob" Because the features are generally not good, except for stuff like calibrated sculk sensors and wind charges. Crashing nine planes but landing one doesn't make you a good pilot
They don't want you to abuse sea turtles??? That already drops scutes??? In the same game where you can bait a goat to break off body parts and feed lava to frogs??? Yeah they don't eat spiders but the point is that with turtles around armadillos aren't needed

GGS ON 100K SUBSCRIBERS!!
As I was just trying to give up my ~3 years smp with the current 6 months long world, UA-cam suggested me video. Minecraft was never boring for me, but I often exhausted from it instead. I always tryna make my projects big, good, making the smp fun, attracting players. To the extend I forget about the core of Minecraft, or even just games is meant to be, fun. It became something like a job that I would earn nothing from it, and when other real life stacks up, I have to give up all my projects.
But I'll never give up Minecraft
I may take a break
I may pause for the years
But I'll definitely come back.
"How can a game about creativity be boring at the first place?"
I hate when people say a game is dying just because it's not trending online. Even when Minecraft was "dead" about a decade ago it still had a MASSIVE player base and was one of the top ten bestselling games of all time before eventually taking the number one spot. Minecraft never stopped being popular, but people seem to think nowadays that if UA-cam and Twitter aren't talking about it, then that means no one must like it anymore.
i agree
this will blow up, seo/thumbnail/idea/title and the video itself is great.
I have too many build ideas to implement in Minecraft so its quite impossible for me to run dry of stuff to do. Not helped that I enjoy building a lot, naming towns and also creating very cozy places in general. Also, if ever I grow tired of vanilla Minecraft... that's where Modded Minecraft comes in the picture as a nice way to refresh myself.
Also I have art and other videogames to play so there's that too whenever I'm on a Minecraft break.
Also my own two cents, why folks lose their passion in playing Minecraft? My guess is that they have optimized their plays to the point that it sucked out the fun. They became too efficient that it bores them.
Whats your "Magnum Opus" Build? Mine is an Asian Steampunk City.
good video!! what is the soundtrack at the ending minutes of the video? it’s familiar but i cant remember it
its called Welcome to Paradise by Emile van Krieken. It was used in the soundtrack for the Aether mod :)
@@FizzyBanger thank you so much. now that i think about it, i should have known that.
Minecraft always bring me a lot of memories such as adventures with my friends ,my build ,all the great memories.
GG on 100k subs Also GREAT video
3:16 I see what you mean, and I agree that people who do it as a hobby shouldn't discard all their creativity. But, as someone pointed out in their video, the main problem is "am I willing to risk my money?" The people who are big and are doing this as their job are risking their money if they try something new. If the algorithm isn't merciful, they don't earn money.
5:31 I couldn't agree more. I'm a creative/cheats on player. I don't feel like playing basic survival. The game still has a lot I could try. I just don't really want to do it.
I'd say to add to the 2020 - 2024 google trends point as well, we're comparing minecraft to dsmp, mahhunt, and rona peaks, which was literally a pandemic allowing people to have all the free time in the world to watch stuff with. Lotta external factors too. :d
Bro, I did notice that smaller channels are getting recommended to me more which was amazing, original or unique content that I really enjoyed
I started thinking negatively about the game because of the videos about minecraft dying or whatever
But then after that people made videos about that it isn’t actually dead or boring
And to be honest yes I do stop playing the game, but I find myself ALWAYS coming back to it, I also discovered the rushing it (or any game) is bad and how it can get boring
So I try to not do that and really just take my time
I also made a creative server with friends to make so many stuff I wanted to do, not something new I did because I loved creative because I have access to everything and I can build whatever I want easily
Survival is great too, minecraft is just always replayable, and I’m glad there are people who agree that minecraft isn’t dead or boring really, that can happen with any game (getting bored of it) but minecraft is different because It’s kinda timeless, always replayable, you can come back to it at anytime, and YOU are in control of the events and things that’s gonna happen or you’re going to do.
It is truly a great game and will live on and hopefully new people will discover it aswell and have an amazing experience
This Game will stay timeless!
Been playing Minecraft for 9 years now, I have got a lot of burn outs but then I enjoyed it more because of all the updates and building stuff and servers if you burn out maybe try multiplayer, like a smp with your friends! Or maybe play hypixel or a server of your choice or just play modded Minecraft the possibility's are endless.
bruh this literally happened after 2013 yet people are still surprised by the cycle of playing and taking a break
Glad you recognized Niko
As someone who's very bad at the game, I take the game very very slow. I see people beat the dragon in minutes, some in hours, some in just a few irl days. Me? Fastest time I beat the dragon was 6 months irl. In those 6 months, I discovered so many things, explored, learned, everything, and there's still more to learn. I realized that minecraft is a sandbox game, not a competition game. Hypixel started to get boring and annoying, and switching to just playing survival all the time really helped make the game more fun. I have been playing minecraft for almost a decade now, 7 years of it first in mcpe, and 3 latest years in java, and I did get bored and took a break but because I take the game slow, I found it easy to get back to what I was doing. The burnout wasn't much of a big deal.
I remember me and my friend were playing in pvplegacy, that's where I felt a really bad burnout. He also felt the same and left minecraft for good. I just took a very long break and went back to survival and redstone, and it felt refreshing. Imo you can do whatever you want from competitive to sandbox. For me, sandbox is perfect. Choose what you want to do, everything is up to you, and you will decide if you wanna make the game feel boring or not.
the only people that are complaining are the people who dont have any creativity at all
Not that anyone will read this, so it's more as a note-to-self.
Minecraft has never been more fun to me, because I've started writing down ideas for projects that will take so long, I don't know if ill EVER finish them. For example:
right now i'm working on a huge magical forest with a beautiful custom lush cave beneath it. and it's turning out great!
i also have YEARS worth of projects ideas to work on, IF i were to play for a couple of hours every day.
you gotta find that will to keep playing, that goal in mind to work towards something, maybe even using it as motivation to go do something useful IRL, like training, so you can feel you deserve a break and get to keep knitting away at something you want to do.
dont quit your worlds. find goals to complete.
Hope your projects go well
I am guilty of starting new worlds but the 2 i have started most recently are going to be alternated evenly
yeah, I've realised how much better it is to just focus on one world. Although, I alternate between a creative world and a survival world, because sometimes I have ideas and don't want to grind for the materials.
Finally someone who said Minecraft is still fun. Thank you bro
tbf people are just growing up, it’s not dead there’s still a lot of active players that genuinely enjoy the game
Tbh mojang does add enough. If the game was fun a year ago that version is still available. The only problem is our expectations which lead to useless features being added.
1. Minecraft got too complicated
2. Its a very lonely sandbox game
3. We grow up and the world around us changes
Or. 4. We grow and We change. Not always the world or the minecraft, We grow.
Minecraft will never die because it's the only game where you do what you want.
This exact same thing happened to Fortnite everyone was saying Fortnite is dead and then it actually died also Minecraft died years ago during Fortnite’s prime
Even after 13 years, Minecraft is still the one game that I wind up going back to when I'm feeling mildly adventurous.
The only reason I don't play as often as I used to is because my friend stopped playing it entirely.
he was my only friend who plays Minecraft
When I started getting bored of Minecraft, I realized it was because I wasn't having fun playing in creative anymore. I used to not play survival because I was scared of mobs, and still kind of am at times. I also learned that Minecraft is better with friends or even just other players in general. I ended up finding a minecraft server that I now play very often because its like vanilla Minecraft but it feels modded and you have your own place to build, and they always have something going on on the server, like seasonal events. I also just play a lot of modded minecraft now and just play minecraft how I want to, even if I'm using gamerules, but if I don't I don't have fun because I worry about losing my stuff. So the other thing I realized with minecraft, is I get bored if I'm scared of losing my stuff because I went in a cave or a creeper blew up, I like to play the game to relax afterall. I've also honestly liked the latest updates to the game even if they aren't often, I mean I think the trial chambers have to be one of the coolest structures to be added to the game, because they feel like an actual dungeon and they give you a reason to go back to it every so often.
I like making essays of comments, apologies.
I still have a few things to add. Mob votes, I both like and dislike, I only dislike them because of the whole thing of, the other mobs will NEVER be added to the game. I like the idea of getting to vote on a feature for a game though, and I was happy when the armidillo won the mob vote because they're adorable and we finally have wolf armor, a feature that basically everyone has wanted, and that tons of mods have added previously. Although I do also like the biome votes more since they will add all of them in eventually and its just a matter of us voting on which gets added first, because even if your choice doesn't win you get to know that one day it will get added to the game, even if it will be a bit. The good thing however, is that a bunch of mod developers have also gone and added mob vote mobs to the game, so we can still get the mobs in game even if it is through a mod. Also the server I play on adds all of the mob vote mobs, which is a thing I love about that server, because I can play regular minecraft and still have a copper golem and a glare.
There is no perfect way to end this comment lol. I could go on, but these things are definitely the major points I have about how minecraft is still fun, and ways that it can keep being fun once you get bored.
Thank you very much for saying this, I do hope this video and others like it get more traction in the Minecraft community
Shout out to the beta mc community for making really nostalgic content
Everyone takes a 5 month break then one day you’ll play it again like everyone else every year
I think people must just stop blowing things out of the window when it comes to Mob Votes or New Updates and just play with what they get! Yes, Minecraft isn't as simple as it used to be but the same people that want that simplicity are the same people that want more content for the game! We ALL LOVE MINECRAFT and Don't want it to DIE because of us players being so harsh on the developers and where they are taking the game! Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that we must slow down and enjoy what we have because eventually, one day it will ALL GO AWAY!
Finally! Some positive content about minecraft. I've seen sooo much videos about how minecraft is dying. And at times it has discouraged me as a minecraft content creator. Thanks
i fully agree with you, calling a game "dead" can put a stigma on it and make some people play it less
I really enjoy making and playing all sorts of minecraft maps. I think the problem is that people think that Minecraft is only survival when, in reality, you can make maps, play servers, play other people's maps, play with mods, the list goes on...
all the videos that says "Minecraft is Dying" makes me burst in tears, i dont want this little cube game to die im too attached to it. I love it, its like the best game ever
5:10 low end devices are the biggest problem that people don’t want to play minecraft, if they play….. they ragequit due to lag issues
I was going through a rough patch last summer and my mate said he was starting a realms world and asked if I fancied joining. Never played it before so I gave it a go. In my mid 30s and a decade late to this 🤣 but I love it. To me, it's my go to cozy game where I just vibe while building and farming and flattening land 😅 it's all about your play style. One person in our realms just effs off and does his own thing, fights the ender dragon and wither and I'm fine with that. I have a village to protect!
I've played minecraft for years and i've always wanted to comeback to it as well as introduce my friends to it (its not dieing)
"Video games aren't fun anymore, Minecraft is dying, Mojang is lazy, lets boycott Mojang"
Even if you are bored of Minecraft survival, try creative, try downloading aventure maps, try playing mini games with friends, this game has a lot of content, Im not bored of the game yet there are so many things I havent tried.
Minecraft is my childhood I will never forget it
finally, someone that I can agree with. great video, you earned a sub!
This was an awesome video! I’ve been hesitant on making my own videos for years and hearing that the old school ways are what people want heck yeah! I can do that!
Finally we got a video!
Most people only take the statistics of how often Minecraft is googled, as people are searching for it less and less. But if you look at the number of players, you can see that Minecraft is more popular than ever before! I recently saw a video about this, unfortunately I can't find it right now, and it's amazing. Minecraft now has more than 4 times as many players as it did in 2016, that's crazy!
We need more minecraft cretaer like him
Thanks for creating this amazing video
I thought minecraft is actually dying but not 😊
Im playing from beta 1.2. so it's around 14 years now. currently playing on private server, vanila for seveal years. And here is a tip, how to not loose intreset. I'm not "that creative person, which creates amazing buildings", im the boring one. But i have lot of long-term projects. Like building gigantic map arts. or digging out the whole end island. or build a high-performance auto-furance, even with indication. Or shulker farm, with more then 1.5k shells/hour. Or the Iron golem farm, with 40k inron/hour output (can't wait for autocrafter) or..... Basically, im dooing boring things, but maximazeing them. more then 15kk blocks were mined, and i'm not planning to stop. If you don't wanna lose interest: Do a long-term projects. Don't be afraid of their huginess and difficulty. That's why it is long-term. That's the point
Minecraft always has its peaks and falls. Its like clock work now. Though I feel like the way to restart a new peak would be some major content update. My only problem with the game now is the content in the update. Honestly, i was left disappointed by 1.20, so for now im taking a break from the game until something major happens. Maybe there are others that feel the same as me? Just curious.
If you don’t like breaking and placing blocks, and the sense of accomplishment from stepping back to look at a cool build you’ve created, you’ll get bored of Minecraft.
I’ve been playing for 4 years now, and the only thing keeping me from my longterm survival world at the moment is waiting for my computer to come back from repairs.
Iv'e playing this game for 8years of my life and still playing.(I never felt so old)
All well said.
If your enjoyment of Minecraft ends when you run out of new features, then I don't think Vanilla Minecraft is for you.
I just started making videos on minecraft for a month now and I can confirm it helps me enjoy the game way more!
what the heck this is so well done and underrated!!!!
Me on my 4 year old 100% achievement world building an Asian steampunk city in the jungle because I can: "Someone ain't finding a way to keep stimulated."
I lost a lot of motivaation to minecraft because of a "friend" destroying my server but i still play the game as i had other projects and stuff
ive only taken a couple months off minecraft since 2010
