You can tell the focus is soft on the near side so i think ive now figured out how to get the right focal range. Live and learn. Next ones will be better!

I recently drove downtown near the CNTower to the Eaton Centre, after many years avoiding downtown. I don't miss the constant bumper to bumper traffic, construction restrictions, on a constant lookout for jaywalkers, the restricted times for turning and parking, and the outrageous parjing prices.
But i do miss the views, the scenery, some of the architecture, the buzz and action, amd access to so much without having to travel very far.
PS jaywalking is an exclusively US thing as there are no laws in Ontario or anywhere outside the US against it. it's legal to cross any street in ontario at anytime as long as it's not within 30 of the lights.

So because it's legal, means i don't need to keep an eye out for them? I'm still driving 40-50kmph in a 4000lb car. That's dangerous for someone being hit by if they cross from behind the cover of a parked vehicle at night...and that's constant downtown. At least in Scarborough I have the time and space to spot and stop despite also driving faster.
