NY seems like a city that desperately wants to be more like an ancient city where people just walk anywhere, and thats why they closed one part of broadway and made it people only (Ironically the part that's in "broadway")

Crossing the boundaries into Manhattan is like entering another world with a different set of rules. One time they closed the whole midtown to downtown parts of certain roads so you could walk all the way, and I remember walking around Grand Central Station on that very road and it was surreal. Every time I'm there I like to do wacky things like play weird songs in times square to confuse people or just wear whatever I want because people assume there is an explanation for ANYTHING you wear. Even if it was a grown man in bunny pjs they would be like oh a pj party? Sorry I rambled

The video is not continuous and skips from one area to another, unlike many of the others I have viewed (I follow them on Google Street View). I am visiting NYC later in the year, and I want to understand how to walk/drive it. Put the street name and nearest crossing street on the video when you change video streams.
Manhattan is wierd... Although there are a plenty of tourists there, I don't see NEW YORKERS' diversity... Actually you can't see new yorkers anywhere... It is a very sectarian place and honestly I could hardly see LGBT and young people on the streets while I was visiting Manhattan. There is no spontaneity on this society. People are kinda nervous and sad walking on the streets. I missed the smiles... NYC there is more to anchieve than just taller buildings and wilder LED billboards...
