As always, great content... I do have a question Justin, i just got an 04 Convertible w/ 39k miles, i noticed that when I use the cruise control, no light indicator on the dash, is that normal? Also, are the steering wheels buttons supposed to illuminate when light switch is on? Thank You, as always...
I saw your video with your wheel collection. I recently purchased an Oxford White 03 Mach 1 that came with aftermarket wheels. I’m trying to learn about these wheels, without much success. You have/had a set. The center caps have the letters SR between 3 vertical lines. Help please, and thank you. Anyone?
Yes, those are 1999 or 2001 cobra wheels. They came originally with SVT center caps. They were also offered in 2003-2004 as an option on premium GT’s with pony tri-bar center caps that were actually different caps than the ones in the Stock Mach 1 or Bullitt Wheels.
@@justin.c_svt Thank you for responding. I’ve been watching y’all’s videos for about 1 1/2 months. I enjoy them and learn. Do you know what the SR letters stand for?
@tomh.5260 they were from an old set of wheels. Same size caps. I think they were american muscle’s brand wheels SR performance. I searched but couldn’t find old pictures before American muscle made their own caps that say American muscle on them.
If I press the lower inner part of my cruise control's on button, the horn will beep. Fun times. Best I can tell it came out of the factory that way. And its gonna be that way for a long time lol.
@@99Slowbruhh well I changed my clockspring but was same as my other one. So it wasn't that. I've already changed the servo and brake switch and switches or buttons on the wheel, not much left. Thought maybe the speed sensor but speedometer works fine so probably not that, I'm out.if ideas.
Is there a cruise control specific fuse? My horn works but not the cruise control.
I believe that’s number 17 under the dash (speed control servo)

There are no cruise indicator lights while the cruise control is active and no, the buttons do not illuminate.

My Pontiac Firebird has the same thing. The horn does not work. It only works when I use the key fob.
How did you get top off that’s covering the relays
Just pried up the tabs on the sides. It didn’t want to come off very easily.
Does anyone know if the horn works but the cruise doesn't, can that still be the clockspring?
Thanks for any responses!
I'm in the same boat. Trying to fix my cruise

@@altennent156 Do you run LEDs?
@@99Slowbruhh no I don't
@@altennent156 Hmmmmm well that’s interesting. Idk
I guess my Firebird probably has the same problem as that Mustang. It's probably something inside the steering wheel.
