I honestly hope the newest Who stays away from romance, even though it's exactly what it looks like. Millie Gibson is skinner Rose, I can feel it and its gonna be googly eyes all over his series (This was written on 12/24/23, Let's hope the Christmas Special proves me wrong).

The interesting thing is, Moffat didn't write the "The Shakespeare Code" or "The End of Time". Gareth Roberts came up with the idea of Liz 1 having history with the Doctor, then Davies dropped a reference to it at the last moment, and then Moffat elaborated on it.
In the doctor who live experience you have the possibility to see elizabeth the 1st post 50th where shes hunting the 10th to try and find him after he abandoned her
I love how Stephen Fry is a real person in the Whoniverse but there's also the head of MI6 who looks and talks EXACTLY like him. Unless, of course, the head of MI6 _is_ Stephen Fry. But the Doctor would've known. Now that's weird. Maybe the Whoniverse's Stephen Fry does not look like Stephen Fry.
I wouldn't say he saw anything in her in this plot. It's pretty clear that the doctor proposed marriage to the queen in an attempt to check if it's a zygon, assuming that the real queen wouldn't marry a random guy. Then turned out it was in fact the real queen and he is left to deal with consequences of his actions
Asexual? 10? The Doctor in general, sure, but 10? Dude was a horn dog right from the beginning. Obviously you had his stuff with Rose which was overtly sexual, but at the same time as that he was off snogging Pompodour (yes she kissed him, but he kissed back and even pulled her in by the waist, compare it to 11's kiss with Clara). He retained feelings for Joe Redfrern in family of blood and tried to manipulate her into coming with him with the allusion to a sexual relationship. He was also leading Martha on semi-consciously during that season. Plus I recall him having a fairly flirty attitude with many of the random women he came across. Dude criticised Jack for being too flirty, but that was really pot calling the kettle black. The only thing I can think of that would point towards him being "asexual" would be his third season with Donna when he said he just wanted a mate. 1. The fact that he expected Donna to be infatuated with him means he was still thinking along sexual lines. 2. By this point he had 3 heart breaks and 1 damaged friendship under his belt, the fact that he wanted to stay single and avoid any more relationships for a while does not make him asexual. Anyway all of this is to say that 10 was very much a sexual doctor and his escapade with Elizabeth was also very much on brand for him. I'm not sure I agree with the comments saying she isn't his type, this is the second time 10 was comfortable starting a fling with nobility when it was relevant to an investigation.
There's an outburst from Eleventh in the Day of the Doctor novel about numbering. Something like "Elizabeth the One! She didn't like numbering and I could understand her." Sorry, I read it in translation, so the quote might not be so correct.
I dunno man, if they actually go with David Tennant actually being the 14th Doctor, I might just stop making these videos, because that's the most creatively bankrupt idea ever. Fingers crossed it's a bluff.

Technically when in person it would be just queen Elizabeth.
