We had water come into the cellar. So as we are cleaning and drying out, I found my grandma's quilt wet on one corner and once dry found she had hand quilted it! I need to replace a few worn pieces, but what a treasure. Take care Kate.🇨🇦

Your optical quilt is stunning, and your plan to sell it and donate the proceeds to a charitable organization is thoughtful. Love your cardigan that you featured in a recent UA-cam video. I noticed the small clips you were using when finishing the mitered corners of the quilt. I believe they are the same ones from Japan that I have. I don't quilt, but those clips are useful for lots of things. I even pull back my hair with several of them when I'm in the mood for a bit of novelty.

I do one stitch up the angle on my corners in binding. But I also like to have them going in opposite directions. Hehe
