I so agree with your analysis of this song… The vibe of this song is so unique it’s almost hard to put in words-but you did a great job describing the jazzy, cerebral feel it has ;)
The late great Marty Balin's songs are fantastic. RIP. My favorites are what I call " Marty's big 3" Miracles, Count on me, and With your love, I have seen reactions to Miracles and although I love it I wanted to have you react to one that is not done very often . Thanks Harri. Happy Valentine's Day. 💞 You are the greatest Harri.
This is absolutely gorgeous. That exquisite guitar solo, heavenly keyboards, perfect background vocals, those autumnal nighttime strings... it's one of their best. Cripples me every time I hear it. This song is just magnificent.
Mon dieu, it truly warms my heart watching someone listen to a magical song for the first time!!! Idk why it makes me as emotional as it does, but it absolutely wrecks me. I guess it’s affirming of one’s musical taste, but more importantly, it’s the catharsis of connecting to a stranger over a shared appreciation of art. Maybe this too sappy and over the top, but my tears and heart don’t lie. Thank you.
I can never get enough of this song. It's just so beautiful. I put it on replay and play it over and over again. You're right, it's like heaven on Earth.
I agree with you 100% but I could only request one song, and there are lots of reactions to Miracles on UA-cam. I also want to request "Count on Me. No arguments from me on Miracles. It is heavenly. 🔥🕊️👍🙃💞
So pleasantly surprised that you reacted to this song, I simply wanted to hear this and when I typed it in the search engine, your reaction popped up! How lovely. This is truly diamonds 💎 in the ears.
After Jefferson Airplane's harder rock days of the late 1960s and before Starship's more fluffy pop days of the 1980s, Jefferson Starship had some lovely mid-tempo and soft rock songs in the mid- to late 1970s, such as this one ("With Your Love") and "Miracles" and "Count on Me" and "Runaway."
A stellar Starship track. Always enjoy hearing Marty belt out a love song, or any song out at that. This is one of his best, and a favorite of mine. Digging the vibe Daniel, keep bringing them great requests to our man Harri. Nice one Harri, glad you appreciated this great Starship tune!
Thanks GMM. I think I am on overload. 😉 Harri found this request I thought was lost in the ether. Hallelujah!! Got Hold me tight also, bonus. My lucky day. Throw in Todd Rundgren. Trifecta. 👍😉🙃 I feel like that ELP song. Woo what a lucky man he was. 😇🕊️💞
Oh man... this is SUCH A GREAT GREAT TRACK... I love this.. it reminds me of a time I was driving from Texas to Florida and I was playing classic tracks.. and I remember I was so happy as I was driving through Louisiana and this was on... just a crazy good memory.. I really love your appreciation for GOOD music.. 😊
In every Jefferson song I am always listening for Grace's voice 1st. She and Janice were the groundbreakers of female voices. Back in the day Grace was such a fox as well. Plus her sarcastic humour and her "eyes" are so mysterious and alluring. The whole band gave us so much great music.
This is the sound of San Francisco, California in the 70s! "Ride the Tiger" "Miracles" "Runaway" "Count on Me"...yeah, that Fender Rhodes electric piano is sublime, eh?!
Jane is not early. Marty Balin gone. My fav. Singer took over and sang Jane. Mickey Thomas. Also sang Fooled around and fell in love, when he was with Elvin Bishop. Check it out when they were live on the Midnight Special. Or better yet Jayvee reactions covered it.
@@scottlaughlin9897 yeah……aware that it wasn’t Balin, but I liked the song and threw it in there. It was in the seventies so early enough as far as I’m concerned.
I have been waiting FOREVER for someone to react to this song. One of my favorites! Thank you! Love your channel. Just subbed! Miracles is their bigger hit. Love that too.
If you lived in the days of this music ,of this song you were as fortunate as I was . This song transports me back to a better time .Goodness gracious I love this song .......
Love this! Marty Balin was my favorite member of this ever changing group. For more mellow love sounds try Coming Back to Me and Today. And of course Miracles. All lyrically and musically wonderful!!!
this is when the Airplane transformed into the Starship and re-invented their sound to fit the times. Another cool song is Runaway-it melts in your ears as it's so smooth.
Marty Balin's voice absolutely make this work. It was fortunate for the music that Marty "returned" to rejoin the fold, renamed Jefferson starship by now.
Don't know why, but every time I go shopping at Home Depot, they always play a Marty Balin song, this one, Runaway, or Miracles(PG version). A good one with Mickey Thomas is Be My Lady.
RED OCTOPUS, DRAGONFLY, SPITFIRE, ALLLLLLLLL 3 GREAT STARSHIP ALBUMS HARRI :) INCREDIBLE SOUNDS I KNEWWWWWW YOU WOULD ENJOY THIS BAND, IT'S JUST A NAME CHANGE FROM AIRPLANE, IT'S STILL GRACE SLICK AND PAUL KANTNER LEADING. :) FROM PSYCHEDELIC TO CLASSICCCCC.
This one really takes me back to high school, Harri. Earlier Jefferson is so much better than their 80s stuff! As others have mentioned, check out “Miracles” - Marty Balin has such a great voice. Red Octopus album is a must-have.
I still can't figure out why no one has reacted to "Caroline" yet, this was the hit off the first studio album, "Dragon Fly" in 1974 after the name change by the band to Jefferson Starship. Their album "Red Octopus" is an album worth a listen, "Miracles" is probably their biggest hit of all time and a very racy for even FM in the day, of course there was a "cleaned up" version released for AM.
Hey Betsey, UA-cam has a new restriction ,which I think is stupid, your song has to have 200,000 views in order to get reacted too. I know a lot of my favorites have like 50,000. Good luck. 👍🙃
I agree with other subscribers if you love this gorgeous love song 🎵 ❤ from Marty Balin, you will fall deeper in love with "miracles". It is my absolute favorite ❤ love song in the world. You need to analyze MIRACLES NEXT. 😘 These songs are from gorgeous 70s....❤❤❤🧡🧡💛💛💛
2 yrs late I am but this was a great follow up song to Miracles on Red Octopus the year or so before. Miracles was a great song, had Red Octopus and this album on 8 track. Red Octopus long gone but still have this 8 track.
Marty Balin founding member of Jefferson Airplane in 1966. Listen to songs written and performed by Marty titled "Comin. Back to Me". And a song titled" Today" From his time in Jefferson Airplane.

"Miracles", is one that I truly adore listening to by Jefferson Starship, Starship, or Jefferson Airplane.
Oh yes. Miracles is beautiful.
"Miracles" is a long song
Yep, "Miracles" is probably their best one

.....there's a DISTINCT early-60's feel to that close; NOT far removed from "Our Day Will Come".....
@@ogam5 Oh, 'Our Day Will Come' gets me too. Even though before my time, it's still hauntingly, beautifully melancholic and yet hopeful.

Loved this time of Jefferson Starship! Have this cassette still, lol
Yeah those songs really capture that time period. I was 16 when this came out. What a magical time.
"Hearts" is one of his solo ballads that was a hit song.
Just an awesome reaction to a beautiful song... thanks much!
You can listen to this and /or Miracles and your mind will get a free massage. Simply beautiful!
I listened to this song all through my 20s but haven't heard it lately. It's gorgeous.

This sounds other worldly. How appropriate for a group named Starship
Miracles, next and Hearts when he went solo

Yes! I love this one and Runaway ❤
The great Marty Balin on vocals
This version of Jefferson starship had 3 or 4 excellent albums in the

Three of the most beautiful love songs ever. Good call Tina!!
I've been a marty balin fan, since I heard him sing an early Jefferson airplane song titled it's no secret.
One of my favorite songs ever 😌
A very jazzy song for a rock band.
Freaking Cosmic. Balin is easily one of most best voices in rock history. Who writes stuff like this anymore. The 70's had that deep soul music.
Glad you discovered JS with Marty Balin as lead vocalist, hope you check out more.
Great one! I re-discovered this song last year ♥️. And yes, you are spot on, his voice just floats. 🎶
Two little played Jefferson Airplane balads that I love are Comin' Back To Me, and Today. You will love I'm sure.
Oh yeah, two of the most beautiful love songs ever!! Good call Jeff.
"Hearts" by Marty Balin should be next on your list!

Also "No Way Out" has some really unique chord changes, and strong vocals from Mickey Thomas and Grace Slick.
