It still amazes me how many of these classic cars are not only on the road but still waiting to be saved. As a classic car lover im thrilled that we still have so many peices of American history around.
Never saw a mopar that wasn’t super desirable to me. Including a 67 dart. Yes, even “those Chargers”. Wish I was in the market. Covid got me like save not spend. Btw thanks for sharing. Obviously these are the kinda scraps that big dollar collectors didn’t want, but that’s ok. Sharing is caring.
Chris: " so which cars are you interested in?" Me: "Yes!" So jealous of those who live near the desert junkyards. Out here on the Canadian prairies anything left outdoors in the environment like that would have become one with Mother Earth years ago. Some of those Dusters and Darts were in decent shape.
The slant six was one of the best motors developed. The one with a three speed would be a fun get around town car. Super reliable engine. Two pumps and mine would fire rite up at -20. Really don't get see how one could hate them.
Man I love old junk yards ( Impound lots) . They are pretty much a thing of the past here in NC , Wish I were closer to you I would love to just walk the yard to see what was there. Merry Christmas .
Hey Chris thank you for the video I enjoyed it and I would love to have all of those cars there but that's never going to happen so I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you and your whole family and hopefully many more to come
Back in the early 80's body shop guys became experts on these mopars. The rear spring shackle would end up in the trunk from rotting through. They were welding them back together if there was anything to weld to. By the mid 80's these cars were gone. Hundreds of cars entered the junk yards with great running engines but were all rotted away. My fathers 69 LTD went to the junk yard in 74 with 43K miles on the 302.
Dang I like those dusters I just bought one for my brother for his birthday. That slant 6 can be worked over pretty good. Also I would like info on the new General Lee...
I hear ya.... i had my eye on that 64 Impala ..... be interesting to see all the other cars in there.... I’m surprised he even showed that Pontiac.... he’s a Mopar or no car nut..... me i’m Bowtie to the bone.... meh to each their own!!!
I owned BOTH a 1977 and a 1974 Olds Omega...the 77 I had was bone stock...BUT the 74 I owned was "tweaked" and was making around 400 horsepower when I was finished with it!! Not a lot for sure.... BUT it was fast as snot and so "under estimated" by most of the folks in town who pulled up next to me at a stop light!!! LOL!!! I never got a ticket in that 1974 Omega either....which is strange, because I used to drive it like I had stole it!!! LMAO!!!
Hey u do.any trading? I am from Wadena MN not too far.away. lol. I have a few.real nice ones. . half dozen or.so. these.are All ones. That.are.worth something and.sought after
I had a 76 Chrysler Cordoba with a 400 it was a little rusty but still drove nice and had power everything including ac which also still worked and it came with slotted mags to give it a kind of muscle look.
Breaks my heart that they are there and not close to me, Oh and sold by looks of things. Would have loved the console air duster and the 3 speed as well. Very lucky people indeed who end up with these. Mopar for life!
my favorite mopar is 71 Satallite Sebring my dad had one until i turned 16 and he sold it behind my back ive always wanted one ever since but they a hard to find
On my son's UA-cam but I'd love to have a 71 charger my first experience in American muscle was around 1982 my father bought a 71 dodge charger 383 4 speed car white on white slot mags air shocks.im 44 and I can still hear that car rip through the gears.seeing dad bang that shifter wile racing my uncle in his 71 Pontiac GTO .one of the best memories of my father.
Sure makes you wonder why some of them went to the bone yard years ago 🤔🤔🤔 Been many decades since you would see that era of Mopar at the yards in Michigan.
Everyone wants an arm and a leg for Darts and Dusters on the east coast. I'm talking about frame rails, floors and trunk floors gone. no motors and they are wanting $4000 or better. Keep Em' Alive Chris !!!
Don't be shy with those 4 doors! Also those 50s cars, when you where looking at that red dart, all I saw was that 1950ish dodge backed in by the driver quarter.
Just got a 69 Dart project... Love to have any of them, especially the Chargers. Sure wish I hadnt just done Christmas!!! Maybe the kids will like havin a project car instead???😂
Hey man million dollar mopar or not thanks for saving them. Twenty years from now they might start going up in price. But the ones that go to the kill shelter will never get them back.
There is a 1973 Pontiac Grand Am behind the Gold Duster. You can see it at 12:16. If it's in decent enough shape, that will bring in some really good money. They're pretty desirable and definately hard to find. That car should be saved. Please consider selling the Grand Am.
We had three 73-74 Charger SE's when I was a teenager. Mom loved her triple black 73. She still misses that car. Wish I could afford to buy her another one, her new car would sit. Lol.
Awesome thanks for saving the car's, but also all the old truck's and other car's in there and be good to get them a new life 😀🤙🏼 be awesome to see the work on the general Lee real car from the TV show to when you can 😀🤙🏼 cheers
When did NV. Change the law that you can be issued a title to a vehicle that does not have a title in hand? Tried that with a car l have. Had the vin inspected @ DMV, no title in hand no new title can be issued.
Hey I was wondering is there any mid 70s full size gm cars or mopars? I’d like to buy as many impalas, Buick Electra’s, olds 98, caddy’s, and New Yorkers, Newport’s, and imperials as you can find.
Dude, I'm from Kentucky. Any pre 70 anything that is solid is desirable. Lol. A little rust here is almost unsavable there. Kinda like the 70 rt/se you pulled out of Texas.
I have always loved the 71-74 chargers don't get me wrong the kings of chargers are always gonna be gen 2's but something cool bout them fusion cars man
i see major body work interior work electrics and full recondition for the engines trans and running and diff and brakes and then maybe they would make a nice sunday driver
Almost every one of those would be ideal for a young guy looking for his first project car.Low entry cost, plenty of parts availability for the Darts and Dusters, and even the larger Chargers from 73-74 aren't big dollar cars so parts aren't outrageous like the E-body stuff. Personally,I like the 72 Dart and the Gold Duster but I have plenty of project Mopars already.
I love some of those 70’s chargers but I don’t have any cash. I like old mopars because they were so cool. To bad I don’t have a job because I just started highschool and with COVID can’t get a job
Title thing in US is a little confusing. It has same purpose than our registration but our title (Finland) is inspection/ownership on same paper. And transferring an ownership can be done online nowadays. I have bought four cars from USA and imported them here (Finland). When I was searching good projects from different states I came across that ex. Georgia does not give title for an older car. A lot of cars is sold with Bill of Sale without Title...
Kool Kars Bud, if you ever come across a 70's 'stang, would you....could you show case it as well? Owner of two '72 coupe's (running condition) your Bud in Tejas, Marc H.
Chris i made an offer on the Pontiac 68 but you never responded back from your e mail may I ask why if it was low you could have said so! If it was sold you could have said so ! Please let me know you had 2 of them
Chris has the most understanding neighbors on the planet....
Now I understand. You are doing a great job promoting the hobby. Thank you.
It still amazes me how many of these classic cars are not only on the road but still waiting to be saved. As a classic car lover im thrilled that we still have so many peices of American history around.

Good on you Chris! It's a good thing and you're helping people find a good car,
Awesome***🤟man I Love that brown rusted one with the 400*****and the baby blue one too***!!!!!!
You must have the best neighbors in the world!
The slant six was one of the best motors developed. The one with a three speed would be a fun get around town car. Super reliable engine. Two pumps and mine would fire rite up at -20. Really don't get see how one could hate them.
They are ungodly slow.
Loved to know the story on the cut up general there
Man I love old junk yards ( Impound lots) . They are pretty much a thing of the past here in NC , Wish I were closer to you I would love to just walk the yard to see what was there. Merry Christmas .
WOW. So many cool rides for the guy that wants a Mopar that doesn't have a lot of money. Thanks for sharing. 🍁👍👍
Hey Chris thank you for the video I enjoyed it and I would love to have all of those cars there but that's never going to happen so I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year to you and your whole family and hopefully many more to come
Your neighbors must love you 😍
The white one is my favorite year with the open side window versus the louvers on the other one
Cranberry Dart sport 11:05 I think is called a "Hang 10" surf board can go in fold down trunk or through the sunroof. seats should be plaid
Sounds cool
Being from the rust belt I'm amazed at the bodies on these cars! I wish we had patina instead we get absolute weight reducing cancer!
In Brooklyn the quarter panels would be flapping in the wind, and the floors would be a barney rubble special.

@@Deucealive75 what a shame! Cash for clunkers finished off a bunch of good cars too!
@@440phoenix Same for Queens. My uncle used aluminum siding to remake the lower quarter extensions on his 73 Gold Duster.
@@LongIslandMopars Yup, I've been there. Decent cars are hard to find in our area.
Dang I like those dusters I just bought one for my brother for his birthday. That slant 6 can be worked over pretty good. Also I would like info on the new General Lee...
Dude much respect for what your doing def interested in the pontiac
Live in indiana still interested in rhe pontiac
Save as many as you can!!! My dad had 318 dart when I was young. Love the old cars!
I see a bunch I want, novas, olds Omega, mid 60s fullsize GM vehicles etc...
I hear ya.... i had my eye on that 64 Impala ..... be interesting to see all the other cars in there.... I’m surprised he even showed that Pontiac.... he’s a Mopar or no car nut..... me i’m Bowtie to the bone.... meh to each their own!!!

You have some nice projects, wish I had the room for more!
That Pontiac T37 is cool!
I had a 76 Chrysler Cordoba with a 400 it was a little rusty but still drove nice and had power everything including ac which also still worked and it came with slotted mags to give it a kind of muscle look.
Man you have all the good stuff in "Vegas"
Very cool, love a good junk yard!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
I used to have a 1972 Pontiac T-37 it was a sweet car. Custom paint metallic gold, brown, and purple.
Breaks my heart that they are there and not close to me, Oh and sold by looks of things. Would have loved the console air duster and the 3 speed as well. Very lucky people indeed who end up with these. Mopar for life!
Some of that is good stuff. I thought about a Duster with a near stock 440 to bracket race.
Man I wish I was closer to you I would love the 73 charger
The T37 is cool! When I look them up it says a stripped tempest with a bench seat so to see a console and buckets is cool!
The buckets in the T37 weren't original to the car.
my favorite mopar is 71 Satallite Sebring my dad had one until i turned 16 and he sold it behind my back ive always wanted one ever since but they a hard to find
Hoping you save as many as possible, Chris

11:20 - 1964 Chrysler ... plus other C bodies... Where are these cars? Is it a closed yard? How would buy some of those bigger Mopars?
Really liking a lot of these!

You are doing a good thing Chris, no more projects for me. Have a great Christmas.

Don't be shy with those 4 doors!
Also those 50s cars, when you where looking at that red dart, all I saw was that 1950ish dodge backed in by the driver quarter.
I haven't seen the first interior on any of these cars which is salvageable. Can you still buy full interiors for these cars,?🙄🙄

When did NV. Change the law that you can be issued a title to a vehicle that does not have a title in hand? Tried that with a car l have. Had the vin inspected @ DMV, no title in hand no new title can be issued.
There is a process to obtain title in Nevada for a car that didn’t have one. Abandoned vehicle, personal lien, and so on. Not a big deal
In Australia that Dart (called a Valiant hardtop here) would pull $10-$15k no problem.
Too bad they're so far away, I'm a teen in search of an affordable carbureted daily project car. I'll keep searching tho :)
How much for the T-37???
I saw a 63 or 64 impala, I want that one!
Hey I was wondering is there any mid 70s full size gm cars or mopars? I’d like to buy as many impalas, Buick Electra’s, olds 98, caddy’s, and New Yorkers, Newport’s, and imperials as you can find.

Dude, how did you hit the vegas jackpot? Know someone?
I'd love to have another third gen. Charger but it sucks you live in Vegas
Man i wish i could come out there from nc n buy one of the 3rd gen chargers off of ya
I love some of those 70’s chargers but I don’t have any cash. I like old mopars because they were so cool. To bad I don’t have a job because I just started highschool and with COVID can’t get a job
Weres this place at location?
So can I go through and look through this junkyard? I’m super close to vegas
Private yard that is not open
Why are all the windows down or broken

How much money on the dusters agv price
Dude, I love those 68 to 70 Chargers, and I'm a Chevy guy.
Let's start a movement, no more general lees.
Let's make some of them back into Chargers.
Any fullsize
71-76 gm station wagons with leaf springs in that yard for sale ? thanks
Kool Kars Bud, if you ever come across a 70's 'stang, would you....could you show case it as well?
Owner of two '72 coupe's (running condition) your Bud in Tejas, Marc H.
Did you tear your general Lee apart??
It's not the same general
Any 70-72 chevelle? Or square body chevy
The silver duster with the maroon top and Maroon stripe looks to be the silver duster package
You got to be the luckiest guy in the mopar world.
How much for the white duster
My 1st car was a 74 duster 318 back n 96 would give my pinky toe for another one!!
I like this 67 Dart!
I like that chevy pick up also
Do any of these have a matching title to go with them?
Nope, explained in video
Chris i made an offer on the Pontiac 68 but you never responded back from your e mail may I ask why if it was low you could have said so! If it was sold you could have said so ! Please let me know you had 2 of them
