Thanks..Appreciate you putting this up. Great instruction. still plug away at it on me old Gibson. Yes some of us never really get it but never give up. That helps. That was great. I saw the Doors live at Winterland in San Francisco long ago. Procal Haum and a band called Mt. Rushmore. Anybody know who they were?
This person is playing note-for-note with the Doors recording and Krieger's guitar track is audible in the background. Who's to say who is slightly out of tune? If Krieger's track were eliminated, this persons playing skill and guitar tuning would be damn good if not indistinguishable from Kriegers - in my opinion. Good work.
my unknown friend thanks so much for posting these doors tutorials. nailed la woman and im on my way with light my fires solo. honestly i never thought id be able to do it. its sounding good but far away from the level youre playing... yet! hehe. awesome shirt by the way. cheers bud, thanks again
well i liked it... in tune or not . was hoping for a lesson lol just means keep watching a section then pausing ... not a big deal. well done matey it had me smiling all over.
Mamma mia! Da capezzoli duri!!! Rooby Krieger un chitarissta di flamengo. Suonava senza pletro!
The amazing sounds are the chords after the lead guitar part is finished. ( Right before Morrison starts singing again.) You can hear them best if you have an equalizer to screen them out. You can't really hear them on the album. Blew me away.
Other than being a little out of tune, you can hardly complain here. His hands can be seen easily and any guitarist capable of playing this should be able to work it out by pausing once in a while. Not really a tutorial as such, but good enough. Or you can do it like everyone used to, put on the record or cd and do it yourself.
Zsolt Derecskei Gibsons go out of tune reaaally quick because the headstock is tilted to the back. Saying things like this doesnt really make you look any smarter
@@rainbowbridge4766 to say that a company who is building and selling professionell instruments, builds guitars that, will go out of tune very quick, dosen´t make you look any smarter! and even so. rule nr one. Tune your guitar right bevor recording it! its out of tune right from the first chord
Nicely done!!! Could have taken some short cuts on some of the cords in trying to keep in in the box (Eb Bb), instead of going up and down all over the fret board. But other than that it was stupendous!!
You're obviously a Robby fan, based on the fingernails on your left hand. I do hate when people play the open G and open A chords, mainly because Robby played barred chords, that what gives that B and E a much higher register. It's no longer a B and E it's a D and G and an F and high mid high C. Robby's guitar is great... I love the Doors. It's my favorite band of all time.
I do learn by ear. And my version is much closer to Kreiger's original than this. Just thought I might find some clarification in a couple spots I wasn't happy with. But this didn't help, only hindered. Still, thanks for the "advice." Now don't be so lazy and stop taking everything at face value. You'll become a much better guitarist. Peace.
Fisher Man , you ah penis head. I do the same, I like to see the chords other people are playing, just to see if I can sound better. Keep fishing brah!!
scalemiester , hey bud, did you know you can slow this video down? Just press where you see 3 vertical dots. Choose play back and you’ll see different speeds. Best of luck:)
I'm 55, and I've listening to the Doors since I was 10 years old (one of my brothers saw them 3 times) - Anyway, great job!!
so you 61 now? 😮
I love your tutorials. They really show the genius of Robby Krieger. His style was so unique.
I don't mind that it's not a full walkthrough tutorial, I'm just glad I can see it played up close. You play just like Robby it's amazing
This was Robby’s first song he ever wrote, and it ended up being their first smash hit on their debut, god damn.
Great video, thank you for sharing it . Frank
very accurate ...helped me to learn it,though that first part on lead is realy tricky !great job!
thanks man. i have been looking all over for the finishing chords. its f to g to d. after hundreds of videos somebody got it right
tell us the truth, you are Robby Krieger and you don' want to show yer face
Oggi la vedrai! stay tuned

Well, the first album was recorded in a different tune...
I'm keyboardist and the tuning of the organ is at 425 hertz so, technically he's ok.
@@coloringmemories8974 not the first Album...just this track was mod.

Thanks dude, the most importante thing is that you showed the guitar chuggling and riffs, the chords are easy to identify

I'm noticing now that krieger is doing a kind of clammeraw harp in the verse, genius, I always played it with a normal harp
Good job my friend!!

i was wondering if i am the only one who loves them, thats my favourite part of the song! Do you know exact freq to boost?
Yes! That's the guitar part. The other videos are just the chord progression.
Where did you learn this I could really use the info
working on the fingerstyle lol, thank u i subscribed!
Best I have seen . . .
👏bravo!!!
Now that is challenging.
What fx are you using? Sounds like a harmoniser on there so almost like a mellotron. I don't think that's just from the recording.
You haven't a good technique, but however you played this song like a boss...it is exactly the same. good job!
i JUST WENT TO YOUR CHANNEL TO FIND OUT WHAT GOOD technique IS, BUT I FOUND NOTHING SO YOUR technique IS ALSO FUCKED.
Right guitar. No pick. Very legit.
What is the chord you doing as the keyboard is performing the solo? It looks like is G shape chord..
43 dis' are jealous, your great, spot on, keep doin what your doin'😀👌🙏
*you're*
Very good!
you got to slide a little more but you're really good man
Good.
Dude. Awesome. Where are you from if you don't mind me asking? Would love to get together and jam some Doors covers
Are the doors out of tune(I know old bands used to just tune to each other)? Or do you need to tune up? Something sounds off..

Maaaan... I feel you lol
what chords did he play in this video?
great!
do you like the doors?
I'm seeing Krieger at a young age in you today.
Sir can please tell me guitar lesson for it
Great job, but The tabs ?
Hahahahja 7 years
Very nice Video, should be fairly easy some chords and a repeatable solo. Thank you very much for taking the time
you got it. put a little more reverb on it and you be set to go.

How can you play that whole thing with an out of tune guitar?

Hey I can play light my fire on Robby's original SG because I own it.

Is it a joke there's "ETune" written on truss rod cover??
tutorial?
Learn by ear don't be lazy. It's easy to see where he is putting his fingers and chords
