  • These 11 things will destroy your cat's trust in you | Be careful!
Are you someone who adores their feline friend, valuing every purr, whisker twitch, and moment of affection? Have you ever wondered if your cat's unique personality impacts their needs and well-being? Understanding these nuances is key to nurturing a strong bond with your pet. Cats place immense importance on trust, and any breach in this trust can strain your relationship.
In our latest video, we uncover eleven common mistakes that might unknowingly damage your cat's trust:
    1. Overstimulation from Excessive Touching: Petting your cat for too long or in sensitive areas like the belly can lead to discomfort or even aggression.
    2. Ignoring Their Communication: Disregarding your cat's body language and vocal cues can frustrate them and undermine trust.
    3. Using Punishment: Cats don't respond well to punishment; it can cause fear and worsen behavior issues.
    4. Neglecting Basic Needs: Overlooking grooming, litter box cleanliness, and medical care can make your cat feel insecure.
    5. Abrupt Changes: Cats dislike sudden changes; introducing them gradually to new environments is crucial.
    6. Ignoring Play and Mental Stimulation: Cats need regular play and mental exercise to prevent boredom and behavioral problems.
    7. Inconsistent Behavior: Cats thrive on routine; unpredictable actions can confuse and stress them.
    8. Not Respecting Personal Boundaries: Invading your cat's safe spaces can lead to stress and distrust.
    9. Forcing Affection: Cats prefer initiating contact; forcing cuddles can make them feel trapped.
    10. Interrupting Sleep: Disturbing your cat's sleep can impact their well-being and trust in you.
    11. Leaving Them Alone for Long Periods: Cats need companionship and interaction; prolonged solitude can lead to loneliness and anxiety.
These insights aim to deepen your understanding of your cat's needs and behaviors, fostering a harmonious and trusting relationship. Stay tuned for practical tips on how to avoid these mistakes and nurture a strong bond with your feline companion. 🐱

Our cats know what "NO" means, and they usually stop the offending action when calmly scolded.

My kittie eats when she's hungry.
If she wants wet food, she gets the kind she wants, and I leave dry food out for free feeding by the window.

I have just started leash training again for my fur baby.
She's still a bit skittish about the scary outdoors and the leash after she went on an adventure on her on for 6 nights last August in a park and small forest nearby.
She got lose from her harness.
Now, she has gotten used to the harness.
She's still not a fan of the leash however.
Thing is, we live in a small apt, and as a 1st cat dad and veteran with injuries which makes it hard to walk and stand for longer periods.

So we're together 24/7 unless I have to make errands.
