WHENEVER YOU'RE DOWN JUST WATCH DAVE!
Dig the longer videos when I'm stoned 😎
so true.
Man it's the same month and year I was born. Its a good vintage.
Money sent. I guess I've watched enough of Dave to finally pay him for services rendered. Keep on rockin' Dave.
MAN I'LL TELL YOU THAT IS A GOOD GUITAR ,,, IT WILL LAST ANOTHER 100 YEARS!
Wow, 3 descent guitars in a row. I've gotten used to all the Crapocasters. Good job.
i love watching your fix'z bro
Steve Cropper. Cool!
When a guitar starts needing work like this it is probably time to just get a new guitar! I run a recycling program for this specific issue. I will dispose of any old guitar, just send it to me...I will even pay shipping.
You must be joking! If not, can I send you my old girlfriend?
"You must be joking!" Gee, ya think?
-> Sony: I have a '65 Tele and its frets have sprouted yet again due to extreme temperatures. Do you think I should send it to you (with my old girlfriend) to get recycled, and just buy a new Tele (and girlfriend)? Will you dispose of them both? How exactly do you dispose of stuff sent to you? I am fascinated by your proposal. By the way, I live in Spain, and my girlie has put on some weight, so does your free shipping apply to anywhere in the world?
I may consider taking the girl as long as "she" does not need "fret work"...
ss x
GOOD JOB, my brother!
NICE! work Dave!
Another excellent setup, Dave! Thank you for the upload. You make the best instructional videos--in my view--on UA-cam because you know your stuff and you have a great sense of humor. Although the headstock logo, neck date stamp, and tuning machines appear correct, do you believe that this is an actual 1972 CBS-era Fender Telecaster body?
WITH DAVES FINAL TOUCH THAT IS!
Nice Dave! Great live stream yesterday too. Thanks for your great content, comedy and education. One of the best channels on UA-cam brother. Cheers.
Finally a set of strings that’s aren’t fuckin Ernie Balls. DR is such an underrated company. I love DR strings. Literally all of my guitars have them. Rares on my acoustic and Pure Blues on my electrics.
Wow, you sound just like Merle Jennings with that tele.
Spent part of my day polishing frets, thanks for making the mundane fun. Where did you get that fret file.
hi dave were u hungover sat morning??? i was! keep the vids coming. love it
It would be nice if I could purchase a sticker. But as I reside in the UK, how?
Did we miss part-2 of the '66 Strat? That was pretty interesting...
There probably won't be a part 2 since the video was about refretting which was completed.
I thought 70's CBS Fenders had three bolt necks. 🤔
That sound of that thing rubbing against the frets is worse than finger nails on a chalk board
Is the All Parts pickguard a replica of the early 50s single ply, 5 screw pickguards? Is it actually a crappy pickguard?
Nice
does brasso polish frets any better than what you're using dave?
Dave are you going to be selling t-shirts
have you ever tried filling the saddle a bit to get the intonation better?I mean sometimes it's really bad that one wasn't too far off account to my ear which is closers than most people.
Krusty Buzzard Christ. I hope your ear is better than your English.
cool
whats the brand/ model for the file. Where did you buy it?
sweet
What name brand is the neck level ?
Is that a Stew Bank ....I mean Stew mac file ?
I want one of those files!!!! Did you get it from the S place?
hello. great video as always. what are they calling that new "the shit" file? I'm about to pull the trigger on the fret end dress file and may add that to the cart.
Pretty sure it is the Hosco TL-FE2.
RockYouVideos
A dedicated fret end file that is great. I bought one a few years ago. Works great.
Where did you get the fret file Dave
Dave where are you located? I have a 68 vox bass that needs a good setup.
To bad wish you were closer, you do very good work and I was hoping I could get my bass to you but I don't want to ship it (I'm in Illinois USA). Thanks for the rely and the videos.
first one here lol drinkin beer and havin a smoke. enjoying your vids dave........cheers
Where did you get that uber cool file?
$25.00 us for a Dave's world of fun stuff sticker! that's $34.13 can. no thanks!!!
I think I’d have to get out some lighter fluid and a paper towel and scrub that already smeared autograph off the guitar….
The tele is just a gooch job, right Dave? Who signed the guitar? Must be worth at
least $20k with the signature.
Steve Cropper from The Blues Brothers Band.
@@reverendbubba4473 More importantly of Booker T and the MGs, who recorded just about everything for Stax records as the in-house session band.
+14:22i said a "c" hair to the women and she never heard it ....i think its not worth the fight lol , but like wtf a "c" hair , who doesnt know that (:
rjmcdade in Scotland its known as a 'baw hair'lol
We should be friends David
I'm in South Africa, Dave . Would I get a fuckin sticker here?
YAY
.062 @14:29
OH NO YOU REPAIR THAT "HALL OF FAMED" NAME LIKE STEVE COPPER..
Dave, You seem to be of the more not less neck relief camp. Lots of people on the internets say 4-6 thou but you consistently seem to go 10 or 12. Why is this?
I guess by that you are suggesting these setups are used by known guitar players and published if you know where to look. Thanks and rock on!
James Furz Most company's hav recommended set up specs . Hav googled it several times, ask for ,,name of company, model n setup specs. Always got what i needed. Most r about the same,,,can b lots of fun and i did it all myself.
How do I get a sticker ? just email you my address man or what ? I love to spread the word for you for free my brother
$8 one sticker?
I have an irrational hatred of strings that come in individual packets.
I'm quite the opposite, and I was also used to buying individual Rotosound strings to make my sets (09, 12, 15, 24, 32, 40) or variations thereof.
Love your videos but just wish I could get past the confusing and over complicated imperial measurements.
the decimal system simplifies everything. Multiple fractions are awkward to deal with.
cool
