Enjoy the second half of our two-part series about abandoned chemical plants in Eastern Germany! What kind of abandonment do you prefer? The cleaner ones like the medicine factory in the first episode or more derelict ruins like the structure you can see in this video?
Broken Window Theory I love both types of explore, but I do have a soft spot for curly paint and decay that is right on the edge of taking over. I really enjoy seeing the architecture of these old places, and the sight of a carpet of moss, or a tree growing out of the window ledge is the perfect spice.🖤🇨🇦
Natural decay (little or no vandalism provided, that's just vulgar and worthless) is visually nice to see, but I do like to be surprised at something in really good shape despite years of abandonment. Don't want to lose the clean sites (please), but I'm too much afraid most people won't back my kind of choice. That's sad.
BilisNegra why would you think others won’t agree with your view? I love the pristine untouched places, they have something extra to them. I detest vandals who break things for no reason, and smudge the pure beauty of line and form, composition and lighting, just by being there. I fail to understand the sense of satisfaction spray painting male genitalia,(poorly I might add) might give these people. I do get the street art, and find some of it really well done. They are artists with a different canvas, and they rarely bother me unless they are placed somewhere really inappropriate. I can do without poorly spelled swear words...if you can’t spell it...you can’t do it...kind of like the limit signs on beaches 😏. Natural decay can be exquisite, but human “additions” take away from that beauty. When they find a pristine place intact, but empty such a long time it can feel more real watching it, it’s like you snuck into a big mystery. Seeing small glimpses of how they lived gives a window into a different and luminal space and time. I love to see the real bones of a structure, the architecture which becomes more exposed as the facade decays and fades. I’m not super fond of places with clothing and garbage strewn about with no rhyme or reason, but I like there to be enough belongings to give a sense of what once was. I bet more people agree with you than you think 🖤🇨🇦
derelict buildings can be much more visually appealing. It's an uncommon sight. The clean ones aren't that cool because it just looks like normal, like it's still working and being used
The ones I find most interesting are the ones you have the most information about. It brings it closer to home, like having a vested interest. And...I'm really enjoying these stories because I grew up during the cold war, graduated from high school in 1989, and we knew NOTHING about Germany behind the iron curtain. A few school trips stocked up on American blue jeans and visited Moscow, but nobody that I knew ever went any farther. So it kind of makes the faceless masses that we were afraid of, more human. Lives were lived, people loved, laughed and lived, similarly to us. I'm imagining a bit much maybe. We were always told the citizens lived in fear all the time. But this is maybe a discussion for a different forum. 😉 Love the videos!
That would be a great movie set for another Alien(s) movie. Those large glass containers reminded me of specimen jars. The paintings are done in secret by those who have been mutated by the contaminated environment. Don't let them get you!
I will admit even though you have to trespass sometimes when it comes to filming these places I respect you guys because you guys don't vandalize, destroy, or take anyting in fact with y'all it's the opposite you respect, photograph, film and most of all preserve the structure because you never know it could be gone within the next few months or the next few years along with everything inside it
When you explore these places do you guys ever feel like the apocalypse has happened or like you've gone back in time? That's kind of how it feels watching these videos. It's kind of surreal and a play on the imagination.
I love them both. I would have to say this one. I love the old abandoned places. Seem like time just stood still. Those stairs were scary you had to climb up to the second or third floor. But what a Gem when You All got there.
I love the street art in there, that one with the iguana is my favorite. I do like it when you give the history of the place. It makes sense in why they abandoned it but left so much things. Looking forward to watching your next urbex exploration.
This was simply stunning! I love decay when it is well advanced like this, and Nature is taking every opportunity to move in. There is something luminal about it, it is neither able to be lived in, nor is it just a heap of rubble...like seeing the bones of what once was. Some really good street artists represented there, but I must admit, that fly was my favourite. Thanks for all you do to get these magical compositions you always manage to create. Stay safe out there.🖤🇨🇦
Your Documentation is Awesome! Your Channel Rocks! These videos are so informatively rich and interesting. Truely beautiful and worthy pieces of work. And I personally also enjoy them. Many Thanks!!
Go #TeamBWT! Picking a fave vid is like picking a fave child, but I think that I prefer the cleaner explore. Decay can look like a lost world, but I can envision people working, how they worked, and what their day was like in the clean, barely abandoned spaces. Pretty good for a space half way around the world, 15 yrs ago... Thanks for involving us! 🙏🏻
I did enjoy. The street art is beautiful.it's a shame it is inside the building not many people gets to see it. Omg climbing the Stairs looks so scary. Sad all the toxic got dump everywhere. I would of Love to just walk through this place. I did enjoy this video Thank YOu for taking Us here. I can't wait for the next one. I do hope Ya got away. :) I love the video and will have to share it my F.B. Page. :)
You guys are amazing! I enjoy coming home from work and finding that you have posted a new video. Have you ever had the chance to do a automobile factory?
Some of that art looks similar to the art you found when exploring, I think, Italy? There was a psychiatric facility that had gorgeous street art. And the trees growing right out of the wall in the open window. Wow! This is a beautiful exploration but such a sad story of pollution and waste.
Has a new subscriber, I love your narration and history into each explore! Most of my subscribed channel are European based,I find them much more interesting and fascinating than American uploads. Europeans have much more respect for their abandonded property's. Nice job filming and editing!!🤗💕
That place was amazing! I would still think the land so close to a large city would be worth the investment to clean it up. But then....what do I know!?
I recently visited this place after recognize certain "landmarks" in your drone shots. Definitely beautiful and worth the effort of getting in. Although you have to be careful not to get overrun by a train on the way to the property...
Another great video guys, as always. I know you guys always list the music in your videos in the description, but have you considered making a BWT spotify playlist? I think it would be awesome!
Thanks for the exploration video! It is a huge shame that the chemical company treated the environment like shit but won't clean up their mess. I appreciated the graffiti art, especially the iguana.
@@BrokenWindowTheoryUrbex now this is a good example of my previous comment concerning the fact that film in photography help preserve this kind of thing because it could be gone at any time and this is a perfect example of it you came at the right time took nothing but photos left nothing but Footprints and help preserve the building and its history if you know of any museums ask them about maybe getting permission to save some of the artifacts inside before they're all destroyed because I know a lot of that stuff isn't even made anymore and I'm sure people today would find it interesting
